Another Hypocritical Slap-shot

In 2010 the Supreme Court overturned the ruling that barred corporations from spending freely to support or oppose candidates citing it's an unconstitutional restriction of free speech. Well, I'm sure you remember, this two-faced jerk-off ripping the Supreme Court a new one during the 2010 SOTU. The Supreme Court Justices sat while the Messiah chastised them as the Democrats vault to their feet cheering wildly.   He called the court's ruling in the Citizens United case a blow to democracy, adding, "I can't think of anything more devastating to the public interest."

This is a clip of that event.

Recently Obama did a 180 and now supports PAC money.
Obama campaign manager Jim Messina acknowledged the contradiction in a note posted on the campaign's blog late Monday and said Obama would still like to change the law to bar these operations.
"But this cycle, our campaign has to face the reality of the law as it currently stands," Messina wrote. "With so much at stake, we can't allow for two sets of rules in this election whereby the Republican nominee is the beneficiary of unlimited spending and Democrats unilaterally disarm."

In other words

Ask not what my conscience should do for me, ask what is right for my re-election.

Getting a little rattled are we?

Seems the new adage is... the "public interest" be damned... I want to get re-elected. There's just no two ways about it.

Hope the Supremes have a long memory when it comes to ruling on Obamacare.
