Move over Blago, here comes Johnny

Corzine: I Don’t KNOW, KNOW, KNOW

Jon Corzine ran a firm called MF Global. Somehow $1.2 billion of customer money winds up missing. He and Holder share a common bond. Both are in a position of authority and neither one of them supposedly knows what's going on.

On a tip from Ed Kilbane who calls it the Sargent Shultz Defense.

They are quite a bit similar.

Someone had a sense of humor with the sign in front of Corzine.

Former NAACP leader accuses Sharpton and Jackson of ‘exploiting’ Trayvon Martin

Prelude:
Unlike Sharpton, who seems to have the uncanny ability to be an eyewitness to every one of these events, some of which have come back to bite him on the ass. I find it difficult to share his enthusiasm.
Who really knows what happened in the Trayvon Martin case? The guy who shot this kid may be guilty has hell. Nobody knows for sure what happened. Except Barry, Al...and of course Jesse.

Barry just can't resist fanning the flames. First the Beer Summit and now this.
..."if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon."

Let's just say the "Gettysburg address moment" has passed.

The remark was made simply to summon the black vote.  I can't remember any of the president's predecessors wading into these waters. Where was his outrage when Casey Anthony killed her daughter and got away with it?

Click here to read some startling new revelations about Trayon Martin.

The bottom line is if  Trayon Martin was killed by another black teen we wouldn't have heard a word about it.

The gentleman below Rev C.L. Bryant has taken a honest, level headed, approach to the Trayvon Martin situation. Meaning...Lets look at the real  facts.  Maybe we could all learn a lesson.  Too bad we don't have people like him in Congress.

C.L. Bryant

Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of "exploiting" the Trayvon Martin tragedy to "racially divide this country."

"His family should be outraged at the fact that they're using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions," Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller.

The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton "race hustlers" and said they are "acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy."

Jackson, for example, recently said Martin's death shows how "blacks are under attack" and "targeting, arresting, convicting blacks and ultimately killing us is big business." (SEE ALSO: Jesse Jackson says Trayvon Martin 'murdered and martyred')

George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain, killed Martin, a 17-year-old black man who was unarmed at the time of his death, last month. Zimmerman has claimed to have shot Martin in self-defense and has not been charged with a crime.

But Bryant, who explores the topic of black-on-black crime in his new film "Runaway Slave," said people like Jackson and Sharpton are being misleading to suggest there is an epidemic of "white men killing black young men."

"The epidemic is truly black on black crime," Bryant said. "The greatest danger to the lives of young black men are young black men."

Bryant said he wishes civil rights leaders were protesting those problems.

"Why not be angry about the wholesale murder that goes on in the streets of Newark and Chicago?" he asked. "Why isn't somebody angry about that six-year-old girl who was killed on her steps last weekend in a cross fire when two gang members in Chicago start shooting at each other? Why is there no outrage about that?"

Bryant said he worries that "people like Sharpton and those on the left" will make Martin's death a campaign issue in the presidential race.

He speculated that they will "turn this evolving tragedy of this young man into fodder to say… if you don't re-elect Obama then you will have unbridled events or circumstances like this happening in the streets to young men wearing hoodies." (RELATED: Herman Cain criticizes 'swirling rhetoric' after Martin shooting)

He also criticized President Obama for his "nebulous statement" responding to Martin's death that "if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon."

"What does that mean?" Bryant asked. "What was the purpose in that?"

The curious life of POTUS and FLOTUS

In the White House not very long ago Barry and Michelle were getting ready for bed. Michelle donned a flowing white night gown while Barry put on his favorite blue pajamas; the one's with the small circular logos dotted all over them.

 After
the issue of voter photo ID exploded Barry was tired and looked forward to a good night's sleep.  No sooner had they slipped into bed and Michelle's concerns about  family implications prompted this, "What are we going to do about your aunt and uncle?"

"Which ones?" He replied?

"Silly....Aunt Zeituni and Uncle Onyango."

"Don't fret my dear. Remember who you married?"

"You do remember Uncle Onyango was arrested for drunk driving and almost hit a police car? Now that the Republicans are making voter ID an issue, what if the press brings this to the forefront?

"The press...your joking right?" he said.

Leaning over him she put her hand lightly on his shoulder. "OK,  but what about FOX? They're not in lockstep.
Sooner or later the average Joe Blow on the street is going to realize what's really going on."  She hesitated a moment then added, "They're not that dumb."  She said it like it was more of a question, then a statement of fact.

Not bothering to lift his head from the pillow ... "All I have to do is step up to the podium break out my trademark shit-eatin' grin...
they'll swoon all over me."

Reality set in, yet she couldn't help but say with a touch of agitation. "Will they be deported now, who's going to support them?"

"What do you think taxpayers are for? I've got em' on Section 8 housing  receiving a welfare checks every month...free healthcare too."

A smile came over her face as Barry raised his head a little then added.
"You know Michelle... (trying to suppress a laugh)...
I got everybody payin' their fair share!"

They shared a laugh together, Michelle scootched up and kissed Barry on the cheek before turning over settling her head in the pillow. Barry pulled the sheet up to his shoulder, and fluffed the pillow a couple of times, nestling his head in it, before going fast to sleep.

OK, this is old news and it's a fictional tale; but Obama's aunt and uncle are not.  A new issue concerning photo ID has risen in an attempt to prevent voter fraud. Now that  Obama's aunt and uncle got their shot at immunity, what about the 12 million "undocumented Democrats" residing in this country?

Barry's aunt and uncle

Think for a moment. This is the guy we trust to secure our border, to preserve the integrity of our voting process by requiring photo ID, and pay down the national debt?
The same guy who had the audacity to preach the Gospel according to Obama... He that haveth shall bestow upon the multitudes thy fair share for it is right and just.

The end result is this. His aunt and uncle living here illegally should have been deported. Using his influence he put a stop to it. Then to add insult to injury POTUS and FLOTUS who are worth millions do the unthinkable. Instead of setting an example by supporting their own family (as in the gospel of my fair share) he puts them on the government dole!

Isn't it bad enough they're here illegally and now we have to pay to support his familyAs an American, regardless of your political affiliation, don't you feel your being played for a sucker?

Who stands up for us?

All politicians both Democrats and Republicans are hypocrits and liars. But when it comes to Obama he is the GOLD STANDARD by which all others are judged. Through some genetic mix up gone horribly wrong he became POTUS when his true calling in life was a used car salesman.

Before you do this:

Think about it:

Hope And Change

When you're through changing, you're through.

Charlie Sheen ain't got nothing on this guy

Allow me to set the stage:

This scumbag's remark on the Clinton Lewinsky scandal.

Is this rich or what?
“I think this President has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter. It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen.” —

John Edwards, Feb. 12, 1999

On a tip from Ed Kilbane

John Edwards Reportedly Named In Investigation Of Alleged 'Millionaire Madam' Anna Gristina

MANHATTAN — A call girl working for alleged "Millionaire Madam" Anna Gristinatold investigators she was paid to have sex with former U.S. Sen. John Edwards when he was in New York raising money for his failed presidential bid, DNAinfo has learned.

Edwards is the first big name to surface in connection to Gristina's alleged prostitution scheme run out of an Upper East Side apartment.

Edwards' lawyer declined to comment on when reached Wednesday. On Thursday morning, his attorneys issued a statement to Politico and other news outlets saying their client "categorically" denied the allegation. Later Thursday morning, DNAinfo was contacted by Edwards attorney Abbe Lowell demanding a retraction.

DNAinfo stands by its story.

According to “On The Inside” sources, Edwards allegedly hooked up with one of Gristina’s high-end hookers in 2007 when the dashing pol from North Carolina brought his then high-flying presidential campaign to the Big Apple.

The one-night fling allegedly took place at an Upper East Side hotel suite and was arranged by an aide with help from a New Yorker familiar with Gristina’s prostitution ring, sources said.

The prostitute claiming to have slept with Edwards provided a detailed, first-hand account of their encounter to investigators in the Manhattan District Attorney's office in 2008 after they began probing Gristina’s operation, sources said.

“Most of the women don’t have any idea about the identities of the men they sleep with,” a source explained. “How would they know a money man from Wall Street or the face of a lawyer or banker who shows up?

“But the face of the national politician?” the source rhetorically asked. “She knew.”

Investigators found the woman credible, but never notified federal authorities, seeing no reason to involve the feds in a low-level local infraction, sources told DNAinfo.

At the time, investigators were shocked at the allegation because Edwards was then considered the All-American persona.

"On The Inside” sources said investigators were able to substantiate that Edwards was in New York on a fund-raising tour at the time of the alleged encounter.

Records show the Edwards campaign spent thousands of dollars for near-monthly stays at the Loews Hotels Regency at 540 Park Ave. on the Upper East Side in 2007, along with stays at several other Manhattan hotels including a Comfort Inn on West 39th Street.

The Loews Hotels Regency is also where he reportedly met videographer Rielle Hunter, who bore Edwards a love child while his wife, Elizabeth, battled cancer.

No charges, however, were ever brought against Edwards because pay-for-play sex is difficult to prove.

Edwards, 58, is facing a federal trial in North Carolina for allegedly using nearly $1 million in campaign donations to cover up an affair he had during that same campaign season with Hunter.

In addition to the upcoming trial, Edwards has already agreed in a separate action involving the Federal Election Commission to repay the government $2.1 million that the campaign had been overpaid in federal matching funds.

Gristina’s reputed “black book” client list allegedly contains powerful, wealthy, politically-connected and influential players, according to sources familiar with her estimated $15 million New York prostitution empire.

Sources told DNAinfo that the “Millionaire Madam’s” list of patrons shelling out thousands of dollars for weekend getaways includes: a Middle Eastern sheik, an international billionaire financier, a nightclub impresario, dozens of Wall Street hedge fund and investment bankers, and a network of lawyers — all of which are burning up phone lines trying to find out if their names could surface.

“On The Inside” has also pieced together the inside account of the prostitution probe that has fascinated New Yorkers since DNAinfo broke the story earlier this month.

According to sources, the investigation of Anna Gristina, a sassy Scottish immigrant and mother of four, started in 2008 with the humble arrest of a 20-something woman hauled in on a criminal charge not related to prostitution.

The woman volunteered that she was secretly a high-end hooker working for a “Millionaire Madam” who repeatedly bragged of having law enforcement and a cadre of powerbrokers in her pocket.

The probe was assigned by then-Manhattan DA Robert Morgenthau to a corruption unit to determine if there were cops or other officials on the take.

Probers theorized that Gristina would likely need two important NYPD connections: one who could tip her off to raids, such as a cop in the Vice Unit, and another who would conduct instant background checks on new clients surfacing with hard cash and a pressing need to spend it.

“She could need protection from raids,” a source explained.

“But the real need is that it would be great for her have someone providing background history right away,” a second source explained.

“She would need it quickly to check someone being legit,” the source continued. ”Not in days, but within hours. Private eyes could not do it for her that fast with some guy holding thousands to spend and wanting to get laid.”

According to sources, there was also an allegation that Gristina was extremely close with the wife of an NYPD sergeant.
But the closest thing to official corruption that was initially uncoverd was Gristina's connection to Jonas Gayer, a disgraced former IRS agent who was convicted in 1989 in a $10 million tax fraud case touted then as the largest in U.S history.

They followed Gayer — and bugged his phones — tracking him as he opened bank accounts in branches near his Beekman Place office allegedly to hide Gristina's ill-gotten gains.

More than two years after the probe began, Gayer — who owns a home on Shelter Island and an art collection — was hauled in and charged with with money laundering and promoting prostitution.

He began to cooperate almost immediately, sources said, but his assistance has yielded little evidence of corruption, sources say.

Prosecutors have stepped up the pressure to bring the case to a climax, issuing a flurry of subpoenas to alleged prostitutes seeking their bank accounts, credits cards and other records. Two of those women are Mhairianglea Bottone and Catherine DeVries. Prosecutors have also investigated potential fake companies created to launder money in real estate or other ventures.

They have also arrested VIP matchmaker Jaynie Mae Baker and charged her for allegedly being Gristina's accomplice.

And last week cops raided the office of David Jaroslawicz at 225 Broadway seizing dozens of boxes of records. The lawyer is linked o the E. 78th St. building where Gristina allegedly operated and he owns a string of limited liability companies and nearly $4 million worth of property upstate near Gristina's home and200-acre pig farm, where she was known as an animal rescuer.

Witnesses meanwhile will continue to shuffle into the grand jury room at 100 Centre St. Friday, including Gristina's private eye pal, Vincent Parco, but no new indictments are expected to be announced.

Jill Colvin contributed reporting.

No...I think he's talking to us.

Robert De Niro must be taking Joe Biden gaffe lessons...and to an all new level.

"Callista Gingrich, Karen Santorum, Ann Romney. Now do you really think our country is ready for a white first lady?" De Niro said. "Too soon, right?"

Seems like a strange comment coming from a male Caucasian unless you know Bob.

Ray Kelly Thinks Maybe He’s the One Being Stereotyped

Before you read this bear in mind since 911 the NYPD has done an incredible job of preventing terrorist attacks; succeeding in breaking up 14 attempted attacks and all 14 involve Muslims who are either home grown or immigrated here.

Would you go to a hardware store if you needed a loaf of bread?

A Sunday editorial in the New York Times called for a Justice Department review of the New York Police Department's actions, not focused on its "constitutionally suspect surveillance practices," but also the use of stop-and-frisks. According to the Times, the NYPD's abuses of power "have virtually eliminated the presumption of innocence and that treat citizens, and even entire communities, as suspect even after they are proved innocent." In response, Mike Lupica of the New YorkDaily News lent Commissioner Ray Kelly a sympathetic ear in Monday's edition, with both men taking the opportunity to scoff at the haters. "Maybe they're not comfortable with success," Kelly said, simply.

Kelly, the city's longest-serving police commissioner ever, promises, "I'm not going anywhere." Under his rule, the News notes, there has been a drop in the number of officers due to budget cuts, but also a lowered murder rate. "Think about math like that," Lupica writes, calling the Times editorial "overwrought."

Last week, Kelly lashed out at City Council members who questioned the work of the department, including spying on Muslim communities, which has been shown to reflect little more than religious profiling. Speaking to Lupica, Kelly gets a bit flip with the criticisms: "Sometimes it sounds sometimes like people are more comfortable stereotyping me," he said.

Kelly also accuses his opponents of forgetting about 9/11. "People have short memories, they just do. They do," he said. "I live downtown and pass Ground Zero every single day. Maybe that's why it's on my mind more than it is with other people. [Sept. 11] is an event that should never ever escape the consciousness of New York. But sometimes I think it does."

"Listen, I know we'd all like to go back to a more peaceful time in America," he continued. "That's just not the country in which we live, and it's certainly not the world in which we live. Sometimes I believe there's this notion that if we don't have a threat for two months, well, things are getting better. Only they're not. This is a long-term war we're in against terrorism, and we are going to continue to do what we're doing." And hopefully, those in the business of asking questions and encouraging oversight will keep at it as well, even if it tests Kelly's patience.

American killed in Yemen

The school "is calling on the Yemeni people to rise up and reject the hatred and violence in their country."

Don't hold your breath.

Tolerance Bloomberg... gotta be a two way street.

I suspect tolerance espoused by the liberal establishment, which embraces Islam, has more to do with fear then religious equality. Another likely explanation is their advocacy of the progressive liberal blind trust theory which is... look the other way and hope nothing happens.

School that employed American shot in Yemen denies he proselytized Christianity

(So what if he did... then it's acceptable to kill him?)

SANAA, Yemen – The school employing an American teacher gunned down in Yemen has denied accusations that he was proselytizing Christianity.

Mar. 18, 2012: Yemenis gather around a damaged vehicle purported to belong to an American teacher shot by gunmen in Taiz, Yemen.

A text message that circulated by mobile phone in Yemen said that "holy warriors" had killed "a senior missionary" in the central city of Taiz, shortly after the teacher was shot dead Sunday by two gunmen on a motorcycle.

It was impossible to confirm the claim of responsibility. Al Qaeda and other militant groups are active in Yemen, which has suffered a breakdown of central state authority during the country's yearlong uprising.

Taiz security director Ali al-Saidi said Monday that the investigation is still ongoing.

A statement from the International Training Development Centre in Taiz identified the victim as Joel Shrum, an American development worker living in Yemen with his wife and two children since 2010.

The school denied that Shrum was proselytizing, saying that he "highly respected" Islam. It said Muslims and Christians work together on "human development, skill transfer and community development" projects there and that religious and political debates are not permitted.

The release said the school "is calling on the Yemeni people to rise up and rejects the hatred and violence in their country."

The (Lancaster) Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era identified Shrum, 30, as a former resident of the central Pennsylvania town of Mount Joy.

Shrum's father told the newspaper his son loved his job. "He was just motivated by especially seeing people coming out of poverty," James Shrum said.

Joel Shrum had last talked to his family on Friday, discussing a planned vacation together this summer, the newspaper reported.

Shrum was a standout football player at Donegal High School, where former coach Gayne Deshler remembered him as a team-first player. Deshler told the newspaper he worried about Shrum and other family members who did church worker abroad, fearing the kind of violence that took Shrum's life.

"They were the kind of family you could see doing that because they were always more interested in other people than themselves," he said.
