Eva Longoria to advise Barack Obama on post-White House career

Actress Eva Longoria is a part of a group of people advising President Barack Obama on what he should do after he leaves the White House.

Longoria, 45, along with novelist Toni Morrison said to have attended midnight meetings at the White House to discuss Obama's career options post-presidency, reported the New York Times.

Writer Malcolm Gladwell, LinkedIn billionaire Reid Hoffman and hedge fund manager Marc Lasry, as well as First Lady Michelle Obama were part of the midnight conference.





"Desperate Housewives" actress Longoria has become an important political figure during the Obama's presidential years.

She co-chaired the his re-election campaign in 2012 and has also been an
ardent activist for the immigration reform plans of the administration.
