Warren Beatty read out the wrong winner for Best Picture at the Oscars

The La La Land cast and crew did a full speech before being told Moonlight had in fact won. The bastards were so into bashing Trump they got it all wrong. They presented themselves for what they really are. Irrelevant fools.

CNN is conducting an investigation.

Just when you think the whole thing's over and you can go to bed, something incredible happens and The Oscars 2017 goes down in history.

It was time for the very last award of the evening: Best Picture. Everyone was ready to clap and applaud for La La Land, which is the film the whole world expected to win.

Warren Beatty, who was presenting the award with Faye Dunaway, read out La La Land, and the cast and crew jumped up to accept their award. Just as their acceptance speech was coming to an end, there was a kerfuffle onstage, and it was revealed that the wrong film had been announced as the winner of the prestigious award. Moonlight was, in fact, the winner.

So, so awkward…

"This was not a joke," Warren assured everyone, after admitting to the mistake.

"I wasn't trying to be funny," he added, explaining that they had been handed the previous winner's envelope. "That's why I looked at Faye for a really long time," said Beatty.

He told the audience that they had read the wrong envelope, seeing Emma Stone won for La La Land, who was actually the winner for Best Actress.
