The Kamala Harris campaign is in big trouble

To say the least...

This was her story Novemember 23rd.

Harris hopes to make 'magic' with black women in SC

Aside a wall of 2-foot-tall letters spelling out “Black Women Lead,” behind a podium bearing a “Black Women for Kamala” sign, Kamala Harris made an appeal Saturday to black women in South Carolina, a contingency whose support she sees as crucial to the viability of her presidential candidacy.

“When we talk about black girl magic, we know that it is something special,” Harris told the crowd of about 300, most of whom were black women, in a ballroom at Benedict College, a historically black institution in downtown Columbia. “But that magic is born out of hard work. ... It didn’t just magically appear. ... We worked hard for that.”

She's got it all wrong! She should embrace 'white magic" like Barry did. In a rush to prove they’re not racist white Americans flocked to the polls in droves, tripping over themselves, to get to the voting booth in order to elect a black community organizer only to discover he was more worthless than used toilet paper.

Ms. Harris at a rally in Davenport, Iowa, in August

Senator Kamala Harris of California took her most drastic action yet on Wednesday to salvage her once-promising, now-languishing presidential bid, laying off staff members at her Baltimore headquarters and elsewhere, and redeploying others to Iowa, where she is looking to rejuvenate her campaign. When those cuts arrived, members of the senior staff were enraged because they did not know the extent of the layoffs until after they happened.

Judging by this photo her makeup artist was the first one to get the pink slip.

(If you're as shocked as I was that's her sister on the right)

The moves are the most serious reboot from any Democratic campaign that was once in the top tier, but they may not be enough to ensure a turnaround for Ms. Harris. Even as she commits to campaigning aggressively in Iowa, she is keeping up a busy national fund-raising schedule to avoid falling further behind financially; in July, August and September, Ms. Harris spent nearly $1.25 for every dollar she raised.

The restructuring came on the same day that a new poll, from USA Today/Suffolk, showed Ms. Harris dropping to 3 percent, down three percentage points since August. It puts Ms. Harris well behind the leaders and in a virtual tie with Representative Tulsi Gabbard, whom Ms. Harris thought so little of two months ago that she mostly ignored her attacks in the late July debate.

“Campaigns are about tough choices and this one is no different,” Ms. Harris’s communications director, Lily Adams, said on Twitter. “Kamala & this team launched with 1 goal in mind: win the nomination & take on Trump. It wasn’t to just participate. We’re going to make the hard choices necessary to put us in a place to achieve that goal.”

Ms. Harris’s struggles are another sign that the once-crowded Democratic field is increasingly sorting itself into haves and have-nots, with Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, IND., separating themselves from the pack.

Ms. Harris is one of two black senators in the field — the other is Cory Booker of New Jersey, who is also ranking low in the polls — and some Democrats have lamented that what began as the most diverse Democratic field in history has narrowed to a top tier that is all white. Others say the nonwhite candidates themselves are responsible and point out that Mr. Biden is a front-runner because he has amassed black supporters at the expense of challengers like Ms. Harris.

Flip a coin. Who's the next one to go? Heads Harris...tales Spartacus.

The Whistleblower

In this photoshopped photograph, a smiling Eric Ciaramella, then Ukraine director on the National Security Council at the White House, is shown shaking Barry's hand. They are standing in front of a portrait of Abraham Lincoln.

Ukraine specialist Eric Ciaramella poses for a photo with former President Barack Obama at the White House.

A Republican close to the White House said this unedited photo was evidence Ciaramella is a spy who supported Obama.

"This original photo confirms that career intelligence and foreign service officials serving at the highest ranks of the Trump White House have their own agenda and their own policy viewpoints."

Another Big Lie

Hunter Biden Is The Father Of An Arkansas Baby, Court Filings Reveal

This was his line in August:

Hunter Biden denies claim he fathered a child with Arkansas woman

What a paradox! The bastard is almost as good a liar as the Clinton's...yet just as dumb as his father.

If he's lying about something easily provable...makes you wonder what else he lied about.

His latest explanation of what cropped up...

------------------------------------

Hunter Biden, the much-discussed son of Democratic frontrunner and former Vice President Joe Biden, is the father of a baby born in Arkansas in August of 2018, according to court filings. For months, Biden denied that he fathered the child; however, the mother has stated that Hunter “verbally admitted” to her in private that he was the father of the child.

The motion, filed earlier today in Independence County Circuit Court, declares with “scientific certainty” that Hunter, 49, is the father of a child born to 28-year-old Lunden Alexis Roberts. According to local reports, public records indicate that a woman by that name lives in Batesville, Arkansas.

Roberts attended college at Western Illinois University, playing for the college’s basketball team before transferring to Arkansas State University, where she graduated in 2014 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies.

She was living in Washington, D.C., and Virginia from 2015 to 2018, according to pubic records, which would have been the time when the child was conceived.

According to the motion, it is not anticipated that Hunter will challenge the results of the paternity test, which was conducted less than two weeks ago in Oklahoma City (per a separate filing). The court document also indicates that the unnamed child, named “Baby Doe” in the filings, may be eligible for secret service protection, given the child is the biological grandchild of a major political figure.

Back in May, the baby’s mother filed for paternity and child support for Baby Doe, alleging that at one point Hunter and Roberts were in a relationship. It is believed that Hunter was dating his brother Beau’s widow, Hallie Biden, when Roberts gave birth to Baby Doe last year, given Hunter and Hallie began dating in 2017 after his divorce from Kathleen Biden and did not break up until April of 2019.

To further complicate matters, Hunter Biden then married his now-wife Melissa Cohen in May of 2019. Biden has three daughters with his former wife Kathleen.

Given Hunter’s public denials of having fathered the child, these latest revelations do little to help the controversial figure’s credibility.

Or his father's...

'Hope I made you proud out there': Biden sends out post-debate email hours BEFORE event even starts

"We need leadership. We need to be ready on day one to get the country back on track and clean up Donald Trump’s mess."

Yeah, the DOW is way too high...right Joe? Oh, and when did Baghdadi come back to life? The unemployment rate will be better under a Biden administration I'm sure. Bet you would have better relations with China than Trump has... since your son needs to make a buck.

Seriously out of 375 million Americans he is the most qualified to become POTUS?

Ailes said it best...

An excerpt from an article about the debate last night:

Fordham University associate professor of political science Christina Greer said Biden struggled to “answer a question directly” and appeared not to “think clearly or succinctly.”

Kapolczynski said that in the first half in particular, “Biden couldn’t seem to get a complete sentence out.”

The former vice president struggled with his wording in a discussion on and condemnation of violence against women.

“We have to just change the culture, period, and keep punching at it and punching at it and punching at it,” he said, then adding when there was nervous laughter from the crowd, “No, I really mean it.”

Punch at it? Great choice of words Joe.

----------------------------------------

ATLANTA — Joe Biden asked supporters, whether he made them proud during Wednesday night's debate before the former vice president had even walked out on stage to face nine rival 2020 Democrats.

"I’m leaving the fifth Democratic debate now. I hope I made you proud out there and I hope I made it clear to the world why our campaign is so important," he wrote in a fundraising email Wednesday afternoon.

In the note, Biden, who celebrates his 77th birthday on Wednesday, as well as the existence of a new grandchild, took a jab at Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, his rival for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, in a line of attack he has used on the trail.

"We need leadership. We need to be ready on day one to get the country back on track and clean up Donald Trump’s mess. But we need more than plans," the 36-year Delaware senator wrote, referring to his fellow front-runner's mantra, "I've got a plan for that."

"We need the grit and the resolve to get things done," Biden wrote. "We need to reach across the aisle and demand that our leaders do what’s right. That we provide access to affordable health care. That we protect our planet. That we lead on the global stage again."

The email's sentiments were echoed in a pre-debate briefing campaign aides held with reporters.

Venice devastated by second highest tide in history

The mayor of Venice blamed climate change for the flooding of the canal city which hit the second-highest levels ever, as the city braced for yet another in the coming days ...

The second-highest level due to climate change? Hmm.... wonder what caused the first-highest level ever in 1966? You know, when there was no climate change?

Maybe it's baby brother.
Global Warming.

-----------------------------

VENICE, Italy (Reuters) - Venice’s mayor called the city a disaster zone on Wednesday after the second highest tide ever recorded swept through it overnight, flooding its historic basilica and leaving many squares and alleyways deep under water.

A local man from Pellestrina, one of the many islands in the Venetian lagoon, died when he was struck by lightning while using an electric water pump, the fire brigade said.

City officials said the tide peaked at 187 cm (6ft 2ins) at 10.50 p.m. (2150 GMT) on Tuesday, just short of the record 194 cm set in 1966.

Night-time footage showed a torrent of water whipped up by high winds raging through the city centre while Luca Zaia, governor of the Veneto region, described a scene of “apocalyptic devastation”.

Mayor Luigi Brugnaro said the situation was dramatic. “We ask the government to help us. The cost will be high. This is the result of climate change,” he said on Twitter.

He said he would declare a disaster zone and ask the government to call a state of emergency, which would allow funds to be freed to address the damage.

A flood barrier was designed in 1984 to protect Venice from the kind of high tides that hit the city on Tuesday, but the multi-billion euro project, known as Mose, has been plagued by corruption scandals and is still not operative

Brugnaro said the basilica had suffered “grave damage”, but no details were available on the state of its mainly Byzantine interior, famous for its rich mosaics.

Its administrator said the basilica had aged 20 years in a single day when it was flooded last year.

Some tourists appeared to enjoy the drama, with one man filmed swimming across Saint Mark’s Square wearing only shorts on Tuesday evening.

“Venice is on its knees.. the art, the basilica, the shops and the homes, a disaster.. The city is bracing itself for the next high tide,” Zaia said on TV.

The luxury Hotel Gritti, a landmark of Venice which looks onto the Lagoon, was also flooded.

On Wednesday morning the tide level fell to 145 cm but was expected to rise back to 160 cm during the day.

Local authorities and the government’s civil protection unit will hold a news conference at 1100 GMT.

The overnight surge triggered several fires, including one at the International Gallery of Modern Art Ca’ Pesaro, with hundreds of calls to the fire brigade.

Video on social media showed deep water flowing like a river along one of Venice’s main thoroughfares. Other footage showed large waves hammering boats moored alongside the Doge’s Palace and surging over the stone sidewalks.

“A high tide of 187 cm is going to leave an indelible wound,” Brugnaro said.

Much of Italy has been pummelled by torrential rains in recent days, with widespread flooding, especially in the southern heel and toe of the country.

In Matera, this year’s European Capital of Culture, rain water cascaded through the streets and inundated the city’s famous cave-dwelling district.

Further bad weather is forecast for the coming days.
