Proof positive Jimmy Carter has Alzheimer's Disease

It's kind of a shame really.  Now that he has been elevated to the second worse president of all time he had to come down with Alzheimer's.  I guess it could be worse.  He could actually be convinced what he is saying is true.

Prelude to the following article:

The leader of the Palestinian militant Hamas government in Gaza has condemned the United States for killing al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden. Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh says the operation is "the continuation of the American oppression and shedding of blood of Muslims and Arabs."

Haniyeh told reporters in Gaza on Monday that although Hamas had its differences with al-Qaida, his group condemns the assassination of "a Muslim and Arabic warrior" and prays that bin Laden's "soul rests in peace."

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, a conservative organization with links around the Islamic world, also has condemned the killing of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden by U.S. forces as an "assassination."

This is the same Hamas that Jimmy Carter and Feisal Abdul Rauf (Mr. ground zero mosque) said are not a terrorist organization.

Carter calls on international community to support Hamas-Fatah unity deal

The former U.S. President writes in an op-ed in the Washington Post that if the international community undermines the Palestinian unity deal, the situation could deteriorate into renewed violence against Israel.

Former United States President Jimmy Carter hailed the Palestinian unity government and called on the international community to also support it as well in an opinion peace published by the Washington Post on Wednesday.

"If the United States and the international community support this effort, they can help Palestinian democracy and establish the basis for a unified Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza that can make a secure peace with Israel," Carter wrote in the op-ed. "If they remain aloof or undermine the agreement, the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory may deteriorate with a new round of violence against Israel."

Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah are meeting in Cairo on Wednesday in order to sign a reconciliation deal that would lead to an interim unity government.

The former U.S. president issued a statement on Friday commending the reconciliation, which he said would "begin the process of reunifying the Palestinian people."

Carter writes in his opinion peace that with international support, the Palestinian reconciliation "could lead to a durable cease-fire" with Israel. He also wrote that he condemned Hamas rocket fire from Gaza into Israel.

Israel has rejected the Hamas-Fatah unity agreement, with Netanyahu saying shortly after it was announced that "the Palestinian Authority must choose either peace with Israel or peace with Hamas. There is no possibility for peace with both. Hamas aspires to destroy Israel and fires rockets at our cities ... at our children."

Carter claimed that Israelis "say that as long as the Palestinians are divided, there is no partner for peace. But at the same time, they refuse to accept a unity government."

The Quartet should work with the new Palestinian government to be able to "jump-start final-status negotiations with Israel," Carter concluded.

They lack a hell of a lot more then "vitality"

"Some in the U.S. press have suggested that Pakistan lacked vitality in its pursuit of terrorism, or worse yet that we were disingenuous and actually protected the terrorists we claimed to be pursuing. Such baseless speculation may make exciting cable news, but it doesn't reflect fact," Asif Ali Zardari wrote in a Washington Post opinion piece.

OK so lets see if I got this straight. The number one terrorist in the world builds a compound  approximately 6 years ago for one million dollars (where the money came from is unclear at this time)  just 35 miles from the capitol of Pakistan. The building is 8 times larger then any other in the surrounding area. The walls are 12 to 18 feet high topped with barbed wire. There is no phone service, internet, or trash pick-up. The house is 100 yards from the gate of the Kakul Military Academy, an army run institution where top officers train. Surely over the past 6 years these officers driving by the compound must have rubbed their chin and thought….Gee I wonder who lives in that house?

Either that.... or it must be The Kakul Military Academy For The Blind!

There were no guards protecting the compound.  That should be a tip off right there. So ask yourself this. If you were UBL would you build a compound 100 yards away from a Pakistani military base unless you knew you had nothing to fear?  Would John Dillinger occupy an apartment above the police station?

Update:

According to Mansoor Ijaz a respected Pakistani commentator said the Pakistani military owned the land UBL bought to build the compound. However, this story keeps changing so who knows.

Bottom line. Pakistan has nukes. I guess we're handling the situation delicately so they don't go over to the "dark side" entirely.

And it's all because of this guy:

A Q Khan probably the most dangerous man in the world. I'd like to seen this guy taken out next.
