Marilyn Mosby seeks to block release of Freddie Gray autopsy

Big question.
Why?

I guarantee you if the autopsy proved beyond a shadow of doubt the officers were culpable in the death of Freddie Gray it would have been released a long time ago.

You gotta love this line:

Mosby told The Baltimore Sun that prosecutors "have a duty to ensure a fair and impartial process for all parties involved" and "will not be baited into litigating this case through the media."

baited???
She didn't have to be baited. Since this case first came to light she has been a staunch supporter of Freddie Gray and her comrades in the mob.

This is further prove of where her true interests lie.

Prince does a protest concert the songs invoking martyrs Freddie Gray and Michael Brown. Mosby not only attends the concert... she's on stage with Prince! Certainly there is no conflict of interest here right?

When the cops are vindicated and Baltimore burns to the ground you can point/give the finger to these two.

BTW...you ever wonder what would have transpired if all 6 cops were Black?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

BALTIMORE – Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby plans to seek a protective order that would block the release of Freddie Gray's autopsy report and other "sensitive" documents as she prosecutes the six police officers involved in his arrest.

Mosby told The Baltimore Sun that prosecutors "have a duty to ensure a fair and impartial process for all parties involved" and "will not be baited into litigating this case through the media."

But an attorney for one of the officers said the effort shows that "there is something in that autopsy report that they are trying to hide."

"Mrs. Mosby is the one who did an announcement discussing what she said the evidence was in a nationally televised speech," said Ivan Bates, who represents Sgt. Alicia White. "Now that it is time to turn over the evidence, to ask for a protective order is beyond disingenuous.

"It's as if she wants to do everything to make sure our clients do not get a fair trial."

Gray, 25, died in April after suffering a severe spinal cord injury in police custody. Mosby has charged the officers with violations ranging from misconduct in office to, in one case, second-degree murder.

"It's as if she wants to do everything to make sure our clients do not get a fair trial."

- Ivan Bates, a lawyer for one of the police officers

Baltimore's chief prosecutor declared her intention to seek the protective order in a court filing Monday. She also asked for more time to respond to defense motions that she and her office be removed from the case and that the case be tried outside Baltimore.

The move is the latest effort by Mosby's office to restrict information in the high-profile case. Her office has also sought a gag order to prevent participants from discussing the case in public, and has broken with a long-standing practice by not giving a copy of the autopsy report to Baltimore police.

In a response to Mosby's latest filing, defense attorneys said Wednesday that they have been denied an outline of evidence and claims against the officers, and have not been allowed to inspect a knife that was taken from Gray during his arrest.

Bates said the protective order would allow only prosecutors and defense attorneys to see the documents, and could require the court to seal all new filings that make reference to information in the documents.

In that way, he said, it would be more restrictive than a gag order.

"Nobody would know anything but the state and the defense, so they would totally hide it from the public," Bates said. "If your case is as good as you said it was, why don't you just show the evidence? ... You can't holler and say, 'I'm about accountability for the citizens,' and then run around filing for a protective order."

The Sun is one of 19 news organizations contesting Mosby's gag order request.

Gray's death on April 19, amid a national debate over police brutality, touched off days of protests. On the day of his funeral, the city erupted into several hours of riots, arson and looting.

Mosby filed charges against the officers on May 1 based on what she said was an independent investigation conducted by her office. A grand jury indicted White, Lt. Brian Rice and Officers Caesar Goodson, William Porter, Edward Nero and Garrett Miller three weeks later.

In her filing Monday, Mosby said prosecutors had "attempted to reach an agreement" with defense attorney Michael Belsky for more time to respond to the defense motions. Belsky is defending Rice and serving as the "designated contact attorney" for all of the officers.

Belsky agreed to give the state more time to respond to defense motions to dismiss the case, Mosby said, but only "in exchange for the State releasing certain discovery," including Gray's autopsy report, medical records and "all statements made by the defendants."

He did not agree to give the state more time to respond to the motion to remove the case from Baltimore, Mosby said.

Mosby said her office did not agree to "barter" over the documents.

"Because the State intends to seek a protective order to restrict the dissemination of such sensitive discovery in this matter," she wrote, "the State was not willing to so barter, and so no agreement could be reached."

The deadline for the state to respond to the defense motions is June 11. Mosby is asking for an extension until July 10.

Administration claims 10,000 ISIS have been killed

This is about as believable as you can keep your insurance period and there's  not a smidgen of corruption at the IRS not to mention Barry is the 4th best president (according to him) of all time.

When Harf and Earnest were asked about the accuracy of this report they  fumbled for an answer … probably because they knew Barry pulled it out of his ass and handed to Blinken.

This kind of brings to mind the time Barry said he goes skeet shooting all the time at Camp David. Naturally there was not a shred of evidence to collaborate it. Then magically, someone pulled a rabbit out of a hat, and this picture appeared all over the internet.

Everyone knew it was bullshit but as usual the MSM went along with it. When a reporter ask Barry if he used an over and under shotgun or a side by side to go skeet shooting he said he could't recall but the skeet were delicious.

Here's another strange coincidence.

U.S. Claims 10,000 ISIS have been killed right?

This story comes on the heels of this one released just a few days ago.

US military pilots complain hands tied in ‘frustrating’ fight against ISIS

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/05/28/us-military-pilots-complain-hands-tied-in-frustrating-fight-against-isis/

So we're left with a tough choice. Are you going to believe Barry or our military?

-----------------------------------------------------

A top U.S. diplomat strayed from a long-held wartime taboo Wednesday when he reported that 10,000 ISIS militants had been killed in Iraq and Syria, raising questions about how that number was compiled and whether it accurately reflected a U.S.-led coalition's success against the Islamic terror group.

"We have seen a lot of losses within Daesh since the start of this campaign, more than 10,000," Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on France Inter radio, using an alternate name for ISIS. "It will end up having an impact."

Blinken made the remarks as a stand-in for Secretary of State John Kerry at a Paris meeting of coalition members, who are under increasing pressure to step up the nine-month-old airstrike campaign. In recent weeks, ISIS has taken control of several key locations, including the Iraq city of Ramadi.

On its face, the body count seemed an attempt to show that the coalition's work — nearly 4,000 airstrikes and counting — was having an impact.

"We are spending millions a day, so at some point you want to say what you've accomplished," said Patrick Skinner, director of special projects for the Soufan Group, a security consulting company.

But body counts are considered a poor method of showing progress. Their frequent and futile use in the Vietnam War was among the conflict's many lessons

One reason such numbers aren't typically released publicly is that they are hard to prove.

The U.S. military, which officially does not not consider body counts as measures of success, hasn't explained how exactly it compiles ISIS casualties. Analysts believe that the numbers come from various sources, including satellite imagery, reports from partners on the ground, and claims from ISIS itself.

The 10,000 cited by Blinken was a classified estimate that the Department of Defense and the military did not intend to release. It was not clear why he decided to announce it on Wednesday.

Defense officials told NBC News that the "estimated of the number killed is correct but was not intended for release."

NBC News has been told the number is accurate only in the context of the much broader operations carried out by other ISIS opponents. That includes the Kurds, Shiite militias being armed and advised by Iran, Iraqi forces and Syrian forces.

Laith Alkhouri, of security consulting firm and NBC News partner Flashpoint Intelligence, said he didn't believe Blinken's number. The U.S. government hasn't shared any underlying evidence, such as incremental reports of ISIS deaths, to back it up, he said.

Flashpoint's own monitoring of jihadist reports doesn't reflect such a body count, Alkhouri said, also noting that the number doesn't reflect ISIS' recent string of military victories.

"The reality on the ground is that ISIS is capturing territory, not losing ground," he said.

Josh Earnest, a spokesman for President Barack Obama, said Wednesday that he had "no reason to believe" Blinken's number was inaccurate.

Even without boots on the ground, Earnest said, there are several ways the administration can get updates on casualties, including routine battle damage assessments, Iraqi military intelligence and the use of "intelligence surveillance reconnaissance equipment."

ISIS is known to replenish many of the fighters it loses in airstrikes. militant website via AP file

Earnest also told reporters that ISIS is "working really hard to replenish their ranks" by recruiting members from around the world.

But the total number of ISIS fighters is equally difficult to assess.

Intelligence officials figure it is anywhere between 20,000 and 30,000. That wide range is the best indication that any numbers are a broad estimate, which is why the military prefers not to quote them.

No matter the number, statistics do little to mask the more important issues: the conditions that allowed ISIS to develop, and its ability to attract recruits and supporters from around the world, including the U.S., Skinner said.

So while the body count may seem like good news, "materially it won't impact anything," he said.

Obama: Under My Leadership "The United States Is The Most Respected Country On Earth"

Barry lives in dreamland and thinks we do too.

He must think we are all fools. His bullshit is really a 180 from reality. Our enemies no longer fear us. But are friends do!

As I stated under a prior post this is really what's happening under his "leadership".

1. Putin is on a land grab operating with impunity. He also took control in Syria after Barry failed to live up to his infamous red line comment.

2. ISIS is chopping heads off a dime a dozen.

3. Iran (taken off the terror list) is supplying arms to terrorists in Yemen, while condemning Israel, as they attempt to sucker us into a deal lifting the sanctions which Barry is only to willing to do.

4. We gave up 5 Taliban commanders who are no longer under "house arrest" and free to kill again. And what did we get in return? A worthless deserter Bergdahl who will be court-martialed shortly and thrown in jail!

5.  He took Cuba off the terror list. How are they any different now then they were a year ago?

6. And now the Chinese are expanding their territory building man-made islands in international waters.

Why do these things happen?

Because we have a gutless, waste of skin, sitting in the oval office whose "leadership" got us to where we are today.

Warning:
Watching this video will force you to bite your tongue in order to stop laughing.

On Tuesday, President Obama hosted a discussion at the White House with a group of 75 young Southeast Asian Leaders on themes of civic engagement, environment and natural resources management and entrepreneurship. The group is the first cohort from the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Fellows Program.

In a a question and answer session that took place, the president was asked how he would like the world to remember him. He said that he wants Americans to know that America once again became "the most respected country on earth" under his watch.

"People don't remember, when I came into office, the United States in world opinion ranked below China, barely above Russia," Obama said. "And today, once again, the United States is the most respected country on earth, and part of that I think is because of the work that we did to reengage the world and say that we want to work with you as partners, with mutual interests and mutual respect."

And the source of this revelation came from where?
(Bet it wasn't Netanyahu)

ISIS bans pigeon breeding - punishable by public flogging - because seeing birds' genitals overhead offends Islam

From the ridiculous to the sublime

When was the last time you saw the genitals of a pigeon flying overhead?
Should pigeons have to be clothed while other birds fly freely nude overhead? This is nothing more than pure unadulterated racism against pigeons... either that or they are hedonistic infidels.

Next these dirty bastards will say breathing steals the air Allah created so the punishment...who would have guessed... is death.

Instead of coming up with these lame excuses why can't they just admit they kill because they like it?

-----------------------------------------------

Islamic extremists in Syria and Iraq have banned citizens breeding pigeons

Claim the sight of uncovered pigeons flying overhead is offensive to God

Also say that raising the birds wastes time that should be spent praying

Those who break the rules will face flogging, fines and even imprisonment
Earlier this year ISIS executed three boys they found breeding pigeons

Document: Senior ISIS issued this diktat banning pigeon breeding as they claim the sight of the birds' genitals as they fly overhead is offensive to Islam

Senior clerics fighting for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq have issued a diktat banning pigeon breeding as they claim the sight of the birds' genitals as they fly overhead is offensive to Islam.

Jihadis operating in the group's 'Euphrates province', which stretches from Anbar in Iraq to Dier ez Zour in Syria, told pigeon breeders they had one week to stop the practice or face public flogging.

The announcement isn't the first time ISIS has targeted the apparently blasphemous practice of pigeon breeding - a popular pastime in the Middle East.

Earlier this year it was claimed that 15 boys had been arrested and at least three of them executed by ISIS militants in Iraq's eastern Diyala governate after fighters took exception to their pigeon breeding hobby on the grounds that it stopped them spending their time worshipping Allah.

ISIS' latest ban on pigeon breeding was revealed in an official document released by senior administrators in the group's self-declared Euphrates province.

Written in Arabic script on paper headed with the terror group's chilling black and white logo, the short document begins with a warning to locals who keep pigeons on the roof of their houses.

'All those who keep pigeons above the roofs of their houses must stop doing this entirely within a week of the date of the issuing of this statement,' the militants say.

'Whosoever violates it will be subject to consequences of reprimand including a financial fine, imprisonment and flogging,' they add.

The war on pigeons: The latest announcement isn't the first time ISIS has targeted the apparently blasphemous practice of pigeon breeding - a popular pastime in the Middle East

When rumors of an ISIS ban on pigeons began to circulate earlier this year, it was widely assumed that it was related to the birds being used to either smuggle anti-ISIS messages or cigarettes.

However the new document clears up that misunderstanding, clearly stating that the ban is intended 'to put a stop to the greater criminal act of harming one's Muslim and Muslim women neighbours, revealing the [pigeon's] genitals and wasting time.'

Inevitably ISIS calls on its network of spies and terrified informers to ensure that those who ignore the ban suffer harsh punishments - demanding locals report anybody who continues to reveal their pigeons' genitals to the local religious police, known as the Hisbah.

It is likely that those who flout the ban as a one-off will be publicly flogged and fined a substantial sum.

Top down: The Islamic State's harsh treatment of anybody involved with pigeons is believed to come straight from senior figures within the terror group, such as the leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi himself

Bizarrely the latest pigeon breeding ban isn't the first time the militants have targeted the practice.

In January the terror group rounded up 15 boys who were 'wasting time' rearing the birds, summarily executing three of them.

The surviving boys' families were forced to pay as much as £1,200 each to secure their release after the group were snatched from their homes in the eastern Iraqi province of Diyala, close to Baghdad.

According to eyewitnesses, the ISIS militants searched every house for the pigeons themselves, stuffing any birds that they found into bags and taken them away to be burned.

Abu Abdullah, a farmer, told NBC News he had managed to get the money together after borrowing from family. Others had handed over jewellery to secure their sons' release.

Mr Abdullah revealed his son had been severely beaten and warned not to keep pigeons again.

Heavily armed: When rumours of an ISIS ban on pigeons began to circulate earlier this year, it was widely assumed that it was related to the birds being used to either smuggle anti-ISIS messages or cigarettes

Pigeon breeding is a popular hobby in the region, but it is said to be frowned upon by extremist Islamist fighters because they believe it is a distraction from worshipping Allah.

Mr Abdullah, 52, said he was standing beside his son when ISIS militants stormed the family home and kidnapped his son.

He said: 'I asked them why and they said: 'He is not following the real Islam, he must be punished for being a pigeon breeder. This habit is taking him away from worshiping Allah.'

'I begged them again to know where are they taking him, what are they going to do to him. They said he is going to be taken to be judged according to the Islamic Sharia.

'They pushed me, and when my son tried to stop them from pushing me they beat him. Then they put him inside the car and left.
