White House Confirms More Gitmo Transfers Before Obama Leaves Office

Why worry about Muslims being self-radicalized on the internet when Barry is unleashing seasoned killers upon the world? To be clear I was against Bush's 'catch and release program' as well. But you would think especially now with the eruption of terrorism going on here, and around the world, the last thing a sane president would do is release these animals to kill again.

This is the website for The Periodic Review Board. They decide what murdering Muslim to release next.

From what I can tell this is how it works.
Barry says he wants to release another slew of terrorists and they say okay.

-----------------------------------------

President Barack Obama will likely release more prisoners from the U.S. military prison in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, before incoming commander-in-chief Donald Trump takes over on January 20, the White House press secretary reiterated on Thursday.

That same day, reports confirmed that the U.S. transferred four detainees to Saudi Arabia.

The Daily Mail (Check out the scuzz-buckets about to be released) has placed the number of 11th-hour transfers at 22, including the four recently sent to Saudi Arabia, adding that the group of prisoners who are expected to be released will include jihadists who have threatened to behead and bomb Americans.

Prior to the Daily Mail article and recent transfers, the number of prisoners who are expected to be set free by the time Obama leaves the White House varied by news agencies, ranging from 17 to 19, a move that would reduce the current detainee population at the Guantánamo facility to between 40 and 42.

On Thursday, Josh Earnest, the White House spokesman, told reporters:

I am not able to speak to any specific detainee transfers between now and January 20th other than to confirm for you that there are likely to be some. And whenever those transfers take place, once they have been completed, we announce them publicly. And that will continue to be our approach through January 20th. And my expectation is that there will be some additional announcements of that type.

Asked about the risk of detainees re-engaging in terrorist activity against the United States, Earnest boasted that only nine of the prisoners transferred since Obama took office have been confirmed by the intelligence community as having returned to militant activity, compared to 21 percent (113 of 532) under the previous administration, a figure often touted by Democrats.

Only nine?... That they know of. What about the Taliban 5 for one swap? Did they convert to Presbyterianism?

However, Earnest failed to mention that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) figure (nine) that he highlights refers to re-engagements as of July 2016, when 161 detainees had been released by Obama, not the 183 he mentioned on Thursday.

The nine confirmed re-engagements includes one deceased detainee and accounts for six percent of the 161 prisoners who had been released under Obama as of July 2016.

Moreover, the number of prisoners released before 2009 exceeds those liberated under Obama more than three-fold (3.3), which may account for the higher rate of confirmed re-engagements under George W. Bush.

The White House spokesman attributed the low percentage of re-engagements under Obama to the president’s multi-agency parole-style panel, known as the Periodic Review Board (PRB), that has cleared for release all the prisoners transferred out after 2009, including so-called “forever prisoners,” or those believed to be too dangerous to release.

Controversial: The president - who was given a medal by Defense Secretary Ash Carter marking his years as commander in chief.

“Since President Obama took office, and since these reforms were initiated, nine detainees have been confirmed by the intelligence community of re-engaging in the fight,” Earnest said on Thursday. “Considering that we have released 183 detainees during President Obama’s time in office, a little back-of-the-envelope math would indicate that our percentage is much better, and it’s a result of the reforms that President Obama instituted on his first day in office.”

According to ODNI, 20 out of 161 detainees (12 percent) had been confirmed (nine) or suspected (11) to have returned to terrorist activities under Obama’s watch as of July 2016.

Under the Bush administration, 188 out of 532 (35 percent) are confirmed (113) or suspected (75) to have re-engaged in terrorism.

When taken as a whole, if there were 20 detainees confirmed or suspected to have re-engaged in terrorism for every 161 detainees released under Bush like during the Obama administration, the overall rate of terror returnees before 2009 would be closer to 40 percent, not 35.

In late December, the Chicago Tribune, citing U.S. officials, reported that the Obama administration has shared its plans with Congress to transfer out as many as 19 detainees held at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.

Of the 55 prisoners still held at Gitmo, 18 have been cleared for release by Obama’s PRB and more than half (27) are considered “forever prisoners,” or too dangerous to release.

Nevertheless, Obama has already released prisoners who had been designated too dangerous to release.

The remaining 10 prisoners are believed to still be undergoing war crimes proceedings at military commissions, including at least six who were facing death penalty tribunals as of late last year.

On Friday, the Pentagon announced that four detainees – Salem Ahmad Hadi Bin Kanad, Muhammed Rajab Sadiq Abu Ghanim, Abdallah Yahya Yusif Al-Shibli, and Muhammad Ali Abdallah Muhammad Bwazir – had been transferred to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

All four detainees are from war-ravaged Yemen, which shares a border with Saudi Arabia.

At least two individuals — Kanad and Ghanim — had been linked to the Taliban when they were apprehended and taken to the Guantánamo prison, also known as Gitmo.

Meanwhile, the al-Qaeda-linked Bwazir has been directly linked to Osama bin Laden.

Al-Shibli, also affiliated with al-Qaeda, was born in Saudi Arabia, but is a citizen of Yemen, according to the U.S. military.

In December 2007, the U.S. military deemed him “a HIGH risk, as he is likely to pose a threat to the US, its interests and allies.”

New Emails Show More 'Extremely Careless' Behavior by Clinton

And they blame Russian hackers for their loss?

According to this article, their own stupidity is to blame.

-----------------------------------

Hillary Clinton may be out of the spotlight for her email scandal now that the election’s over but more emails are coming out that offer additional examples of her being ‘extremely careless’ in handling sensitive information.

New emails released by the State Department Tuesday show Clinton and her aides exchanging talking points, schedules, and even passwords over her private server.

Many of the 371 emails posted on the State Department website had been partially released previously, and are separate from the hacked emails of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta posted by WikiLeaks before the election. Almost all the messages were partly or heavily redacted.

Among the items redacted -- yet still sent over email -- was Clinton's iPad password.

In an Aug. 20, 2012, conversation, Clinton’s closest aide, Huma Abedin, told her boss she had the iPad password reset. The device had previously given Clinton problems, though Abedin wrote that it’s “all good now.”

At the top of the message, Abedin typed out the entirety of the new password, which was redacted on the State Department release. Clinton responded later with even more information, noting that “I finally realized I had to add the [redacted] to the password!!!!”

They also shared detailed schedules and talking points ahead of meetings and calls with foreign leaders and top U.S. officials. Other emails revealed details about Justin Cooper, who helped set up her private server, as well as other Clinton relationships.

On Sept. 30, 2011 – the day American-born terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki was killed – Abedin emailed Clinton to say then-CIA Director David Petraeus wanted to talk on a secure connection. She added: “Assume it's about Awlaki.”

Other emails released Tuesday shed light on Clinton’s relationships.

In advance of a September 2012 meeting with the Sultan of Brunei – who would later impose Sharia law on his country – Abedin emailed Clinton that Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah hoped to have dinner with Clinton and her family.

“They say sultan sees wjc as part of his family and thus is treating you in this ‘informal’ way,” she wrote, using Bill Clinton’s initials.

On Dec. 24, 2011, Clinton emailed Chelsea Clinton, who was using a pseudonym revealed previously by WikiLeaks, asking “Who will provide tech support after Justin leaves,” ostensibly citing Cooper, who originally helped set up Clinton’s server and was typically called for any tech issues Clinton was experiencing.

“Let’s talk about this later – he’s actually supported by someone else too as a fyi,” Chelsea replied cryptically. “I think there are a couple options.”

While FBI Director James Comey fell short of indicting Clinton over her email scandal, he said in July she and her staff were "extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information."

GOP congressman takes down colleague's sponsored 'art' depicting police as pigs

A Republican congressman took matters into his own hands Friday and personally removed a painting depicting police officers as pigs that a colleague had allowed to be displayed at the U.S. Capitol complex.

“I was angry,” Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., told FoxNews.com. “I’ve seen the press [reporting] on this for about a week or so. … I’m in the Marine Corps. If you want it done, just call us.”

Hunter said he walked over to the artwork Friday morning with a few colleagues and unscrewed it. He then delivered it to the office of Rep. Lacy Clay, D-Mo., the congressman whose office had allowed the piece to be displayed. The painting, hanging since June, was done by a high school student who had won Clay’s annual Congressional Art competition.

The piece drew outrage, however, from law enforcement groups and fellow lawmakers.

As for whether the painting will stay down, Hunter said: “Lacy can put it back up, I guess, if he wants to … but I’m allowed to take it down.”

Clay’s office has not yet responded to a request from FoxNews.com for comment.

Lacy Clay

The guy with exquisite taste in art.

More than 27,000 law enforcement professionals had been protesting the display of what they called a “reprehensible, repugnant and repulsive” painting in the hallway of the Capitol.

After being told the piece was removed, Ron Hernandez, president of the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs, said in a statement Friday they were “very pleased.”

He said: “At a time of our country facing rising crime and a shortage of those willing to work the streets as police officers and deputy sheriffs, we need to make it clear that depictions of law enforcement officers as pigs in our Nation's Capital is not acceptable.”

The acrylic painting, which took first place in a congressional student art competition in St. Louis, depicts a police officer as a pig in uniform aiming a gun at African-American protesters. Above the scene, two birds -- one black, one white -- fight, and beside them, an African-American protester holding a scale of justice is crucified.

The art piece, “Untitled,” was created by then-Cardinal Ritter Prep senior David Pulphus, and was on display in the hallway between the Capitol and adjacent House office buildings. Clay’s office has said the teen who made the painting was speaking from his own life experience, considering where he lived and its location close to Ferguson, Mo.

Hunter said he’s friends with Clay, calling him a “great guy.”

Obama Family Building a Wall Around New Home

Walls are like borders.

Barry and the Pope are no border kind of guys. Till it comes to their own residence. Then the bullshit walks.

No borders are for the 'liberally stupid', for the peasants, not for the high and mighty who need certainty. I wonder if he'll import some illegals and unfettered Syrian refugees to live in his neighborhood? You know, to make him feel right at home.

My guess is no.

President Barack Obama will reportedly have a big, beautiful wall around his new home in Washington DC.

According to spy photos from TMZ, workers are currently building a brick wall around the rental home where the Obamas plan to live after leaving the White House.

The home was sold in 2014 for $5,295,000 and has 9 beds and 8.5 bathrooms. It has 8,200 square feet and was built in 1928.

The Obama family is expected to live in Washington D.C. while youngest daughter Sasha finishes school.

House overwhelmingly votes to condemn UN resolution on Israel settlements

When you sneak off to Hawaii to avoid the blowback this is what happens when you get back.

House votes 342-80 to rebuke the United Nations resolution criticizing Israeli settlements.

It's like Barry lives in his own delusional world.

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly voted Thursday to rebuke the United Nations for passing a resolution criticizing Israeli settlements.

Lawmakers voted 342-80 in favor of the bipartisan non-binding resolution, which declares unwavering support for Israel and insists that the United States reject any future U.N. actions that are similarly "one-sided and anti-Israel."

A visibly angry House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis. opened debate on the resolution by saying that the Obama administration "abandoned our ally Israel when she needed us the most."

"Do not be fooled," Ryan said. "This U.N. Security Council resolution ... was about one thing and one thing only. Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish, democratic state.

"These types of one-sided efforts are designed to isolate and delegitimize Israel. They do not advance peace, they make it more elusive."

The House measure divided Democrats, 109 of whom joined 233 Republicans in approving the measure. However, nearly 80 more opposed the measure because they said it contained inaccuracies and distorted the complexities of the Middle East peace process. They also accused Republicans of attacking Obama unfairly in the waning days of his presidency.

"The point of the measure seems to be to bash Obama on the way out," said Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va., who along with many other Democrats still voiced strong support for Israel. They said Obama deserved credit for engineering last year's new, long-term security agreement that gives Israel $38 billion in U.S. military aid, including $5 billion for missile defenses.

A similar bipartisan measure to reprimand the U.N. has been introduced in the Senate. "Israel is always the bad guy in the eyes of the United Nations," said Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., one of the measure's co-sponsors.

Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said the resolution "proved once again that the US-Israel alliance is based not only on shared interests, but also on shared values ... This special relationship has endured the test of time and I have no doubt that it will continue to be strengthened in the future."

Israel and its supporters lashed out at Obama for his decision to abstain and allow the U.N. Security Council to approve in December a resolution calling Israel's settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem "a flagrant violation under international law."

Although the U.S. is opposed to the settlements, it has traditionally used its veto power as a permanent member of the Security Council to scuttle resolutions that condemn Israel. Disputes between Israel and the Palestinians must be resolved through direct negotiations, according to longstanding practice and policy.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister, accused Obama of a "shameful ambush" and said he was looking forward to working with Trump, whom he described as his friend.

But Secretary of State John Kerry said in a late December speech that the U.S. was standing up for a two-state solution when it abstained on the resolution. He criticized Israel for settlement building and blamed Netanyahu for dragging Israel away from democracy.

Kerry said expanding Israeli settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem are leading to an "irreversible one-state reality."

The Palestinians seek the West Bank and east Jerusalem, territories captured by Israel in the 1967 war, for an independent state. They say that Israeli settlements in these areas, now home to about 600,000 Israelis, are threatening their plans for independence by taking in lands where they hope to establish their state.

The U.N. resolution, along with Kerry's speech, essentially endorsed the Palestinian position by calling for the pre-1967 lines to serve as the reference point for a final border.

Netanyahu, who opposes a return to the 1967 lines, has condemned the moves as "skewed" and "shameful."

Rep. Ed Royce, R-Calif., the Republican chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., the panel's top Democrat, sponsored the House measure. The U.N. resolution "undermines the prospect for Israelis and Palestinians resuming productive, direct negotiations," according to their legislation, and should be "repealed or fundamentally altered."

Attention from the move by the U.N. last month could provide fuel for pro-Israel initiatives favored by conservatives on Capitol Hill. For example, a small group of Republican senators is proposing to withhold 50 percent of the State Department's 2017 budget until the U.S. Embassy in Israel is moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. During the campaign, President-elect Donald Trump promised to shift the embassy.

But a spokesman for Jordan's government told The Associated Press on Thursday that the embassy move would be a "red line" for Jordan and "inflame the Islamic and Arab streets." Jordan serves as custodian of a major Islamic shrine in east Jerusalem and the Palestinians seek a capital there.

Snopes rates this as: UNPROVEN

On a tip from Ed Kilbane

Must mean it's true!

Subject: HILLARY CLINTON

This is not a pleasant email and there is nothing to gloat about only thanks to God that someone like Hillary never became President.

DUMPED ON PROM
NIGHT" HILLARY'S ELECTION NIGHT MELTDOWN.

Hillary Clinton’s night on the 9th of November went from a
celebration to an absolute meltdown once the election unexpectedly
turned on her, leaving Trump as the victor. Some of the remnants of
Hillary Clinton’s rampage in the private VIP area was discovered by
the hotel custodial staff the day following the
election.

Hillary Clinton’s post election celebration plans included
hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of fireworks, live performances by
various celebrities, such as Cher, who came believing that Hillary
was going to win the election, a five-hundred-thousand-dollar
special effect glass ceiling that she would break through in a
dramatic display once she walked out on stage at her H.Q., among
millions of dollars worth of other celebratory preparations, all
paid for by the Clinton Foundation in full.

The most notable damage was located deep in the VIP room of the
Clinton camp. A custom 150 inch ultra HD TV, a gift from the Saudi Arabian
government, was found with a broken screen. The damage was caused by
a $950,000 bottle of champagne that was believed to have been thrown
at the screen by the former presidential candidate some time during
the election.

Early in the morning, the custodial staff were greeted by
flipped-over tables as the floors were covered with expensive food, drinks, and appetizers.
Broken champagne flutes and gilded silverware were also seen
scattered around the would-be party room.

The most telling sign of a massive meltdown was the cake. The
pastry that had once proudly displayed the presidential seal, was
violently flung against the walls in chunks. A broken topper from
the cake in the shape of the white house was discovered lodged
firmly into the drywall near the dessert table.

Clinton’s splurge on party supplies was merely an echo of all the
left-leaning polls and hype that "confirmed" Hillary Clinton's indubitable win.
Misled by just about every prediction, Hillary Clinton personally
planned one big party for her assumed victory. Once it became clear
that it would not be Clinton's night, however, the mood of the party
soured rapidly.

A former staffer, who was fired during the rampage, said that the
atmosphere around Clinton went from "queen of the hour" to "the girl who was
dumped on prom night" in only a few moments.

Report: Hillary Became “Physically Violent After She Realized She Had Lost
the Election Clinton had to be "briefly restrained" after trying to attack her own campaign staff.

Paul Joseph Watson -
November 15, 2016

Hillary Clinton reportedly became “physically violent” towards
her own campaign staff after she realized she had lost the presidential
election, according to radio host Todd Kincannon. “CNN reporter
tells me Hillary became physically violent towards Robby Mook and
John Podesta around midnight; had to be briefly restrained,” tweeted
Kincannon.

It was Podesta who was sent out to talk to Hillary’s dejected
supporters shortly before Hillary called Donald Trump to concede, with Clinton nowhere
to be seen until the following day.

When asked about rumors that Hillary was drunk on election night,
Kincannon responded, “She was. I posted about that too. She was in a
“psychotic drunken rage” according to my reporter friend. Doctor
added sedatives to the mix.”

Kincannon then claimed that CNN blocked the reporter from publishing
what would have been a bombshell story. “The CNN reporter didn’t fail to
report it. His editors will not let him. CNN has banned all
“Hillary in the bunker” stories,” he tweeted.

Secret Service officials and other staff who worked closely
alongside Hillary have previously reported her problems with angry tantrums on
numerous occasions. Last year it was also reported that Clinton’s
own campaign staffers feared she could have a serious meltdown and
that Hillary had “been having screaming, child-like tantrums
that have left staff members in tears and unable to work.” In
addition to claims that she became irate, author Ed Klein said a
source told him Hillary cried inconsolably to a friend after
the results came in, blaming FBI director Comey and President Barack
Obama for not doing enough to stop the FBI investigation into her
email scandal.

Delusional Valerie Jarrett claims president 'hasn't had a scandal'

Barack Obama's closest adviser said Sunday that the outgoing president has led a scandal-free administration – a statement that drew howls from conservatives.

Valerie Jarrett made that claim despite the nation's years-long focus on embarrassing episodes like the Operation Fast & Furious 'gunwalking' program, the swap of U.S. Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl for five high-risk Taliban terror suspects, and a laundry list of other deadly and politically damaging public controversies.

'The president prides himself on the fact that his administration hasn't had a scandal and he hasn't done something to embarrass himself,' she said in an interview broadcast Sunday on CNN's 'Fareed Zakaria GPS.'

You know, like Solyndra, drawing a red line, stabbing Israel in the back, paving the way for Iranian nukes, instrumental in the Muslim Brotherhood takeover in Egypt, etc.

He didn't do any of that.

'That's because that's who he is – that's who they are – and I think that's what really resonates with the American people,' Jarrett continued.

Lucky for her FOX was able to improve her recollection.

A Fox news host did 'seven seconds' of research and came up with a quick scandal list.

Any question why she is Barry's closest adviser?

President Barack Obama reflected upon his accomplishments over the past eight years in a series of thoughtful tweets Sunday as he wished his fellow Americans a Happy New Year.

Obama praised the American people for the 'remarkable progress' they have 'made possible' during his two presidential terms. He pointed out how employment and healthcare have improved under his administration and mentioned clean energy, marriage equality and diplomacy.

'It’s been the privilege of my life to serve as your President. I look forward to standing with you as a citizen. Happy New Year everybody,' Obama wrote in the last tweet of the series.

The president's message contrasts with Donald Trump's choice of words for his own New Year tweet. The tycoon chose to taunt his political 'enemies' in a boastful tweet, saying Democrats 'had lost so badly they just don't know what to do'.

Obama praised the American people for the 'remarkable progress' they have 'made possible' during his two presidential terms

Obama invited his followers to begin 2017 by thinking about the changes his presidency have brought.

'As we look ahead to the future, I wanted to take a moment to look back on the remarkable progress that you made possible these past 8 years,' he wrote.

'Facing the worst financial crisis in 80 years, you delivered the longest streak of job growth in our history,' the president tweeted with an accompanying graph.

He reminded his followers that the number of Americans without health insurance had hit an all-time low in 2016, falling at 8.9 per cent.

'We traded foreign oil for clean energy, we doubled fuel efficiency standards, & we acted on a global scale to save the one planet we've got,' his next tweet read.

Obama said his administration had 'strengthened US leadership' and brought home some of its troops.

'From realizing marriage equality to removing barriers to opportunity, we've made history in our work to reaffirm that all are created equal,' he wrote.
