Remember these two in the news recently?

They said their 3-year-old daughter allegedly drowned in the bathtub after authorities say they found the child’s remains in a container full of acid.

This is how NBC and most news outlets reported it.

Monica Dominguez, 37, and Gerardo Zavala Loredo, 32, were arrested in relation to the death of their 3-year-old daughter Rebecca Zavala. They both face charges of evidence tampering, endangering a child and abuse of a corpse.

Police responded to the parents’ apartment Thursday afternoon after receiving an anonymous tip. When authorities searched the home, they found a bucket with human remains hidden inside one of the bedroom closets.

Dominguez allegedly told officers Rebecca drowned while she was under no adult supervision. Both parents then attempted to dispose of the 3-year-old’s body by putting it inside a container full of acid, authorities say.

The couple has four other children, all of whom have been turned over to Child Protective Services.

As you can see there's no mention Gerardo Zavala Loredo is here illegally. Bias by omission. Why? If they mentioned he was illegal they would be playing right into Trump's hands.

Mom and Illegal Immigrant Dad Put Toddler’s Remains in Acid, Say Texas Police

Police in Laredo, Texas, arrested the parents of a three-year-old girl and charged them with trying to dispose of the child’s remains in a bucket filled with acid. Immigration officers also placed a detainer on the father who is allegedly in the U.S. illegally.

Laredo Police Department investigators arrested Monica Dominguez and Gerardo Zavala-Loredo, an illegal immigrant, for allegedly placing their three-year-old daughter’s body in a bucket filled with acid after she reportedly drowned. The arrest followed an anonymous tip, KTRK ABC-13 reported.

The parents told the investigators their daughter drowned “without adult supervision,” the news outlet reported. Police found the girl’s body in a bucket hidden in one of the home’s bedroom closets. The couple allegedly said they put the girl in acid to dispose of her remains.

“As you can imagine, it’s very difficult for all of us in law enforcement and for the first responders to be in a situation to come across a scene like we did yesterday,” Laredo and Webb County District Attorney Isidro Alaniz told reporters in a press conference.

The ABC affiliate reported that a court previously placed Dominguez, the child’s mother, on probation on a charge of injury to a child. Officials said this arrest will violate her probation terms.

The district attorney’s office charged both parents with evidence tampering, endangering a child, and abuse of a corpse. Judge Leticia Martinez set bond for the mother at $175,000. Zavala-Loredo received a $125,000 bond. However, an immigration detainer filed by U.S. Immigration and Customs officers will prevent the release of Zavala-Loredo.

Breitbart News reached out to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials for additional information about the father’s immigration history. A response was not immediately available. Officials previously told Breitbart News that the issuance of an immigration detainer is an indicator of an illegal alien status.

Both parents remain in the custody of the Webb County Sheriff’s Office as of now.

The couple has four other children who are now in the custody of Texas CPS.

The investigation into the death of the three-year-old girl remains open.

Detained Mexican migrant dies in Texas hospital

The man's death is at least the third involving a detainee since December and could renew questions about the care of people in Border Patrol custody.

MCALLEN, Texas — A Mexican man detained by Border Patrol for illegal re-entry died Monday at a hospital in Texas.

----------------------

Ok...let's pause right here. Read the article below then connect the dots. This is a non-story NBC had to put to good use. Of course, they had to subtlety implicate the border patrol in the illegal's death (if he wasn't in their custody he would still be alive). And the frosting on the cake? Add a photo of Trump and mention he's getting sued for declaring a national emergency. They gloss over the fact the illegal had cirrhosis of the liver and congestive heart failure. Which I'm sure he contracted from Trump and the border patrol after he was arrested.

Oh...and this is just one of a few suspicious deaths perpetrated by the border patrol in the last few months. I swear a bus could run over an illegal in Tijuana tomorrow and somehow they'll link it to Trump!

-----------------------

The 45-year-old man, who was not immediately identified, was initially apprehended Feb. 2 by police in the Texas border community of Roma and requested medical attention, U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Andrew Meehan said in a statement. He was taken to a medical center in McAllen and later cleared to return to the Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station.

The next day, he requested medical attention again and was taken to the hospital where he stayed until he died Monday.

Meehan said the official cause of death is not yet known, but the medical center diagnosed him with cirrhosis of the liver and congestive heart failure when he was admitted. The death is under investigation.

"This loss of life is tragic," Meehan said. "Our condolences go out to the family and loved ones. CBP remains committed to ensuring the safe and humane treatment of those within the care of our custody.”

16 states sue Trump over national emergency to fund the wall

The man's death is at least the third involving a detainee since December and could renew questions about the care of people in Border Patrol custody and how well authorities are prepared to deal with such emergencies.

A 7-year-old Guatemalan girl died from sepsis shock on Dec. 8, the Department of Homeland Security said, two days after she and her father were picked up by U.S. authorities in a remote stretch of the New Mexico desert.

According to DHS, the father initially said that neither he nor his daughter were sick and that they were given water, food, and access to bathrooms. But on the trip to a border patrol station, the girl became ill and began vomiting, the father said.

In another case on Christmas Eve, an 8-year-old Guatemalan boy suffering from the flu died in U.S. custody in New Mexico — about a week after he and his father were apprehended at the border. Critics said Border Patrol should have had pediatricians or trained staff that could have better attended to the boy.

The Trump administration's handling of migrants at the border took a new turn last week, when President Donald Trump declared a national emergency to fulfill his promise of completing a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Sixteen states filed a lawsuit Monday against the emergency declaration.

The move allows the president to bypass Congress to use money from the Pentagon and other budgets.

For the reason Carson indicated, I haven't watched the Tonight Show since Leno and SNL since Joe Piscopo was a regular. Every one of the late night shows is no longer about entertainment...there all about promoting a liberal agenda.

Anthony Weiner spotted picking up food after prison release

The New York Post

Anthony Weiner has gone from hard time to a Bronx halfway house after being convicted for sexting an underage girl.

But even a registered sex offender’s got to eat — and The Post was there Sunday as Weiner popped outside his new Bronx digs to grab a delivery order.

Wearing his signature Mets baseball cap, the 54-year-old disgraced ex-congressman — who served 15 months of a 21-month federal prison sentence for sexting with the 15-year-old — briefly exited to greet a food deliveryman ferrying his $22.50 order.

He’ll serve out the next three months in the Bronx facility before being released outright in May with an accumulated three months off for good behavior.

On the menu for Weiner was hearty Italian fare from Brother’s Pizza a few blocks away. He ordered a $9.50 dish of homemade lasagna and $10 penne alla vodka with grilled chicken, along with two Snapples at $1.50 apiece to wash it all down.

“Hold on a second here. Hold on a second. They’re in here?” Weiner grilled the deliveryman around 2 p.m. after he was handed a large pizza box and brown paper bag with straws poking out at the door of the GEO Care Inc., facility in Fordham Heights.

“Everything’s in there,” the worker answered.

But he could be in hot water for the Sunday feast — the food exchange took place right next to a sign that reads in all caps: “You May Not Bring Food or Beverages Into This Facility. Stop. No Exceptions!!”

After grabbing his food, Weiner couldn’t beat it fast enough.

“How you doing, buddy? Not allowed to talk, I’m sorry, my friend,” he told a Post reporter with a meek smile before ducking back inside.

The former politician left a paltry $2.50 tip on his online order, employees said.

The convicted pervert — dressed in a blue fleece zip-up and baggy navy sweatpants — spent the bulk of his sentence at the Federal Medical Center in Devens, Mass.

But Federal Bureau of Prisons records show he was transferred from the lockup to the halfway house, one of many facilities across the nation under the Residential Reentry Management program.

Before Weiner emerged from the halfway house, his visibly impatient deliveryman — ironically named Carlos, given Weiner’s sexting alter-ego was “Carlos Danger” — paced back and forth while calling the fallen politician repeatedly and asking passersby how to get in.

A restaurant receipt obtained by The Post showed no name on Weiner’s order — just an address, phone number and direction to “ring the silver buzzer.”

“He wasn’t answering his phone,” Carlos later groused about Weiner, saying he had no idea he was delivering to the infamous sex addict.

“He’s a f–king pervert,” Carlos said after being told.

The food worker said that after he completed the delivery, Weiner was so clueless that he rang him back.

“He was like, ‘You called?’ ” Carlos recalled.

Weiner is set to be released from federal custody May 14, thanks to good conduct behind bars that shaved about three months off his sentence.

His political career flamed out starting in 2011, when he resigned from Congress after being forced to admit sending lewd photos to women he’d met online.

Two years later, his comeback bid for mayor was torpedoed by revelations he sexted with a woman under the pseudonym “Carlos Danger.”

His creepy behavior took a more disturbing turn in 2016 when he started up an online relationship with the teen — despite knowing full well that she was underage.

The fall from grace was capped in May 2017, when he pleaded guilty to exchanging X-rated texts with the North Carolina teen.

“I have a sickness, but I do not have an excuse,” Weiner sobbed in court at the time.

After the halfway house, Weiner will spend three years on supervised release, pay a $10,000 fine and register as a sex offender.

Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, Weiner’s wife and the mother of their young son, filed for divorce just hours after he pleaded guilty. Abedin later withdrew the petition to settle matters out of court.

Neither BOP nor Weiner’s or Abedin’s lawyers returned messages seeking comment.

An employee at the halfway house feigned ignorance when asked about Weiner’s stay — after he was spotted there.

“Who?” she said, before slamming the phone.
