The persecution of Donald J. Trump

Let's face it.  The snarling liberal wolfpack is out in full force. I don't care where you turn. The internet, MSM news, SNL, Kimmel, Colbert, and the rest of Hollywood foaming at the mouth, gnawing on, and twisting everything Trump says and does.

I agree. And the proof is in the pudding.

Byron York: Harvard study: CNN, NBC Trump coverage 93 percent negative

Byron YorkMay 19, 2017, 3:21 PM

How negative was press coverage of President Trump's first 100 days in office? Far more than that of Barack Obama, George W. Bush, or Bill Clinton, according to a new report from the Harvard Kennedy School's Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy.

The Harvard scholars analyzed the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and the main newscasts (not talk shows) of CBS, CNN, Fox and NBC during Trump's initial time in office. They found, to no one's surprise, that Trump absolutely dominated news coverage in the first 100 days. And then they found that news coverage was solidly negative — 80 percent negative among those outlets studied, versus 20 percent positive.

The numbers for previous presidents: Barack Obama, 41 percent negative, 59 percent positive; George W. Bush, 57 percent negative, 43 percent positive; and Bill Clinton, 60 percent negative, 40 percent positive.

Accusations of bias aside, it's simply a fact that a number of negative things happened in Trump's opening 100 days. The Russia investigation, for example, was a source of endless criticism from Democrats and other Trump opponents. The travel ban executive order led to intense argument and losses for the administration in the courts. The healthcare debacle created more negative coverage because it was a major screwup and a setback for both Trump and House Republicans.

That said, the coverage of some news organizations was so negative, according to the Harvard study, that it seems hard to argue that the coverage was anywhere near a neutral presentation of facts. Assessing the tone of news coverage, the Harvard researchers found that CNN's Trump coverage was 93 percent negative, and seven percent positive. The researchers found the same numbers for NBC.

Others were slightly less negative. The Harvard team found that CBS coverage was 91 percent negative and 9 percent positive. New York Times coverage was 87 percent negative and 13 percent positive. Washington Post coverage was 83 percent negative and 17 percent positive. Wall Street Journal coverage was 70 percent negative and 30 percent positive. And Fox News coverage also leaned to the negative, but only slightly: 52 percent negative to 48 percent positive.

Ninety-three percent negative — that's a lot by anybody's standards. "CNN and NBC's coverage was the most unrelenting — negative stories about Trump outpaced positive ones by 13-to-1 on the two networks," the study noted. "Trump's coverage during his first 100 days set a new standard for negativity."

The Harvard study had plenty of criticism for Trump. "Never in the nation's history," the authors wrote, "has the country had a president with so little fidelity to the facts, so little appreciation for the dignity of the presidential office, and so little understanding of the underpinnings of democracy."

But the authors made clear that journalists are very much part of the problem. "At the same time, the news media need to give Trump credit when his actions warrant it," the study said:

The public's low level of confidence in the press is the result of several factors, one of which is a belief that journalists are biased. That perception weakens the press's watchdog role. One of the more remarkable features of news coverage of Trump's first 100 days is that it has changed few minds about the president, for better or worse. The nation's watchdog has lost much of its bite and won't regain it until the public perceives it as an impartial broker, applying the same reporting standards to both parties. The news media's exemplary coverage of Trump's cruise missile strike on Syria illustrates the type of even-handedness that needs to be consistently and rigorously applied.

The Harvard team is undoubtedly now studying coverage of Trump's second 100 days. (They issued reports on key periods in the presidential campaign, as well.) The question is, will anything change?

Trump arrives in Saudi Arabia first presidential trip abroad

The word 'fracking' was never brought up but that won't stop CNN.

Tomorrow's Headline:

Sources Say Trump Promised Saudi's He Would End Fracking

Sources close to CNN (The guy in the newsroom whispered in their ear) reported President Trump made a deal with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud to stop fracking giving the Saudi's the green light to increase oil prices and burden Americans who...

I guarantee you when this trip is over ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, The NYT's, in others words the entire MSM, will not have one positive comment but had it been Barry doing exactly the same thing they'd be gushing over it.

I'm going to focus on the more positive aspects of the trip.

As opposed to this.

Don't hold your breath waiting for BLM to show up

3 Mississippi teens face capital murder charges in killing of 6-year-old boy

“All they had to do is let this kid off on the side of the road, at a grocery store, at a church, anywhere else, but they chose to kill the kid,” a sheriff spokesman said, according to The New York Times.

Three young Mississippi men on Thursday were arrested hours after a 6-year-old boy was found shot dead in his mother's stolen car and the suspects will be charged with capital murder, authorities said.

Madison County District Attorney Michael Guest announced at a news conference that authorities plan to charge Byron McBride, D'Allen Washington and Dwan Wakefield in the death of the child.

Authorities found Kingston Frazier shot at least once in the back seat of his mother's stolen car, which Jackson Police Cmdr. Tyree Jones said was abandoned in a muddy ditch about 15 miles north of the Kroger parking lot where he was taken.

“All they had to do is let this kid off on the side of the road, at a grocery store, at a church, anywhere else, but they chose to kill the kid,” a sheriff spokesman said, according to The New York Times.

This was an absolute senseless murder of a 6-year-old boy by three animals.
Because of their skin color, they are immune from the wrath of BLM. It wouldn't be a leap to say BLM defends black on black crime the most popular in the black community. Check the statistics. Black on black crime is out of control when compared to white on black crime. BLM is more concerned about an ingrown toenail ignoring the bigger picture of pancreatic cancer in their community.

Frazier had gone missing after 1 a.m. Thursday when a man was seen on video taking the car from the parking lot of a supermarket in Jackson, the state capital, according to authorities.

The mother, Ebony Archie, left the boy in the car, its engine running, while she went inside the supermarket early Thursday, sheriff's deputies have said.

The store's parking lot is patrolled by sheriff's deputies, including one in a golf cart. She reportedly collapsed after learning her child was killed. She was carried outside the district attorney’s office by a family member.

About nine hours after the boy was reported missing, a man reported the missing Toyota Camry was beside a dead-end road in the northern suburb of Gluckstadt.

Security video shows that after Archie left, another car drove up and a man got out and then drove off in the Camry.

A child abduction alert was played repeatedly Thursday on local newscasts and police and family members issued public appeals for help.

"We've been looking for him for nine hours in every neighborhood in Jackson," said Deanna Moore, the boy's aunt. Addressing those who took the car, she added, "You could have just dropped him off."

Authorities publicly disclosed the boy's death Thursday morning while surrounded by grieving family members.

"A 6-year-old is gone," said Kingston's cousin, Kolby Irby. "His mother has to deal with this. That's her baby."

The three suspects were arrested within hours of the child's body being found, authorities said, adding video and a witness helped identify them.

Authorities said Washington and Wakefield are both 17. McBride's age was not immediately released.

In Mississippi, 17-year-olds accused of capital murder are tried as adults. The capital murder charge means prosecutors could seek the death penalty if the three are convicted, Guest said.

The district attorney also said it was possible the charges might change, adding the three are expected to make initial court appearances on Monday.

One lawyer said he is not yet officially representing one of them and declined requests for comment. Guest said the other two do not yet have lawyers.

Authorities did not answer questions at the news conference with reporters, and it's unclear what role each of the three suspects is alleged to have played.

Wakefield was a quarterback last year at a high school in Madison County, north of Jackson, county Superintendent Ronnie McGehee told The Clarion-Ledger.McGehee also said Wakefield had been dismissed from the team but didn't elaborate.

The child's body was taken for an autopsy at the state crime lab and the car was towed away by police as they continue to investigate.

Robert Mueller appointed special counsel in the Trump-Russia investigation

This guy is unbiased? Remember the IRS scandal?

Jim Jordan makes Mueller look like the absolute liberal fool he really is! He doesn't know shit because an investigation never took place. Probably under a direct order from Barry. To this day not one TeaPartier targeted by the IRS was ever interviewed by the FBI.

After watching this brilliant performance Mueller is either incredibly stupid or working for the enemy. I'm going with both. How confident are you in Mueller's ability to conduct an impartial investigation of Trump?

Perry Mason, he's not.

MSM..."Comey's a scrupulous note taker"

Okay, Comey has been chastised intensely by both Democrats and Republicans. It wasn't until Trump fired him when he suddenly became the next American Idol in the liberal mindset. Even Killary added him to her Christmas card emailing mailing list. The NYT's broke the story.

So the next question is (I didn't think this up I heard it on the news...God I sound like Barry) if Trump tried to curry special favor with Comey to drop the Flynn/Russia investigation several months ago and Comey's reputation and integrity are beyond reproach why are we just hearing about this now?

One of these 3 is a liar.

Seriously, who had access to doling out information on Trump’s meeting with the Russians and leaked it to WAPO? They can’t track the number of people (probably no more than 6 or 8… if they're smart) who were present? Have they ever heard about the process of elimination?

BTW… wasn’t it the Russians who warned us about the Tsarnaev brothers and no one took heed.

How can this ‘SECURITY BREECH’ possibly compare with Barry’s deal with the Iranian dogs?

McCain: Trump scandals reaching 'Watergate size and scale'

Arizona Sen. John McCain (R) reportedly said Tuesday that scandals within President Trump's administration are reaching a "Watergate-size and scale."

McCain made the statement at a International Republican Institute dinner on Tuesday night. Multiple reporters said that during a speech at the event, McCain compared recent reports surrounding Trump's administration to Watergate.

McCain's statement came just hours after a bombshell report that Trump asked former FBI Director James Comey inFebruary to stop his investigation of former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Trump has faced a major fallout over the last week following his surprise firing of Comey and reports that he revealed highly confidential information to Russian diplomats.

McCain also reportedly criticized Trump during his speech, calling it "unacceptable" to have allowed Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov into the Oval Office.

Israeli minister reportedly says it is time to assassinate Syria's Assad

I've been saying this for years.

From my April post after Trump bombed Syria for gassing its own children.

There is really only one solution here. Bashar al-Assad and his entire family have to die. Yes, I said his entire family including the bitch he calls a wife. If this does not occur all we'll do is perpetuate the situation.

That little bastard you see above is responsible for 400,000 dead and the reason Europe is flooded with millions of Muslims.

The image of seven dead children who were gassed in Syria. Frozen in time, eyes open, with not a mark on them.

Do you see any similarities between Hitler and Assad?

Published May 17, 2017

An Israeli minister under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that, based on recent reports of new atrocities, it is time to "eliminate (President) Assad."

“The reality of the situation today in Syria, in which they are executing people, using chemical attacks against them, and the latest extreme measure -- burning their corpses, something which we haven’t seen in 70 years in this world -- we’re crossing a red line,” Housing and Construction Minister Yoav Gallant said Tuesday at a military conference, Bloomberg reported. “In my opinion, it’s time to eliminate Assad.”

Netanyahu’s office did not respond to Bloomberg for comment. Gallant reportedly made the remark a day after reports emerged about Assad’s regime possibly using a crematorium at a prison near Damascus as a venue for mass killings.

Stuart Jones, the acting assistant secretary for Near Eastern Affairs, showed surveillance photos that -- combined with intelligence assessments and other reports -- officials believe show Bashar Assad’s government is complicit in covering up evidence of mass killings at the Sednaya Prison. Located near Damascus, the prison previously has been called a "human slaughterhouse" by Amnesty International.

“Although the regime's many atrocities are well-documented, we believe that the building of a crematorium is an effort to cover up the extent of mass murders taking place in Sednaya prison,” Jones said Monday.

Jones also charged that the “atrocities” were carried out “with unconditional support” from Russia and Iran.

Amnesty International has previously called Sednaya a “human slaughterhouse,” estimating 13,000 people were killed there from 2011-2015. It is believed Assad's regime kidnapped more than 100,000 people during that time.

In presenting the photographs, Jones said Syrian President Assad's government "has sunk to a new level of depravity" with the support of Russia and Iran and called on both countries to use its influence with Syria to establish a credible ceasefire and begin political talks.

The Hillinator

She was in the woods.

But now the resurrection of Hillary has taken place. And it's something you don't want to see!

Hillary Clinton launches Onward Together PAC

That's right folks her last epic fail STRONGER TOGETHER  has had a facelift and will now be known as ONWARD TOGETHER.

My unnamed sources tell me Brian Pagliano has already been tapped to set up her new email server.

--------------------------------------

Hillary Clinton officially jumped back into politics Monday by launching her new PAC, Onward Together.

The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee and former secretary of state announced the news on Twitter and in a blast email to supporters pushing people to sign up.

“Resist, insist, persist, enlist,” says a message on the organization's homepage.

“Onward Together is dedicated to advancing the vision that earned nearly 66 million votes in the last election,” the PAC’s mission statement says. “By encouraging people to organize, get involved, and run for office, Onward Together will advance progressive values and work to build a brighter future for generations to come.”

The Republican National Committee fired back at Clinton with a statement of its own.

"The American people rejected Hillary Clinton six months ago because she's completely out-of-touch, untrustworthy, and embraced the failed policies of the past," RNC spokesman Michael Ahrens said. "If Democrats were smart, they’d realize it’s time to move onward from Hillary Clinton altogether.”

In her email, Clinton framed the group as a vehicle to "resist" unspecified opponents -- she did not name the Trump administration, but referenced protests against its policies.

“In recent months, we’ve seen what’s possible when people come together to resist bullying, hate, falsehoods, and divisiveness, and stand up for a fairer, more inclusive America,” Clinton emailed. “From the Women’s March to airports where communities are welcoming immigrants and refugees to town hall meetings in every community, Americans are speaking up and speaking out like never before.”

Clinton specifically said the PAC would back groups like Swing Left, Color of Change, and Emerge America, and tweeted, “stay tuned for more to come.”

“This year hasn’t been what I envisioned, but I know what I’m still fighting for: a kinder, big-hearted, inclusive America. Onward!” Clinton tweeted.

Somehow in their twisted mind, there's a definite distinction between 'undocumented' and 'illegal'. If you apply their logic to Aaron Hernandez he's not dead... he's deceased.

Clinton has spoken out repeatedly about her defeat by Donald Trump in last year's election. At a women's conference earlier this month, she blamed former FBI Director James Comey and Russian interference for the loss, while also saying she took "absolute personal responsibility" for her defeat.

"If the election were on October 27," she said. "I'd be your president."

(If they don't investigate the Clinton Foundation)

FBI Agents FURIOUS: Comey ‘Stood In The Way’ Of Clinton Email Investigation

FBI agent:

"The idea that [the Clinton/e-mail case] didn't go to a grand jury is ridiculous."

Connect the dots.

1. Clinton states I never sent or received classified information. We now know that was a lie.

2. Bill 'accidentally' meets Lynch on the tarmac.

3. Lynch announces, "I'll accept whatever the FBI recommends".
(Strange...she doesn't take orders from the FBI)

4. After Comey's blistering dissertation on Clinton's emails, he took the unprecedented step in his final summation... (This is when my jaw dropped) "Our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case." That is not his call but used it anyway to absolve Clinton, the FBI, and the DOJ.

Result:

Clinton email scandal fixed. Like slipping your hand in a well-fitting glove.

FBI agents say the bureau is alarmed over Director James Comey deciding not to suggest that the Justice Department prosecute Hillary Clinton over her mishandling of classified information.

According to an interview transcript given to The Daily Caller, provided by an intermediary who spoke to two federal agents with the bureau last Friday, agents are frustrated by Comey's leadership.

"This is a textbook case where a grand jury should have convened but was not. That is appalling," an FBI special agent who has worked public corruption and criminal cases said of the decision. "We talk about it in the office and don't know how Comey can keep going."

The agent was also surprised that the bureau did not bother to search Clinton's house during the investigation.

"We didn't search their house. We always search the house. The search should not just have been for private electronics, which contained classified material, but even for printouts of such material," he said.

"There should have been a complete search of their residence," the agent pointed out. "That the FBI did not seize devices is unbelievable. The FBI even seizes devices that have been set on fire."

Another special agent for the bureau that worked counter-terrorism and criminal cases said he is offended by Comey's saying: "we" and "I've been an investigator."

After graduating from law school, Comey became a law clerk to a U.S. District Judge in Manhattan and later became an associate in a law firm in the city. After becoming a U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, Comey's career moved through the U.S. Attorney's Office until he became Deputy Attorney General during the George W. Bush administration.

After Bush left office, Comey entered the private sector and became general counsel and Senior Vice President for Lockheed Martin, among other private sector posts. President Barack Obama appointed him to FBI director in 2013 replacing out going-director Robert Mueller.

"Comey was never an investigator or special agent. The special agents are trained investigators and they are insulted that Comey included them in 'collective we' statements in his testimony to imply that the SAS agreed that there was nothing there to prosecute," the second agent said. "All the trained investigators agree that there is a lot to prosecuted but he stood in the way."

He added, "The idea that [the Clinton/e-mail case] didn't go to a grand jury is ridiculous."

According to Washington D.C. attorney Joe DiGenova, more FBI agents will be talking about the problems at the bureau and specifically the handling of the Clinton case by Comey when Congress comes back into session and decides to force them to testify by subpoena.

DiGenova told WMAL radio's Drive at Five last week, "People are starting to talk. They're calling their former friends outside the bureau asking for help. We were asked today to provide legal representation to people inside the bureau and agreed to do so and to former agents who want to come forward and talk. Comey thought this was going to go away."

He explained, "It's not. People inside the bureau are furious. They are embarrassed. They feel like they are being led by a hack but more than that that they think he's a crook. They think he's fundamentally dishonest. They have no confidence in him. The bureau inside right now is a mess."

He added, "The most important thing of all is that the agents have decided that they are going to talk."
