Fido...It's What's For Dinner

In Dreams of My Father — the book that all the "Hopey- Changey's" swore they read cover to cover back in 2007 — Obama discusses some of the food he ate as a young boy living in Indonesia:

Gives new meaning to this PETA ad

"I learned how to eat small green chili peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy). Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share."

Our first Muslim president.
He's the best impostor we've ever had.

Islam has an aversion against pork claiming  it's "unclean" but has no problem  with eating dogs. I wonder if you eat Free-Range-Terrier for dinner if you wake up with dog breath in the morning?

Hushpuppies anyone?
