Killer David Bonola who murdered Orsolya Gaal in country illegally

The handyman accused of killing Queens mom Orsolya Gaal was living here illegally, The Post has learned.
David Bonola, a 44-year-old Mexican national, entered the US from Mexico about 21 years ago, according to the NYPD – and law-enforcement sources revealed Friday that he was living in New York in violation of immigration law when busted Wednesday for Gaal’s horrific slaying.
“One more person that ought not to be here in the first place committing a crime,” City Councilman Joe Borelli (R-SI) seethed to The Post.
The NYPD, asked about Bonola’s immigration status Friday, declined comment, saying it had no information.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Bonola had originally entered the country legally or ever had any type of lawful status in the US.
But Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed to The Post that it has lodged a detainer with Queens Central Booking, where Bonola currently is.
“ICE focuses its civil immigration enforcement priorities on the apprehension and removal of noncitizens who pose a threat to our national security, public safety, and border security,” an ICE spokesperson said in an email.
An ICE detainer is a written request to a local jail or law-enforcement agency to hold a defendant for an additional 48 hours, should the person get a release date, so it can decide whether to take the person into federal custody for deportation purposes, according to the ACLU.
Former Westchester County Executive and GOP gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino said, “we’ve lost control of our borders.”

“This is what happens when our government waves people in and doesn’t expel them when they’re not supposed to be here,” Astorino said.
Authorities say the curly haired suspect confessed to killing Gaal, a married mother of two, and was charged with murder, criminal tampering and criminal possession of a weapon.
Cops say he used to work as Gaal’s handyman and had a romantic relationship with her for about two years. He is accused of showing up at her stately Forest Hills home early Saturday morning and stabbing her nearly 60 times after they got into a fight about their relationship.
He was ordered held without bail late Thursday at Queens Criminal Court.

Hunter's Laptop: 120,000 'Deleted' Emails Recovered as Keeper Flees to Switzerland

The conservative activist who gave lawmakers and news outlets Hunter Biden’s laptop says he has recovered more than 120,000 deleted emails, 80,000 images and a huge cache of new data from Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Jack Maxey, who previously worked as a researcher for the “War Room” podcast run by Steve Bannon, told the Daily Mail he recently fled from the U.S. to Switzerland, fearing retaliation from the White House.
“I came here (to Zurich) so that we could do a forensic examination of Hunter's laptop safely in a country that still respects human liberty and the ideals of liberal democratic principles,” he told DailyMail.com.
The publication said he plans to post all the content online in a searchable database in the coming weeks.
Another source tells Newsmax the newly recovered emails are “shocking and could bring down Washington as we know it.”
“I do not believe this would have been possible inside the United States,” Maxey told the Daily Mail. “We had numerous attempts on us from trying to do things like this there.”
Hunter Biden has had reported financial ties not only to Ukraine and Russia — two countries at war — but also to China, a superpower backing Russia.
The New York Times and Washington Post last month reversed course and acknowledged that emails drawn from his laptop were authentic, nine months after they obtained them and two years after intel experts called the info dump disinformation.
The Times reported that Hunter Biden is now the subject of an active federal grand jury in Delaware probing his business and tax transactions.
Maxey also said the FBI failed to enter the laptop it got from computer repairman Mac Isaac into evidence for months.
“They essentially declared in their 'best opinion' – you notice how they always use weasel words – that this is a fabrication of elves in the basement of the Kremlin,” Maxey said.
“Still to this day, I can't understand how (Leon) Panetta, (James) Clapper, (Michael) Hayden and (John) Brennan declared it to be a fabrication.”
The “cover-up” of the laptop, he added, is a bipartisan problem and should be investigated,” he said, telling the Daily Mail of intimidating black SUVs outside his home and strange calls since he contacted the publication last year.
"Very dear friends of mine, the sharp tip of the spear, were making welfare calls to me every day, basically to see if I was still alive," he told the publication.
“We have an election coming up in the fall. And my prayer is that every member of the United States House and Senate who are running for office this year get replaced – Republicans and Democrats. We need to take back the country.”

Mitt Romney, R-Utah, may hail from one of the most conservative states in the country, but he joined centrist Republican colleagues Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska on Monday in saying he'd vote for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve as the first Black woman on the Supreme Court.
As reported by The Hill, the 75-year-old lawmaker praised her as “a person of honor.”
Romney has broken from the majority in his party on some notable occasions; for instance, he voted twice to convict former President Trump on impeachment charges. The Hill noted he also played a key role in negotiating a bipartisan infrastructure bill last year.
The outlet said he was taking another significant step toward the political center with his decision to back Johnson's confirmation to the high court. Democrats had hoped she would win a more significant showing of bipartisan support, but she is expected to be confirmed imminently.
Reuters reported Jackson moved a step closer to being confirmed as a justice on Monday when the Senate voted to break a Judiciary Committee deadlock over her nomination and send it to the full Senate for consideration.
The Senate voted 53-47 to discharge President Joe Biden's nominee to the Senate floor for a confirmation vote by all 100 senators.
As for Romney's support, he had this to say, per The Hill: “After reviewing Judge Jackson’s record and testimony, I have concluded that she is a well-qualified jurist and a person of honor. While I do not expect to agree with every decision she may make on the Court, I believe that she more than meets the standard of excellence and integrity.”

Alaska airlines ditches male and female uniforms for gender neutral dress code

Alaska Airlines announced this week that it had updated its dress code guidelines to make them more inclusive and gender-neutral, including staff of any gender identity being allowed to wear any uniform style and nail polish or make-up if they desire.
It has also introduced optional badges which show a staff member’s preferred pronouns, and grooming guidelines have been updated to allow for more diverse piercings, tattoos and hairstyles.
