The liberal hysteria and putting it to work in their favor

31,000 deleted emails just went up in a puff of smoke. She'll never admit it but Hillary's raising her glass toasting the latest chain of events along with the MSM. The ruling on ObamaCare subsidies, Charleston, the Confederate flag, and ruling same sex marriage is the new normal will all be put to good use.

How?

They know they can twist these events in their favor effectively painting Republicans in a corner.

1. They're against ObamaCare because POTUS is black.

2. 9 people were murdered in Charleston not by a lunatic racist but because of lack of more stringent gun control laws and that pesky 2nd Amendment. Who to blame? Those gun-carrying 2nd Amendment loving conservatives.

3. Oh... and take down that Confederate flag! Strip the south of its history and dignity. Everyone knows the effect that flag has mesmerizing the citizenry into such an a hypnotic state it compells them to kill others of another race. And while your at it lets rename Jefferson Davis Hwy.

Why not burn down the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Virginia?

What should be done with the Jefferson Memorial? After all he owned slaves... even had six children with one Sally Hemings.

The flag that represents the South is banned from sale on eBay, because the South is politically incorrect for being “racist.” However, eBay does offer this less offensive item for sale:

(F*** your God on the shirt)

BTW... Does EBay sell any fuck Muhammed T shirts?

4. Republican hopefuls will be grilled on same sex marriage you can count on that. They will be branded homophobes for not going along with the SC ruling. The question is how many people in America believe the SC represents a higher  authority then Leviticus 18 and 20:"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination?" My suggestion for Republicans is stick to your guns pun intended. If we go down in flames so be it. At least we can say we stood for something. For we are the last bastion against American decline militarily, morally, and spiritually.

Believe me... we are

That's the problem. Who are you?

Then there's this.
Senator Hillary Clinton 2004

Let's see her  "I misspoke"  her way out of this one.

Of course you won't see this coming from the MSM.

6-3 Benedict Roberts hits another home run

Remember when ObamaCare was still just a blister not costing anyone a dime? Barry at numerous press conferences and talk show interviews swore up down and sideways ObamaCare was not a tax?

Finally when it came down to the legitimacy of ObamaCare under the Supreme Court ruling Roberts (a Bush appointee) the deciding 5-4 vote for ObamaCare, stated Obamacare IS a tax. Shortly thereafter Barry took his victory lap on television never addressing, nor anyone asking...hey I thought you said it wasn't a tax. Barry quickly walked off stage thinking... As long as they didn't overturn it. I don't give a damn what he calls it.

So Barry sold us a bill of goods under the pretense it wasn't a tax. Roberts to make it 'fit' said it was a tax because the Constitution does not grant the federal government the power to force private commercial transactions. Was it up to him to make the switch? They both can't be right. So now we have ObamaCare based on a lie and signed off on by the Supreme Court. To say this was very accommodating on Robert's part would be a major understatement.

You would have thought in this latest subsidies judgement... the lie you can keep your insurance period ...And ObamaCare architect Gruber's admission... "It was a scam, a lie, from the very beginning perpetrated on the stupid American voter"... would have had some bearing on their decision.

When I saw 6-3 I knew who the 3 dissenting votes were without reading it.

Update:

SC rules gay marriage is legit. Having these two rule on gay marriage

is like asking Barry if he thinks taxing the rich more is a good idea.

Scalia leads scathing dissent on ObamaCare ruling, dubs law 'SCOTUScare'

Justice Scalia issues scathing dissent on ObamaCare ruling

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and his conservative colleagues may have been overruled in Thursday's decision upholding ObamaCare subsidies, but they didn't go down without a fight.

The firebrand conservative justice delivered one of the most scathing and linguistically creative dissents in recent memory. In a 21-page rebuttal, Scalia and two other justices tore into the Affordable Care Act and the court's handling of it over the years -- effectively accusing their colleagues of twisting the law for the sake of preserving President Obama's signature policy.

“Today’s interpretation is not merely unnatural; it is unheard of,” Scalia wrote, joined by Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.

The case itself centered on language in the original law that technically limited subsidies to people buying insurance in exchanges set up by the states. Opponents said this made subsidies through the federal exchange invalid.

“You would think the answer would be obvious -- so obvious there would hardly be a need for the Supreme Court to hear a case about it,” Scalia wrote.

The majority, though, upheld subsidies everywhere, arguing that is what Congress intended.

Scalia in his dissent scolded his colleagues' handling of Affordable Care Act challenges, writing, “We should just start calling this law SCOTUScare,” referring to the several times the high court has ruled on controversial parts of ObamaCare.

At one point, he panned the majority's reasoning as "pure applesauce."

Scalia essentially made two major points: he accused the court of playing favorites by letting politics get in the way, and claimed the majority’s opinion contained “somersaults of statutory interpretation.”

The conservative justice attacked the logic behind the ruling as “interpretive jiggery-pokery” and said the result shows "words no longer have meaning."

He wrote: “The Court forgets that ours is a government of laws and not of men. That means we are governed by the terms of our laws, not by the unenacted will of our lawmakers.”

Drilling down to the language of the case itself, he wrote: “The court holds that when the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act says ‘Exchange established by the State’ it means ‘Exchange established by the State or the Federal Government,’ That is of course quite absurd, and the court’s 21 pages of explanation make it no less so.”

He noted the other justices have stepped in twice now to block what he considered worthy challenges to the law, including the 2012 case challenging the individual mandate. Scalia suggested the court is now in a position of protecting the law, writing: "Under all the usual rules of interpretation, in short, the Government should lose this case. But normal rules of interpretation seem always to yield to the overriding principle of the present Court: The Affordable Care Act must be saved."

The Thursday decision was 6-3.

Chief Justice John Roberts delivered the majority opinion. He said that while the law’s wording was problematic, Congress’ intent was clear.

"Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them. If at all possible, we must interpret the Act in a way that is consistent with the former, and avoids the latter," he wrote. "Those credits are necessary for the Federal Exchanges to function like their State Exchange counterparts, and to avoid the type of calamitous result that Congress plainly meant to avoid."

Justices Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Stephen Breyer ruled in favor of the subsidies.

Autopsy of Freddie Gray shows ‘high-energy’ impact

After reading this article I don't quite know what to make of it. High energy impact? Second-degree depraved heart murder? Acts of omission?  From what I can glean Freddie died of sudden deceleration syndrome. Confusing to say the least. Apparently, whatever happened to him happened after he was placed in the van.

[The state medical examiner's office concluded that Gray's death fit the medical and legal definition of an accident, but ruled it to be a homicide because officers failed to follow safety procedures "through acts of omission."]

I think the visional perception, and the one everyone wanted to believe, was a white cop kneeling on the back of a struggling Freddie Gray until his spine snapped.

http://www.westernjournalism.com/bombshell-shock-report-on-freddie-gray-autopsy-why-mosby-didnt-want-you-to-see-it/

(This is why Marilyn Mosby refused to release the autopsy report and issued this statement after it leaked out )

“I want to make it very clear that the state’s attorney’s office did not release the Freddie Gray autopsy report. As I have repeatedly stated, I strongly condemn anyone with access to trial evidence who has leaked information prior to the resolution of this case.”

One thing I can say. Good luck getting Goodson convicted of "murder by driving".

Seemed like a low turn out for the 'beloved Freddie of Baltimore' at his funeral. Black Lives Matter... but not when there's looting to be done.

I can't say when this photo was taken... before, during, or after a service. You be the judge.
But how many looters do you suppose showed up for the funeral?

To put things in perspective every hot summer we read about a family who came back from church and somehow forgot the baby in the back seat. Tragically the baby dies. Are the parents charged with a crime?

-----------------------------------------------------

BALTIMORE — Freddie Gray suffered a single "high-energy injury" — like those seen in shallow-water diving incidents — most likely caused when the police van in which he was riding suddenly decelerated, according to a copy of the autopsy report obtained by The Baltimore Sun.

The state medical examiner's office concluded that Gray's death fit the medical and legal definition of an accident, but ruled it to be a homicide because officers failed to follow safety procedures "through acts of omission."

Though Gray was loaded into the van on his belly, the medical examiner surmised that he may have gotten to his feet and was thrown into the wall during an abrupt change in direction. He was not belted in, but his wrists and ankles were shackled, making him "at risk for an unsupported fall during acceleration or deceleration of the van."

Gray, 25, was arrested April 12 following a foot pursuit by officers in the Gilmor Homes area, and suffered a severe spinal injury while in police custody. His death a week later sparked protests over police brutality and unrest in the city — including looting and rioting — that drew international attention to the case.

The Baltimore state's attorney's office charged the six officers involved in Gray's arrest and death. Officer Caesar R. Goodson Jr., the driver of the van, is charged with second-degree depraved heart murder, while three other officers are charged with manslaughter. The remaining officers face lesser charges.

All of the officers have pleaded not guilty, and a trial has been set for October.

The autopsy report was completed April 30, the day before State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced criminal charges against the officers. The autopsy has not been made public, and the deadline for releasing evidence in the case to defense lawyers is Friday. A copy of the autopsy was obtained and verified by sources who requested anonymity because of the high-profile nature of the case.

Mosby's office and the state medical examiner declined to comment.

Gray tested positive for opiates and cannabinoid when he was admitted to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to the autopsy. The report makes no further reference to the drugs found in his system.

The report does not note any previous injuries to Gray's spine.

The autopsy details a chronology of the events surrounding Gray's arrest that helped inform the medical examiner's conclusion. The medical examiner relied upon witness statements, videos and an examination of the transport van.

While bystanders captured his arrest on video, showing Gray moaning for help, the autopsy concluded that Gray suffered no injuries to suggest a neck hold or stemming from physical restraint. Assistant medical examiner Carol H. Allan noted that Gray could be seen bearing weight on his legs and speaking as he was loaded into the van.

Officers placed Gray on a metal bench running from front to back along the outside wall of the van. After the doors were closed, he could be heard yelling and banging, "causing the van to rock," the autopsy noted.

The van made several stops. The second stop occurred a few blocks away, where officers placed an identification band and leg restraints on Gray.

"Reportedly, Mr. Gray was still yelling and shaking the van," the medical examiner wrote. "He was removed from the van and placed on the ground in a kneeling position, facing the van doors, while ankle cuffs were placed, and then slid onto the floor of the van, belly down and head first, reportedly still verbally and physically active."

Authorities previously said the third stop was captured on video, which showed the van driver, Goodson, getting out and looking in the back.

During a fourth stop, authorities said Goodson called for assistance, at which point Sgt. Alicia White, one of the officers who has been charged with manslaughter, got involved.

"The assisting officer opened the doors and observed Mr. Gray lying belly down on the floor with his head facing the cabin compartment, and reportedly he was asking for help, saying he couldn't breathe, couldn't get up, and needed a medic," the autopsy says. "The officer assisted Mr. Gray to the bench and the van continued on its way."

When the van made a fifth stop to pick up a second arrestee, "Mr. Gray was found kneeling on the floor, facing the front of the van and slumped over to his right against the bench, and reportedly appeared lethargic with minimal responses to direct questions," the report says.

The medical examiner concluded that Gray's most significant injury was to the lower left part of his head. Given the descriptions of his demeanor and positioning in the van, it most likely occurred after the second and before fourth stops made by the van driver, and possibly before the third stop, according to the autopsy.

While it's possible Gray was hurt while lying on the floor and moving back and forth, Allan determined his body likely couldn't have moved in that position with enough force to cause his injuries.

Allan surmised that Gray could have gotten to his feet using the bench and opposite wall. With his hands and ankles restrained, and unable to see out of the van and anticipate turns, she said he was at a high risk for an unsupported fall.

She also noted the possibility that Gray's neck injury occurred "with him in a partially reclining position or as he was changing his position on the floor of the van," if the van moved abruptly enough.

The injury to Gray's spinal cord would have caused loss of function of his limbs, and would have "direct effects" on his ability to breathe, according to the autopsy.

Police had said in a court filing that the second passenger reported hearing Gray banging and kicking through the metal divider before the fifth stop. Allan said that would not have been possible given Gray's injuries, but he may have been suffering a seizure at the time, which could have caused the noise, she said.
