This is what scumbag Edwards had to say in 1999 about the Clinton affair with Monica Lewinsky: Oh... this is rich.

"I think this president has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter. It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen."

Former Sen. John Edwards arrives with his wife Elizabeth for the late Sen. Edward Kennedy's memorial service in Boston Aug. 28, 2009. (AP Photo) Former presidential candidate John Edwards has admitted fathering his former campaign videographer's child. In a statement released to NBC News, Edwards said, "I am Quinn's father. ... It was wrong for me ever to deny she was my daughter and hopefully one day, when she understands, she will forgive me."

Friends of the family said that Edwards and wife, Elizabeth, have separated, NBC reported. The admission comes after months of denials from Edwards that he fathered former mistress Rielle Hunter's daughter, Frances Quinn.

The revelation also comes a week before his former campaign aide, Andrew Young, is set to appear in an ABC News interview saying he posed as the father when the scandal first broke as a favor to Edwards. The two-time presidential candidate also admitted to providing financial support to the child and said in the statement that he has "reached an agreement with her mother to continue providing support in the future."To all those I have disappointed and hurt these words will never be enough, but I am truly sorry," Edwards said.

Edwards' wife told The Associated Press that "the whole family feels relieved" that her husband claimed paternity, but she would not comment on the status of their marriage.

Young's interview is scheduled to air on ABC next Friday, but may be pushed forward. Previous reports have claimed that a secret DNA test proved Edwards' paternity to the child. The test was taken after Hunter tried to get financial help from Edwards for Frances. Edwards admitted in August 2008 to an affair with Hunter that he says ended in 2006. That year, Edwards political action committee paid Hunter's video production firm $100,000 for work. Then the committee paid another $14,086 on April 1, 2007. A federal grand jury last year investigated whether Edwards broke campaign finance law by paying "hush" money to Hunter and Young over the affair.

By all accounts Edwards should be in jail. But I will say he was right about one thing. There are "Two America's"...Those stupid enough to vote for him. And those smart enough not too.

A Man And A Pickup Truck

Hannity called it "divine intervention". Maybe that is so. The Obama Doctrine has taken a blistering Mike Tyson right cross (pun intended) to the jaw and is wobbling around like a drunken sailor on shore leave. I can tell you this. Ted Kennedy, the patron saint of liberalism, is suffering from a severe case of rug burn from spinning in his grave.
Folks... this is Massachusetts! The state where you are baptized Democrat. If this election was a sporting event it would tantamount to the Cubs winning the World Series.

From the depths of despair came a man and a pickup truck. The President tried to ridicule and disparage him. Yet the man stood tall believing knowledge and common sense would prevail. In spite of the President's remarks the man shouted:

Come follow me. I'll show you the way.

And they came in droves.

Scott's most applauded lines.

This is the people's seat.

The independent voices of Massachusetts have spoken.

Tonight, the independent majority of Massachusetts has won.

I am ready to go without delay.

I vowed, win or lose, we would run a race that would make us all proud.

It was all of us against the machine; but you are the machine.

This race began with just me, my truck and a few devoted volunteers. It ended with an Air Force 1 emergency run to Logan.

I didn't mind when the president criticized me, but when he started criticizing my truck, that was the limit.

I spoke to President Obama and said, " Would you like me to drive my truck up to Washington so you can see it? "

This election has sent a message. When there's trouble in Massachusetts there's trouble everywhere and they know it.

Start over on health care.
Tax dollars should be spent for weapons to stop terrorists not lawyers to defend them.

Seems like the Obama administration should adopt the famous line in Cool Hand Luke.

"What we got here is a failure to communicate."

Shootout in the Bluest of the Blue

This is big.... REALLY BIG

They are now saying the race in Massachusetts is to close to call. Who would have thought a month ago this was even possible? I see this as a win win for Republicans. In the bluest of blue states, even if Brown loses in a tight race, this spells disaster for the Democrats. Reid, Dodd (saw the handwriting), Pelosi, Frank, Specter, Schumer, Charles (should be jail) Rangel, all gone.

I just hope and pray this does not turn into the Minnesota debacle of Stewart Smalley and Norm Coleman. After a trial and months of recounting all the ACORN voters Smalley was seated as Senator. If Brown wins but its real close, look for the Democrats to pursue a recount and use anything and everything possible to prevent Brown from being seated. This man can sink Obamacare.

Watch what happens. When Kennedy died he wasn't even cold yet and the Democrats demanded an immediate replacement. If Scott Brown wins see if he gets the same treatment.

Yes. If you're a Democrat you can have it both ways

The Democrats, especially people of color, including the hypocritical Sharpton are scurrying around like rats coming to the defense of Reid.

In a private conversation reported in the book Game Change, Reid described Obama as a "light-skinned" African-American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one."

In 2002, at a birthday party for noted longtime Republican Senator Strom Thurmond, Lott said this: "I want to say this about [Mississippi, which Lott represented]: When Strom Thurmond ran for president [in 1948, as a Dixiecrat], we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years, either."

Trent Lott resigned.

Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) in 2002 agreed with former Sen. Trent Lott's (R-Miss.) decision to resign his leadership role after Lott made what some felt were racist remarks at former Sen. Strom Thurmond's 100th birthday party.

"He had no alternative," said Reid at the time claiming, "If you tell ethnic jokes in the backroom, it's that much easier to say ethnic things publicly. I've always practiced how I play."

Is that rich or what?

Just imagine if Sarah Palin, Mitch McConnell, or Joe Wilson described Obama as a... light-skinned African-American with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one. I hate to think what would happen if Beck or O'reilly said it.

Or. how about this one from brain dead Biden..."I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean."

Along with the remarks he made in the book Game Change I think it fitting he will be looking for a new job when the next election rolls around.

A new Mason-Dixon survey of Nevada voters finds Mr. Reid's favorable rating at just 33%, with 60% of voters disapproving of his role in the health-care debate.

One last thing. When Lott made the off the cuff remark he was speaking at Thurmond's birthday party for the whole world to here. To show you how stupid (or arrogant Reid is) his remark comes out in a book that he could have edited it out.

Imbecilious and Delirious

Imagine ancient Rome and these two as our political leaders. Fast forward to 2010. They are the political leaders! Maybe I'm just another "Conservative bomb thrower". I'll let you decide. Let me address a cataclysmic problem. Not only are Imbecilious and his top lieutenant Delirious going to try Gitmo POW's in a civilian court which is a mind-blowing mistake in itself; they want to shut down Gitmo and send the POW's to Yemen. The same Yemen that some of the USS Cole prisoners "escaped" from. Caving in to pressure from the far left, including the media, the Bush administration released POW's that they shouldn't have. So lets not repeat a failed policy! First and foremost the President's responsibility is: to serve and protect the people of the United States. I think we can all agree on that. After reading the article below how could anybody in their right mind consider closing down Gitmo. The President has made decisions without merit that make absolutely no sense.

Christmas day, a Yemeni, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab tried unsuccessfully to blow up a Northwest Airlines plane over Detroit. What if he succeeded? Does that.. have.. to happen? Or maybe, and I hate to say it, needs to happen. We need to wake up! 911 to most Americans and politicians alike has become distant as the memory of Pearl Harbor. Another place. Another time.

Mr. President. Al Qaeda is a snake. A snake has no friends. You can be nice to it all you want and pet it if you wish but in the end you're going to get bit.

So where is the rationale in all this? This is so"out there" it's hard to put your finger on it. Why would you release terrorists and send them to Yemen a breeding ground of terrorism?

Here's how I see it.

He is either:

1. Incredibly naive. Seeing the world as he wants it to be. Not like it is. Instead of turning Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab over to the military as (in POW) he probably took Delirious's advice to try him in a civilian court right after the guy who robbed the liquor store.

2. Stupid. When you drop the phrase War on Terror from your administration's vocabulary that doesn't mean the enemy suddenly likes you.

3. Puts world opinion above safety of Americans.

or

If this were a movie Imbecilious and Delirious early on in the plot would be identified as the villains. So I was going to put down number 4. Working for Al Qaeda. Even I don't believe that. But it does make you wonder.

Think about it. If I said lets release Charles Manson people would say I was crazy. How is this any different? I can't see how America can possibly benefit from releasing these prisoners? What is the upside?

By the way, this is coming from an administration who can't control who shows up at a White House dinner party, and we are supposed to trust them with Homeland Security!

Report: Freed Guantanamo Detainees Head to Yemen to Rejoin Al Qaeda

At least a dozen former Guantanamo Bay inmates have rejoined Al Qaeda to fight in Yemen, The Times of London reported Tuesday, amid growing concern over the ability of the country's government to accept almost 100 more former inmates from the detention center.

The Obama Administration promised to close the Guantanamo facility by January 22, a deadline that it will be unable to meet. The 91 Yemeni prisoners in Guantanamo make up the largest national contingent among the 198 being held.

Six prisoners were returned to Yemen last month. After the Christmas Day bomb plot in Detroit, U.S. officials are increasingly concerned that the country is becoming a hot-bed of terrorism. Eleven of the former inmates known to have rejoined Al Qaeda in Yemen were born in Saudi Arabia. The organization merged its Saudi and Yemeni offshoots last year.

The country's mountainous terrain, poverty and lawless tribal society make it, in the opinion of many analysts, a close match for Afghanistan as a new terrorist haven.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton voiced concern about the growing strength of Al Qaeda in Yemen.

"Obviously, we see global implications from the war in Yemen and the ongoing efforts by Al Qaeda in Yemen to use it as a base for terrorist attacks far beyond the region," she said.

A Yemeni, Hani Abdo Shaalan, who was released from Guantanamo in 2007, was killed in an airstrike on December 17, the Yemeni Government reported last week. The deputy head of Al Qaeda in the country is Said Ali al-Shihri, 36, who was released from the prison in 2007. Ibrahim Suleiman al-Rubaish, who was released in 2006, is a prominent ideologue featured on Yemeni Al Qaeda Web sites.
