This time Joe...it ain't funny

Evidently this story is not newsworthy enough to be brought to the attention of Americans through the American media. I found it on a British website.

'Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?' Biden's bizarre question angers father of Navy SEAL who died in Benghazi attack

The father of one of the Navy SEALs who was killed in the Libya consulate attack has criticized the White House reaction to his son's death - especially a bizarre and obscene comment Joe Biden made to him.

Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods, said he thought Barack Obama had 'no remorse' over the attack and felt Hillary Clinton was 'not telling the truth'.

And he revealed that at the ceremony for the return of Tyrone's body, the Vice President approached his family and asked, 'Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?'

Mr Woods added that the President seemed cold and distant at the time, saying: 'Shaking hands with him, quite frankly, was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye, his eyes were over my shoulder. I could tell that he was not sorry. He had no remorse.'

Inappropriate: Joe Biden apparently asked the father of dead Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, right, 'Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?'

Mr Woods launched his blistering attack on the Obama administration during an interview with Glenn Beck on The Blaze yesterday. Tyrone died on September 11 alongside his colleague Glen Doherty while the pair were protecting a CIA building next to the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

Ambassador Chris Stevens and diplomat Sean Smith were also killed in the raid, which has become a controversial issue in next month's presidential election due to ongoing confusion over how much the administration knew about the circumstances of the attack.

Mr Woods told Mr Beck that he was disappointed by his meeting with senior officials at the event marking the return of the dead men's bodies. He said that Mr Biden had acted inappropriately, asking the Woods family in a 'loud and boisterous' tone, 'Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?'

Mr Woods asked, 'Are these the words of someone who is sorry?'

* Powell says country should stay on the track it is on

* Says Romney's foreign policy a "moving target"

* Former Bush official also cites education, economy

By Susan Heavey

WASHINGTON, Oct 25 (Reuters) - Former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell on Thursday endorsed Barack Obama's bid for re-election, citing the Democratic president's efforts to wind down the war in Afghanistan and tackle terrorism.

"I think we ought to keep on the track that we are on," the Republican, who also backed Obama in 2008, told "CBS This Morning," adding, "I voted for him in 2008 and I plan to stick with him in 2012."

The move comes just days after Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney clashed over foreign policy in the third and last presidential debate ahead of the Nov. 6 election.

Polls show Obama and Romney neck and neck. A Reuters/Ipsos online tracking poll gave Romney a 1-point edge on Wednesday, 47 percent to Obama's 46 percent.

Obama's campaign was quick to promote the endorsement in a video statement released about 30 minutes after Powell's appearance.

The president called Powell on Thursday to thank him for his endorsement, White House spokesman Jay Carney later told reporters aboard Air Force One heading from Florida to Virginia.

Powell criticized Romney's foreign policy as inconsistent and questioned the former Massachusetts governor's ability to address the deficit and looming defense cuts.

"I'm not quite sure which Governor Romney we'd be getting with respect to foreign policy," Powell said, calling Romney's foreign policy "a moving target."

As for the U.S. budget, he added: "It's essentially, let's cut taxes and compensate for that with other things, but that compensation does not cover all the cuts intended or the expenses associated with defense."

Powell has been critical of Romney's foreign policy advisers and has taken issue with the former business executive's stance on countries such as Russia.

A moderate Republican, Powell served under President George W. Bush. Some of Romney's advisers are more conservative veterans of the Bush administration.

"There's some very, very strong neo-conservative views that are presented by the governor that I have some trouble with," Powell said on CBS.

He added that other issues such as the economy and education also loomed large in his support for a second term for Obama.

To bad they don't allow videos during a debate

Remember when Romney said Barry went on a Apology Tour?

This is an exact quote of what Romney said during the debate.

ROMNEY to Obama:

We're four years closer to a nuclear Iran. We're four years closer to a nuclear Iran. And -- and -- we should not have wasted these four years to the extent they -- they continue to be able to spin these centrifuges and get that much closer. That's number one.

Number two, Mr. President, the reason I call it an apology tour is because you went to the Middle East and you flew to Egypt and to Saudi Arabia and to Turkey and Iraq. And by the way, you skipped Israel, our closest friend in the region, but you went to the other nations.

And by the way, they noticed that you skipped Israel. And then in those nations, and on Arabic TV, you said that America had been dismissive and derisive. You said that on occasion America had dictated to other nations.

Mr. President, America has not dictated to other nations. We have freed other nations from dictators.

Now for the enlightenment.
Barry called Romney essentially a liar. Watch this video and tell me who's lying!

Welfare vs Welfair

Have you ever wondered why welfare is spelled the way it is? Why didn't they spell it Welfair? They couldn't. Why? Because that would imply welfair was  just, equitable, honest, and its not. So they spelled it welfare which would indicate someone else is paying the freight, the cost, the heavy toll. Which is more true to form.

The welfare program, maybe with the best intentions, was passed as  a temporary helping hand. It was never meant to be a life style.

People who are entirely able to take care of themselves, yet traditionally rely on others to do it, before long, you have to wonder... what is the point of their existence?

Big Spenders

Social Security 731 Billion annually

Defense 700 Billion annually

Welfare programs 1.03 Trillion annually

I don't know...Maybe one of the options should be calling Jennie Craig instead of the welfare office.

Which do you prefer...Barry's way?

Or Ronald Reagan's?

"Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence."
