Kerry says Tehran has not pursued nuke since 2003

See if I got this straight. According to John Kerry they haven't pursued a nuke since 2003. If that's the case what was the point of the Iran deal to begin with? I got it. To lift the sanctions so Iran gets over a hundred billion to spend on terrorism.

How do you explain this?

June 2012

Islamic world must have nuclear weapons, says Iran

-----------------------------------------------------------

Secretary of State John Kerry doubled down on the controversial Iran nuclear deal Tuesday, telling lawmakers that there was not a better deal available to negotiators and that since 2003 Iran has not pursued a nuclear bomb to the best of America's knowledge.

Speaking in a moderated discussion on the nuclear deal reached with Iran hosted by Thomson Reuters in New York, Kerry tried to counter Republican claims that a better deal can be reached.

Kerry told the forum that President George W. Bush tried in 2003 and 2008 to get a better deal, but there "is not a better deal to be gotten."

He went on to say that the argument for a better deal would entail the U.S. maintaining or increasing pressure on Iran by threatening foreign governments and businesses with penalties for doing business with Iran, an idea that Kerry slammed as far-fetched.

"Are you kidding?" he said.

Kerry asserted that European countries wouldn't cooperate with U.S. sanctions, and would walk away from separate U.S.-led penalties against Russia if Congress kills the deal.

He also claimed that the dollar would lose its status as the world's reserve currency, and allies wouldn't support U.S. military action against Iran.

Kerry told participants that there was clearly a period in which Iran was pursuing a nuclear weapon.

"We found them red-handed with facilities they should not have had, with materials they should not have had," Kerry said.

However, he said that since 2003, Iran has not pursued a weapon to the best knowledge of the U.S. and others.

"They have not pursued a weapon to our best judgment and to the judgment of all our allies, they haven't pursue a weapon, per se, since that period of time," Kerry said.

In terms of the argument for a better deal, Kerry noted that while Iranian leaders issued a fatwah in 2003 that a nuclear weapon should not be pursued, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) still wants one and has fought against the deal.

"They are opposed to the agreement if that doesn't tell you something," Kerry said.

The One Question Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Isn’t Answering About the Turning Over of Her Server

The Justice Department is going to investigate. Who is the head of the Justice Department? Loretta Lynch... appointed by Barry. Looks like the knife is about to be plunged in Killary's back to make room for Joe.

-------------------------------------------------

Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign announced Tuesday that the Democratic frontrunner would turn over her private home sever to the Justice Department — but there's one question her campaign hasn't answered: why now?

In March, Clinton said in no uncertain terms that she would not hand over her server or allow an independent third party to examine the emails on it.

"The server contains personal communications from my husband and me," Clinton said. "And the server will remain private."

Fast forward a few months, and things suddenly changed.

"She directed her team to give her email server that she used during her tenure as Secretary to the Department of Justice, as well as a thumb drive containing copies of her emails already provided to the State Department," campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said Tuesday.

As news broke that Clinton would hand over the server, a U.S. official said that the FBI had seized the Democratic frontrunner's emails.

Merrill's statement, however, did not name that as reason why Clinton had suddenly made the decision.

So what is the reason for the sudden change?

The Clinton campaign did not respond to multiple inquiries seeking comment.

This has got to come to a screeching halt

Illegal immigrant held in rape, murder of California woman was on probation

Another dangerous illegal slips through broken system

One of two men charged in connection with last month's home invasion, rape and fatal bludgeoning of a 64-year-old California woman was in the U.S. illegally and on probation, the News-Press has learned.

Victor Aureliano Martinez Ramirez, 29, who is charged along with Jose Fernando Villagomez, 20, in the July 24 attack in Santa Maria, Calif., was on probation for committing battery against an unidentified woman on May 22, 2014, while in possession of methamphetamine. He was charged twice this year for violating probation, once for possessing a concealed knife and the other for drugs, but a Santa Barbara judge allowed him to enter a substance abuse center in Santa Maria in lieu of jail. According to County Jail officials, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement declined to issue an immigration detainer that would have required local authorities to hold him for deportation.

Just think how ridiculous this is. Instead of deportation we put him in jail and pay to send him to a substance abuse center then release him on probation! Why?  This poor woman's death is a direct result of Sanctuary cities.
The policy is 'catch and release' until they ultimately kill someone. This guy is Mexico's problem not ours.

Martinez will now go through the lengthly, costly, process of trials and appeals eventually getting life or the death penalty all on the taxpayers dime when he could have so easily been deported. Someone tell me how this s**t makes sense.

Police say Marilyn Pharis was beaten with a hammer and sexually assaulted in the morning attack, and died later at a local hospital. An autopsy was set for Thursday.

Ramirez fled, but was tracked from the scene by a police dog to a nearby home, according to authorities.

Ramirez pleaded not guilty to attempted murder, first-degree burglary, and assault with intent to commit rape. Those charges could be upgraded to murder following Pharis' death. He was being held on $1 million bail.

Villagomez was booked Tuesday into Santa Barbara County Jail on suspicion of sexual assault and attempted murder. He was already behind bars after a July 28 arrest over a probation violation.

In May, Villagomez allegedly committed battery against Miguel Angel Romero and was found in possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to three years of supervised probation June 17 and was also allowed to enter a drug treatment center in Santa Maria.

Both men will next appear in court on Aug. 13. The autopsy findings could result in murder charges against both.
