Killary makes history as first female presidential nominee

But when you really think about it isn't it the same old crap? These two are scandals just waiting to happen.

My last hope is the FBI. Only a Clinton could run for president while simultaneously under criminal investigation by the FBI!

Pakistan woman burns daughter alive for marrying against family wishes

LAHORE, Pakistan – A woman in Pakistan burned her 17-year-old daughter alive on Wednesday to punish her for marrying against the family's wishes, the latest in a series of so-called "honor killings" that claim the lives of nearly 1,000 women every year in the conservative Muslim country.

Police say Zeenat Rafiq's mother, Parveen, tied her to a cot and drenched her with kerosene before lighting her on fire. Neighbors in the congested, working-class neighborhood in the eastern city of Lahore came running when they heard the screams, but family members kept them from entering the house, said Nighat Bibi, who lives nearby.

The police eventually arrived and found the charred body near a staircase. They arrested the mother soon thereafter.

The victim's husband, Hassan Khan, told reporters the two had been "in love since our school days" but the family had rejected several marriage proposals, forcing them to elope last month. He showed an affidavit of consent signed by his wife before a magistrate. He also showed cellphone photos of a smiling Zeenat wearing a red dress.

Sheikh Hammad, a local police official, said Parveen confessed to killing her daughter with the help of her son Ahmar. He quoted the woman as saying "I don't have any regrets." Another police officer, Ibadat Nisar, said the body showed signs of beating and strangulation.

Hundreds of women are killed every year in Pakistan -- often by their own family members -- for violating the country's conservative norms regarding love and marriage. Sex outside of marriage is seen by conservative Pakistanis as a stain on the honor of the woman's entire family, one that can only be removed by killing her.

Last week a schoolteacher, Maria Bibi, was set on fire for refusing to marry a man twice her age. The prime suspect in the case — the father of the man she refused to marry — and the other four are in custody.

A month earlier, police arrested 13 members of a local tribal council who allegedly strangled a girl and set her on fire for helping a friend elope. The charred body of 17-year-old Ambreen Riasat was found in a burned van.

Khan, the husband of the woman killed in Lahore, said her mother and uncle had visited her three days ago to try to persuade her to return home and have a marriage ceremony with the family, so that she wouldn't be branded as someone who had eloped. He recalled his wife telling him: "Don't let me go, they will kill me."

Clinton Claims Historic Victory in Democratic Primary

I got it!
The FBI is waiting until after her Inaugural for the most dramatic effect.

Hillary Clinton will win California's Democratic presidential primary — NBC News projected early Wednesday — a symbolic victory a day after she was declared the presumptive nominee of the party.

Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders campaigned heavily in California ahead of its primary, a rare spectacle for state voters who are more accustomed to the contest being overlooked when it's held so late in the primary season.

The win gives Clinton momentum heading into the party's convention this summer and will deal another blow to Sanders, who has refused to drop out of the race.

Claiming her place in history, Clinton declared victory Tuesday night in her bruising battle for the nomination, becoming the first woman to lead a major American political party and casting herself as the beneficiary of generations who fought for equality.

U.S. Accuses Chinese Jet of Flying Too Close to American Plane

This has been happening a lot lately. When was the last time you read about an America jet flying too close, in a threatening manner, to a Russian or Chinese aircraft? Is it possible the pussification of the WH is trickling down to our military?

--------------------------------------

BEIJING — The American military has accused a Chinese fighter jet of maneuvering too fast and too close to a United States Air Force RC-135 reconnaissance plane as it flew in international airspace over the East China Sea this week.

The United States Pacific Command said in a statement that one of two Chinese jets involved in an intercept operation on Tuesday had "an unsafe excessive rate of closure on the RC-135 aircraft."

"This seems to be a case of improper airmanship, as no other provocative or unsafe maneuvers occurred," the Pacific Command said.

The episode was the second report of an unsafe intercept recently by a Chinese jet tracking an American spy plane in the waters around China.

Last month, the Pentagon said two Chinese fighter jets flew dangerously close to an EP-3 aircraft off the coast of Hainan, the southernmost province of China.

In that case, the Chinese plane flew within 50 feet of the American plane over the South China Sea, breaking an agreement on safe conduct in the air that Beijing and Washington signed last year, the Pentagon said.

The East China Sea is a sensitive area for China and Japan, an American treaty ally. Islands known as the Senkaku in Japan and the Diaoyu in China, a group of uninhabited rocks in the East China Sea, are the center of a bitter territorial dispute between the two countries, which regularly dispatch patrol ships close to them.

China's Ministry of Defense told Global Times, a state-run Chinese newspaper, that the United States was "deliberately hyping up the issue of reconnaissance by American military aircraft near China."

Chinese military pilots always operate according to the rules and act in a "professional and responsible" manner, a ministry spokesman who was not identified by the newspaper was quoted as saying on Wednesday.

The commander of the Pacific Command, Adm. Harry B. Harris Jr., said at a conference in Singapore last weekend that he had seen "positive behavior" by Chinese military aircraft and ships recently.

"Every now and then, you'll see an incident in the air that we may judge to be unsafe," he said. "Those are really, over the course of time, rare."

California lawmakers try to extend ObamaCare to illegal immigrants

We all knew this was coming.
Remember when you could keep your insurance but then you couldn't?

The bastard in the WH is consistently caught in lie after lie after lie with no consequence. Every action he has ever taken during his presidency is based on lies and deceit. From F&F to ObamaCare, Benghazi, the IRS scandal, to the Iran Nuke debacle, if it were anyone else but him they would have been impeached. Believe me, Bergdahl was never about..."no soldier left behind". It was all about getting five more Gitmo dogs released.

Clear as glass.
Three presidential candidates on stage and all three are world class liars!

Video 247

Edwards didn't go to jail. Either will Clinton. And Barry will never be impeached.

We are deserving of what we get.

"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors."

And it also could be said of people who have their head up their ass when they do vote.

California is on the brink of becoming the first state in the nation to offer illegal immigrants the chance to buy insurance on an ObamaCare exchange -- testing what's being described as a "loophole" in the law.

The Affordable Care Act technically bars illegal immigrants from the insurance exchanges.

But the California bill, which last week passed the state legislature and was sent to Gov. Jerry Brown’s desk, would allow the state to apply for a federal waiver to open its exchange -- Covered California -- to undocumented residents.

There's no guarantee that will happen. Brown first would have to sign the bill and the Obama administration then would have to green-light the waiver. Even if that is granted, it wouldn't necessarily give illegal immigrants access to insurance subsidies.

Critics, though, say it’s a slippery slope and yet another example of how the federal government has hoodwinked Americans into getting behind the Affordable Care Act, or ObamaCare.

“This is the first step in another misrepresentation of the Affordable Care Act,” Ira Mehlman, a spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform told US News & World Report. “It was sold to the American people on the fact that you wouldn’t have to subsidize health care for illegal immigrants.”

During his monthslong public pitch for the health care overhaul, President Obama had promised repeatedly the benefits that come with the federal and state health care exchanges would not be made available to illegal immigrants.

Currently, it is illegal under ObamaCare for undocumented immigrants to buy into the ACA.

According to HealthCare.gov, “undocumented immigrants aren’t eligible to buy Marketplace health coverage, or for premium tax credits and other savings on Marketplace plans.”

However, a provision in the law called the “innovation waiver” allows states like California to change portions of the law as long as the state makes coverage available to more people and as long as the federal government doesn’t get stuck footing the bill.

The bill’s sponsor, Sen. Ricardo Lara, a Democrat, says if Brown signs the bill, 390,000 illegal immigrants would be eligible to receive health insurance.

“We are talking about our friends. We are talking about our neighbors and our families who are denied basic health care in the richest state of this union,” Lara, the son of an undocumented worker, said during Senate negotiations last June.

While the California waiver would be the first of its kind on a large scale, 18 states already have offered subsidies for prenatal care for undocumented women and health insurance for all undocumented children, according to Think Progress.

Requests for comment to Brown's office and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as well to Lara's office, were not immediately returned.
