Bergdahl requests a pardon from Barry

Published December 02, 2016

Will President Obama pardon Bowe Bergdahl?

If he served his country with honor and distinction I would hate to find out what qualifies as a traitor/deserter! BTW...it's been over two years and still no trial.

---------------------------------------

Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl--held captive for five years after being captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan--has requested a pardon from President Obama, Fox News has learned from two senior US officials.

According to a well-placed source, Bergdahl thanked the president for rescuing him in May 2014 in a controversial exchange for five Taliban prisoners from Gitmo, in addition to asking for a pardon in the letter.

The Secretary of the Army was copied on the letter to the president, but the pardon was not formally requested through the military chain of command.

A Justice Department official confirms that it received a pardon petition from Bergdahl. Pentagon and White House officials would not immediately respond for comment.

Bergdahl’s pardon letter was sent to the president via the Department of Justice, officials said. There was no immediate comment from DOJ.

Reached by phone, Eugene R. Fidell, the attorney representing Sgt. Bergdahl, would not comment on the letter.

Last month, Sgt. Bergdahl’s court-martial trial was delayed for a second time and will now begin May 15 at Fort Bragg, NC.

Bergdahl faces charges of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy and could face up to life in prison.

President-elect Donald Trump called Bergdahl a “dirty, rotten traitor” early in his presidential campaign during a town hall in August 2015.

The Army general who investigated Bergdahl’s disappearance from a remote outpost in eastern Afghanistan on June 30, 2009 recommended that Bergdahl not receive jail time.

After being captured by the Taliban a short time after he left his post, Bergdahl was transferred to the Haqqani network, which top officials say is the most dangerous militant group in the region.

Wait a minute. Captured by the Taliban? Didn't Josh Earnest tell us the Taliban was not a terrorist organization? They're just an "armed insurgency".

The State Department designated the Haqqani network, based in Pakistan, as a foreign terrorist organization in 2012.

The US officials have long accused Pakistan’s spy agency, Inter-Services Intelligence, of supporting the Haqqani network made up of Taliban fighters in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.

During the U.S. military’s intensive man-hunt for Bergdahl over a five-year period it was reported that up to six American soldiers died and others were wounded in the search, but these claims have been disputed.

Shortly after he was returned to US custody, President Obama’s national security advisor Susan Rice said Bergdahl served his country with “honor and distinction.”

Didn't you know? If you served with  “honor and distinction” your reward is a court martial.

Wonder if Mad Dog has ivory handled pistols?

We got ourselves another Patton to lead the DOD.

(Don't say pearl handled pistols. He once said, "Hell only a pimp in a whore house would carry a pearl-handled pistol.")

A new sheriff is coming to town replacing the pussified current administration preference of forcing our military to struggle against Muslim terrorists with one hand tied behind their back.

That my friends will no longer be the case.

MEMORABLE QUOTES FROM TRUMP'S SECRETARY OF DEFENSE JAMES 'MAD DOG' MATTIS

'The first time you blow someone away is not an insignificant event. That said, there are some a**holes in the world that just need to be shot.'

'Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.'

'I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you f***with me, I'll kill you all.'

'If in order to kill the enemy you have to kill an innocent, don't take the shot. Don't create more enemies than you take out by some immoral act.'

'Marines don't know how to spell the word defeat.'

'You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them. Actually it's quite fun to fight them, you know. It's a hell of a hoot. It's fun to shoot some people.'

'The most important six inches on the battlefield is between your ears.'

'Engage your brain before you engage your weapon.'

'Find the enemy that wants to end this experiment in American democracy and kill every one of them until they're so sick of the killing that they leave us and our freedoms intact.'

'There is nothing better than getting shot at and missed. It's really great.'

'There are some people who think you have to hate them in order to shoot them. I don't think you do. It's just business.'

'For the mission's sake, for our country's sake, and the sake of the men who carried the Division's colors in past battles - "who fought for life and never lost their nerve" - carry out your mission and keep your honor clean. Demonstrate to the world there is "No Better Friend - No Worse Enemy" than a US Marine.'

'Treachery has existed as long as there's been warfare, and there's always been a few people that you couldn't trust.'

'Fight with a happy heart.'

'I am going to beg with you for a minute. I'm going to plead with you, do not cross us. Because if you do, the survivors will write about what we do here for 10,000 years.'

'PowerPoint makes us stupid.'

'You cannot allow any of your people to avoid the brutal facts. If they start living in a dream world, it's going to be bad.'

Think before you insist upon doing away with the ELECTORAL COLLEGE

REASON FOR AN ELECTORAL COLLEGE

This is absolute and this is why there is an electoral college.

Without it only 5 major cities could be calling ALL the shots...

1. There are 3,141 counties in the United State

a. Trump won 3,084 of them... Clinton won 57.

2. There are 62 counties in New York State.

a. Trump won 46 of them... Clinton won 16.

3. Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 2.1 million votes.

New York City; Five counties encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens)

· Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump.

· Clinton won 4 of these counties, Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, & Queens

· Trump won only 1 county, Richmond.

Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.

· These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.

· The United States is comprised of 3, 797,000 square miles.

When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those that encompass a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.

Anthony Weiner busted for misuse of campaign cash

Disgraced ex-mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner was using his campaign cash to pay for his personal phone — among a slew of other violations that got him hit with $64,956 in fines by the city Campaign Finance Board Thursday.

Two members of his campaign staff were approached for a comment and stated in unison, "We have no idea how this happened."

The board voted unanimously to penalize the sext-crazed pol’s failed 2013 campaign for ten different violations of campaign finance law.

Weiner’s campaign spent $1,539 on bills for two phones and dry cleaning that CFB found were really Weiner’s personal expenses.

The campaign said one of the phones was Weiner’s personal line, which he used for fundraising, and the other was a cum contaminated phone bought during his earlier mayoral bid in 2005 for sexting. The board whacked him (something he is no stranger to) with a $2,308 fine for that, since using campaign donations for regular living expenses is not allowed.

CFB hit him with another $22,031 fine for failing to demonstrate expenses were in furtherance of his campaign, including $26,000 paid to the Esler Group, $56,210 to individuals whose duties were not properly documented, and $600 used to buy TVs.

Weiner’s 2013 mayoral campaign, after initially surging to the top of the polls, imploded after it emerged that he had sexted with women including Sydney Leathers after resigning from Congress for engaging in the same behavior with other women.

He’s now the subject of a federal investigation over exchanges with a teen girl in North Carolina. His wife, top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, finally left him after revelations that he had sent a suggestive message to another woman that showed their young son in bed with him.

But that was so yesterday.

Here she is getting gussied up for that hot sexting husband of hers who spent over a month in rehab and is cumming home hornier than Bill Clinton at Girl Scout meeting.

It’s unclear whether the phone he paid for with his campaign money was used in any explicit exchanges.

Weiner was also accused of accepting 21 campaign contributions over the legal limit of $4,950, accepting two contributions over the lower limit for people who have business with the city, and taking two illicit gifts from corporations.

And the campaign spent $115,268 after the election was over, including $46,169 to a consultant, spending that was judged insurmountable because proper contracts were not provided.

The campaign will also have to repay $195,377.79 in taxpayer matching funds that it did not use.

He did not immediately respond to a request for comment until our female reporter sexted Carlos Danger. The photos returned would be inappropriate to disclose in this report.

University of California digs in to fight Trump on illegal immigrant protections

And this imbecile was in charge of Homeland Security?

--------------------------------------

By Brooke SingmanPublished December 01, 2016

Former Obama administration official Janet Napolitano, now head of California’s public university system, is digging in for a fight with President-elect Donald Trump over illegal immigration.

Napolitano, who served as secretary of Homeland Security during Obama’s first term, announced Wednesday that the vast higher education system she runs will not enforce federal law when it comes to illegal immigrants.

“While we still do not know what policies and practices the incoming federal administration may adopt, given the many public pronouncements made during the presidential campaign and its aftermath, we felt it necessary to reaffirm that [University of California] will act upon its deeply held conviction that all members of our community have the right to work, study, and live safely and without fear at all UC locations,” Napolitano said in a written directive.

The university system stopped short of declaring itself a “sanctuary,” but outlined new principles protecting students enrolled at the University of California who have been illegally residing in the United States.

“The new principles clarify that the University will not break the law and that our police departments will not join in on immigration operations conducted by other police agencies,” University of California spokeswoman Dianne Klein said in a statement emailed to FoxNews.com.

Under federal law, law enforcement agencies including campus police are required to notify federal authorities when they detain a suspected illegal immigrant. But dozens of cities across the country, as well as colleges and churches, have openly defied the law. The Obama administration did not press the issue, but Trump has vowed to cut off federal funding to so-called “sanctuary” cities.

University of California will continue to admit illegal immigrants under the same criteria as U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Under Napolitano’s official new policy, campus police are not allowed to cooperate with local, state or federal law enforcement agencies to “investigate, detain, or arrest individuals for violation of federal immigration law.”

U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement considers schools –including universities and colleges - “sensitive locations,” where they will not act unless “exigent circumstances exist.” A law enforcement official told FoxNews.com that ICE does not conduct enforcement on campuses unless there is a serious and “extraordinary” circumstance involved, such as a threat to national security.

“The ICE and [Customs and Border Patrol] sensitive locations policies, which remain in effect, provide that enforcement actions at sensitive locations should generally be avoided, and require prior approval from an appropriate supervisory official, ” Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Gillian Christensen told FoxNews.com. “DHS is committed to ensuring that people seeking to participate in activities or utilize services provided at any sensitive location are free to do so without fear or hesitation.”

But those are regulations and policies subject to change under a new administration, and most observers expect Trump to take a hard line on illegal immigration. Napolitano’s move appears to be a pre-emptive strike, according to Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at Center for Immigration Studies.

“She is doing this for political effect,” Vaughan said. “The University is trying to look like they are standing up against what a Trump Administration might do, but I think this is very problematic because if they go so far as to obstruct law enforcement, they are violating federal law and could be putting people at risk.”

The University of California already has established facilities called Centers for Undocumented Students at their Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, and Los Angeles campuses. The policies are in keeping with those of a state with the most pro-illegal immigrant policies in the nation.

According to California law, minors who are in California without immigration documentation may be educated in public grade schools, and if they meet the same academic requirements that all U.S. citizens do, they can attend public universities and pay in-state tuition.

In May 2016, President Napolitano announced that the university would earmark $.8.4 million a year through the 2018-2019academic year for “undocumented student support” across its 10 campuses.

Unfuckingbelievable!!!
