"Hands up don't shoot."

A man with a previous history of assaulting cops was arrested again Monday after he attacked and bit a police officer who was taking him into custody during a hearing at a Miami courtroom, officials said.

Godel Leveille, 29, was in court for a hearing on a warrant when a judge ordered him taken into custody and Leveille bit the officer, giving him a "severe injury," according to Miami-Dade police spokesman Argemis Colome.

“I was standing here in the hallway, and I heard a commotion, and I heard officers call, and when I came over here to look, there was a man that had bit an officer. He took out a chunk of meat out of his right or left hand, and he was bleeding,” Jonathan Perdomo, who witnessed the attack, told WSVN. “And then they called in, they grabbed the dude, and they tied him down, and they put a bag over his face, and they escorted him out of the courtroom.”

A large group of police officers and Miami-Dade Corrections officers were then seen escorting Leveille into the back of a cruiser

Leveille was then seen in video captured by WSVN appearing to resist officers and cursing on his way to be put in the vehicle.

The warrant issued Monday for Leveille came from an arrest in May 2016 for battery on law enforcement officers, according to court records.

Leveille is now being held without bond in the Miami-Dade County jail and faces additional charges of resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer.

The officer was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Michigan Congressman John Conyers settled complaint over sexual misconduct in 2015 after being accused of touching women inappropriately and flying in affairs using 'Congressional resources'

And this is the same guy who is leading the charge to file articles of impeachment against Trump!

Conyers has one hope to stay in Congress. The race card...and he'll play it to the max.

Oh...just found out his wife did a stint in prison.

Michigan Representative John Conyers settled a complaint in 2015 from a woman who alleged she was fired from his Washington staff because she rejected his sexual advances, BuzzFeed News reported Monday.

The website reported that Conyers' office paid the woman over $27,000 to settle the complaint under a confidentiality agreement.

BuzzFeed also published affidavits from former staff members who said they had witnessed Conyers touching female staffers inappropriately -rubbing their legs and backs - or requesting sexual favors.

Michigan Representative John Conyers settled a $27,000 complaint in 2015 from a woman who alleged she was fired because she rejected his sexual, according to Buzzfeed News

One former staffer said one of her duties was 'to keep a list of women that I assumed he was having affairs with and call them at his request and, if necessary, have them flown in using Congressional resources.'

BuzzFeed said it received the documents from right-wing activist Mike Cernovich but independently confirmed their authenticity. Cernovich said he gave the documents to BuzzFeed News because Democrats would 'try to discredit the story by attacking the messenger' if he published them himself.

The 88-year-old Conyers is the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee and the longest-serving current member of the House. Calls to Conyers and his office seeking comment were not immediately returned Monday night.

The government has paid more than $17 million in taxpayer money over the last 20 years to resolve claims of sexual harassment, overtime pay disputes and other workplace violations filed by employees of Congress.

(All taxpayer money)

The Office of Compliance released the numbers amid a wave of revelations of sexual misconduct in the worlds of entertainment, business, and politics that made its way to Capitol Hill last week.

Two female lawmakers described incidents of sexual harassment, one in explicit detail, and Minnesota Sen. Al Franken apologized to a woman who said he forcibly kissed her and groped her during a 2006 USO tour.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-California, said Monday she was unaware of the settlement by Conyers. 'The current process includes the signing of non-disclosure agreements by the parties involved,' Pelosi said in a statement.

'Congresswoman Jackie Speier has introduced legislation that will provide much-needed transparency on these agreements and make other critical reforms. I strongly support her efforts.'

A spokeswoman for House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin, did not immediately provide comment Monday.

Seems to know quite a lot about sexual settlements that she is 'unaware' of.

Tactically she saying he's a Democrat and both parties signed off on it so everything is hunky-dory. Of course, she would have reached the same conclusion had it been a Republican.

Trump Jr. Communicated With WikiLeaks Before Election

Shakespeare's play Much Ado About Nothing comes to mind.

Let's compare and contrast.

Bradley Manning, as he was know then, was an Army private convicted of leaking hundreds of thousands of classified documents to the website WikiLeaks and was sentenced to 35 years in prison. Barry saw fit to commute his sentence to 7 years. Think about it. If you're going to shave 28 years off a 35 year sentence one can only assume Barry deemed his offense was not that egregious. If you look at Donald Trump Jr's crimes communications with WikiLeaks his behavior was trivial in comparison. Furthermore, if he was involved in a Russian collusion plot or any other wrongdoing and he wanted to cover his tracks would he use direct messages on Twitter? Surely there must be a more stealthy line of communication.

Donald Trump Jr. secretly communicated with WikiLeaks leading up to the election last fall, according to a new report.

The organization published classified and/or leaked content on its website, including emails from the Democratic National Committee that painted Hillary Clinton and others in a bad light.

The Atlantic reported Monday that someone at WikiLeaks communicated with Trump Jr. on several occasions via direct messages on Twitter. The messages began last September and ended this July, although Trump Jr. stopped responding last October.

The first communication, according to The Atlantic, occurred Sept. 20, 2016.

"A PAC run anti-Trump site putintrump.org is about to launch. The PAC is a recycled pro-Iraq war PAC. We have guessed the password. It is 'putintrump.' See 'About' for who is behind it. Any comments?" WikiLeaks wrote.

That website was started by tech entrepreneur Rob Glaser and was bankrolled by the Progress for USA Political Action Committee.

"Off the record, I don't know who that is, but I'll ask around. Thanks," Trump Jr. responded the following day.

In the months that followed, WikiLeaks would ask Trump Jr. for favors or provide information to him. Trump Jr. did not respond to every message, The Atlantic reported. Among WikiLeaks' requests were:
Asking for President Donald Trump's tax returns. Trump Jr. did not respond.
Asking that President Trump request WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange be appointed Australian ambassador to the U.S. Trump Jr. did not respond.
Asking that President Trump tweet a link to WikiLeaks' trove of stolen and leaked documents. President Trump posted a tweet 15 minutes later that praised WikiLeaks (it did not contain the link). Trump Jr. tweeted out the link two days later.

Trump Jr.'s lawyers gave the Twitter messages to congressional investigators as they dig into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in any way.

Trump Jr. has come under fire for meeting with Russians at Trump Tower in the summer of 2016, a meeting that was set up on the premise of providing damaging information about Clinton to the Trump camp.
