Collins...has an Abraham Lincoln moment!

Susan Collins riveting speech to confirm Judge Kavanaugh. It's rather long but well worth watching

I'm no fan of Susan Collins and not saying this because she’s a yes vote. But this was one of te greatest speeches I ever heard. She REALLY did her homework on Kavanaugh critiquing every major legal decision he has made during his career as a judge. She came across as profound,  sincere, and a far more in-depth analysis then anyone else provided regarding his ‘judicial worthiness’.

I could see Murkowski cowering in a corner rethinking her no vote on the judge.

Speaking of Murkowski...

Grassley on Anti-Kavanaugh Protesters: The Left's 'Resistance Headquarters' Is Now Capitol Hill

Senators confronted by numerous protesters liberal dogs in D.C.

Most of the swing senators were shouted down to the point reporters could not even conduct an interview in the hallways of the Capitol. This is how they operate. The "resistance" defined...we refuse to accept the results of the 2016 presidential election. Pay particular attention to the last paragraph in the article below. So how many of the protestors do you think were getting paid?

PS:
Have you ever noticed they have a distant relationship with a bar of soap?

-----------------------------

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said Friday morning that the headquarters of the anti-Trump "resistance" has moved to the nation's capital.

Several hundred protesters, including actresses Amy Schumer (scumbags run in the Schumer family) and Emily Ratajkowski, flooded the open-air lobby of the Hart Senate Office Building Thursday in opposition to the looming confirmation vote for Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

The demonstrations are expected to continue through the weekend, as a final vote on Kavanaugh is planned for Saturday.

"You’ve heard about the resistance since November 2016. You’re seeing the resistance headquarters right here on Capitol Hill, all among Democrats," the Judiciary Committee chairman said, calling out Democratic lawmakers for encouraging protesters to confront lawmakers and Trump administration officials in public.

Several Republican senators and Democrat Joe Manchin have been confronted by protesters upset that Kavanaugh could be confirmed to the high court despite a sexual assault allegation against him.

President Trump Took on the protesters directly, Trump said in Friday’s tweet: “Don’t fall for it!”

Some of the women protesting are members of or paid staffers for activist groups. Ana Maria Archila, one of the two women who confronted Flake, is co-executive director of the nonprofit Center for Popular Democracy Action. She said Friday that if Trump “wants to say I have a job where I advocate for justice, he is right.”

Media Matters is also a nonprofit organization. Don't be mislead. Nonprofit has more to do with not paying taxes than anything else.

Tell me their not another arm of the Democratic party as is the ALCU.

Congratulations America

The rule of law still prevails.

Although the Kavanaugh hearing wasn't a criminal trial it might as well have been.

------------------------------

Presumption of Innocence

One of the most sacred principles in the American criminal justice system, holding that a defendant is innocent until proven guilty.

The phrase “beyond the shadow of a doubt" is commonly used in criminal trial proceedings. In a criminal court of law, juries are often asked to determine if there is any reasonable doubt concerning whether an individual committed a crime. They are not required to decide if the defendant is absolutely guilty, or absolutely innocent. They are merely asked by the counsel for the defense if it is remotely possible that someone else committed the crime.

The job of the prosecuting counsel Democrats is to provide evidence that proves concretely that no other person could have possibly carried out the crime in question. The prosecuting counsel Democrats must establish their case beyond the shadow of a doubt. If any doubt remains in the minds of the jury, no matter how small, they are required to vote by law that the defendant not be convicted.

You will never see this interview on any of the major networks

When you're done watching it... you'll know why.

The Democrats have concluded due to his drinking and temperament Kavanaugh is not fit to be a Supreme Court justice. But Barry is uniquely qualified to be POTUS?

Talk about a double standard!

Blumenthal lectured embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on the importance of not telling even a single lie

Read the excerpt... or watch this POS in action.

EXCERPT:

BLUMENTHAL: “As a federal judge, you’re aware of the jury instruction falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus, are you not? You’re aware of that jury instruction.”

KAVANAUGH: “I am.”

BLUMENTHAL: “You know what it means.”

KAVANAUGH: “You can translate it for me, Senator, you can do it better than I can.”

BLUMENTHAL: “False in one thing, false in everything, meaning in jury instructions, that we — some of us, as prosecutors, have heard many times, is told a jury that they can disbelieve a witness if they find them to be false in one thing. So, the core of why we’re here today really is credibility.

----------------------------

Blumenthal's own history with the truth is coming back to haunt him.

"False in one thing, false in everything"?

President Trump and Republican lawmakers noted the hypocrisy of those words coming from Blumenthal, who has been criticized for lying about his military service during the Vietnam War.

Blumenthal has implied in the past that he served on the ground in Vietnam, although he reportedly obtained at least five military deferments between 1965 and 1970. He eventually served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, but did not deploy to Vietnam.

“You have the great Vietnam War hero—who didn’t go to Vietnam—Blumenthal,” Trump said at a rally Monday evening. “How about Blumenthal? We call him ‘Da Nang Blumenthal.”

And it did. Remember this?
