Elizabeth Warren makes surprise appearance at Native American conference

She rolls in stupidity like a pig in mud. You would think, if she had any brains, she would distance herself from her fake alter ego 'Pocahontas'. But instead, doubles down in a show of imbecility.

---------------------------------------

In her speech, Warren called on Congress to take action on issues facing Native Americans, including the ‘alarming number of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls,’ as well as suicide rates among Native people, housing and health care.

This comes a week after Warren repeatedly apologized for claiming on a 1986 form to be ‘American Indian,’ saying she is not a citizen of any tribe.

Warren faced reporters last Wednesday after a bombshell report brought to light her state bar application form where she had made the claim.

With her presidential campaign on the line and a looming swing through key states, Warren expressed repeated regret – but didn’t rule out the possibility that there are more forms from that time period out there.

‘This is who I grew up believing with my brothers,’ said Warren, who was raised in Oklahoma.

‘This is our family story. It’s all consistent from that point in time. But as I said, it’s important to note I’m not a tribal citizen and I should have been more mindful of the distinction with tribal citizenship and tribal sovereignty.’

She referenced her previous apology call to a tribal chief about her earlier public release of a DNA test that showed a tiny fraction of native American blood. ‘That’s why I apologized to Chief Baker and why I made a very public apology about it,’ she said.

How things work in VA when the governor is Republican

To draw a comparison first the Democratic governor currently in office Ralph Northam.

Sad...but true. But he did say he was going to make the baby "feel comfortable" while the doctor and mother discuss how to dispose of the child.

OK, remember this guy?

Virginia Republican Governor Bob McDonnell.

In office
January 16, 2010 – January 11, 2014

This is what happened to McDonnell and his wife for supposedly receiving gifts from a Virginia businessman. Below is a brief summary described on Wikipedia.

On January 21, 2014, McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, were indicted on federal corruption charges for receiving improper gifts and loans from a Virginia businessman. They were convicted on most counts by a federal jury on September 4, 2014. McDonnell, the first Virginia governor to be indicted or convicted of a felony, was sentenced on January 6, 2015, to two years in prison, followed by two years of supervised release. However, he was free on bond during the subsequent appeals process.

On June 27, 2016, the United States Supreme Court unanimously overturned McDonnell's conviction and remanded the case back to a lower court. Less than three months later, the Justice Department announced that they would not prosecute the case again, and moved to dismiss the charges against the former governor and his wife. The case racked up over $27 million in legal bills, and McDonnell has taken four jobs to pay them off.

McDonnell currently serves as a professor at Regent University and runs The McDonnell Group, a real estate consulting firm, with his sister.

It only cost him  $27 million to be vindicated!

All I can say is who's actions are more egregious Northam or McDonnell?

President Trump is pressuring Democrats to come to a deal on border security after negotiations stalled over the number of beds used in detention facilities

WHAT...this sounds preposterous but it's true!

‘Illegals Over Americans’: Border Wall Talks Crumble As Trump Eyes Emergency Declaration

You would have to be Helen Keller not to see through this. So if the border patrol captured say 30,000 illegals, some of which are murderers, drug dealers, rapists, etc but only have 20,000 beds the Dems don't want them detained or deported preferring they be released on the streets of America. And using this philosophy they get reelected? I just don't f--king get it!

In the dog's own words.

Chucky must have thought…

They didn't have videos on record of what he says.

The bottom line is simply this. The Democrats are more interested in thwarting Trump's campaign promise of building the wall than protecting the lives of American citizens.

---------------------------------------------

Border wall negotiations on Capitol Hill crumbled over the weekend, increasing the chances President Donald Trump declares a national emergency Friday, three sources close to the process tell The Daily Caller.

The negotiations stalled over a Democratic demand that detention bed funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to house detained illegal immigrants be reduced in exchange for border wall funding. Lead Republican negotiator Sen. Richard Shelby told Fox News Sunday that the chances of a deal are “50/50,” after expressing optimism on Thursday.

An administration source directly involved in the process told the Caller that Trump began speaking more about declaring a national emergency Sunday after nearly a week of expressing optimism that the congressional talks could bear fruit. Trump also tweeted to that effect Sunday afternoon:

Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said he “absolutely cannot” rule out a shutdown on Fox News Sunday, later saying on NBC News that Trump is “going to do whatever he legally can to secure the border.”

Trump has signaled to White House negotiators and Capitol Hill Republicans that he is willing to accept a $2 billion figure in border wall funding, two sources close to the process tell the Caller. Democrats, however, have made any acceptance of this figure contingent on an agreement to limit funding for ICE detention beds. (RELATED: Raid Leads To More Than 100 ICE Arrests In New York)

Democrats say that a cap on ICE detention beds will disincentivize the agency from detaining illegal aliens who have not committed crimes in the U.S.

“A cap on ICE detention beds will force the Trump administration to prioritize deportation for criminals and people who pose real security threats, not law-abiding immigrants who are contributing to our country,” Congressional negotiator Lucille Roybal-Allard said in a Sunday statement.

Republicans and ICE itself counter that putting a cap on the number of illegal aliens it is capable of detaining would in effect mean free rein for murderers and gang criminals convicted of felonies.

An administration source involved in the process expressed outrage at the demand to the Caller, noting that the Democratic lawmakers are essentially risking another government shutdown or a national emergency declaration to secure status for people in the country illegally.

“Illegals over Americans,” the source said to the Caller.

Trump also expressed outrage at the Democratic demand on Twitter Monday morning, saying:

Trump is likely to share his thoughts on the developments at a Monday evening rally in El Paso, Texas which is set to take place less than 1,000 feet from a border wall.

Virginia Democrats back off plans to impeach lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax after TWO women accuse him of rape

WOW!

What a turn of events. Now a second woman has come forward and the Democrats have lost their 'appetite' for impeachment. Where are those Kavanaugh hating, "We believe women... we believe Christine Blasey Ford" protesters now? The two women accusing Fairfax are not believable but the Kavanaugh 'victims' are? What happened to the... "believe women" mantra now that the accused is a Democrat?

Total bullshit!
It has nothing to do with women and everything to do with party affiliation.

------------------------------------------

Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax

- (AP) -- A Virginia lawmaker on Monday backed off his plans to swiftly introduce an impeachment bill seeking the ouster of the state's leading black elected official as Democrats struggled to address revelations of past racist behavior and allegations of sexual assault roiling its highest levels of office.

The effort to impeach Democratic Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax was prompted by the emergence of two women who accused him of sexual assault in the 2000s. Fairfax has vehemently denied the claims and called for authorities, including the FBI, to investigate.

Democratic Del. Patrick Hope tweeted early Monday that he got "an enormous amount of sincere and thoughtful feedback" from colleagues after circulating a draft of his impeachment bill and that he sees that "additional conversations ... need to take place before anything is filed."

There's been little sign of a broad appetite for impeachment, with Democratic lawmakers set to finish this year's session by the month's end. But the Legislature is swirling with questions about lines of succession and the political fallout for Democrats should their governor, lieutenant governor or attorney general leave office, willingly or not.
