Because of AOC NY lost 25,000 Amazon jobs...now this

Pocahontas is on the warpath to destroy capitalism and the American economy in her quest to 'Socialize' the country. This article proves she's a few feathers short in the brain compartment.

Gotta love this:

Representatives for Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment. They're too busy hating Trump.

Warren says tech giants have ‘too much power,’ need breakup

NEW YORK (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren on Friday rolled out a proposal to break up the biggest U.S. technology companies, saying they have too much control over the economy and Americans’ lives.

In her pitch to rein in the influence of tech giants, the Massachusetts senator envisions legislation targeting companies with annual worldwide revenue of $25 billion or more, limiting their ability to expand and forcing parts of Google and Amazon’s current business structure to operate as separate entities.

As president, Warren said she would pick regulators who would seek to break up what she called “anti-competitive mergers” such as Facebook’s recent purchase of Instagram and Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods.

She made the pitch ahead of a rousing town hall appearance Friday in the New York City neighborhood where Amazon recently scrapped plans to open a new headquarters.

It’s Warren’s latest effort to shape the policy agenda for the rest of the Democratic presidential primary, coming after earlier announcements of a “wealth tax” plan on households with high net worth and a universal child care proposal.

Her tech agenda, coming at a time of rising public concern about the growing power of the dominant players, could force the rest of her rivals for the 2020 nomination to follow her lead.

During remarks before a crowd of more than 1,000 people in Queens, Warren touted elements of her new tech-industry plan as part of her stump speech. She took aim at Amazon’s search for lavish economic incentives from cities competing for its headquarters, likening the company’s efforts to pit areas against each other to the dystopian film “The Hunger Games.”

“That’s what’s wrong with the system. It’s not just that big tech companies like Amazon have enormous market power, which they do. They have enormous political power,” Warren told the audience, describing the industry’s lobbying expenditures as a “good return on investment if they can keep Washington from enforcing the antitrust laws.”

It remains to be seen whether Warren will introduce legislation in the current Congress aligning with the first element of her plan. A spokeswoman, Kristen Orthman, said a bill introduction was not imminent.

Warren’s latest policy proposal also promised to be a central element of her scheduled visit Saturday to the South by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas.

Sen. Kamala Harris of California represents the tech industry’s home state, while Sen. Cory Booker has come under scrutiny for his past ties to tech companies — though he’s stepped up his criticism of the industry in recent years.

Facebook spokeswoman Monique Hall said the company had no comment on Warren’s proposal. Representatives for Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

If it's bad the media puts a TRUMP STAMP on it

Wrote a post the other day.

I was going to include this. But decided not to.

Then I read this today.
I wasn't far off.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo accused of politicizing Alex Trebek’s cancer diagnosis

The Media Research Center accused CNN’s Chris Cuomo of politicizing Alex Trebek’s cancer diagnosis by praising the "Jeopardy!" host for putting facts first during a time of “rampant truth abuse in our politics.”

Trebek revealed in a YouTube video Wednesday night that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The “Cuomo Prime Time” namesake then made “veiled references to President Trump” and “used the news to promote CNN’s empty slogan” when covering the news, according to MRC analyst Nicholas Fondacaro.

“In a time that is all about what is keeping us apart, we got tough news today about someone who has always brought America together, literally for decades,” Cuomo said. “Trebek is a major asset to our culture, not just to the game show. In a time of shallow beliefs and rampant truth abuse in our politics and beyond, every night he makes facts first.”

Cuomo is a first class POS just like his brother.

Alex Trebek’s cancer diagnosis gave Chris Cuomo an opportunity to make “veiled references to President Trump,” according to a media watchdog.

Fondacaro wrote that “Cuomo treats his show as a prosecutor’s argument and courtroom against President Trump” and feels his message to Trebek was no exception.

“Seemingly every night, Cuomo uses his show to rail against the President with suggestions he’s tearing us apart and poisoning the dialogue with lies and misinformation. So, given that blatant history, it’s clear that Cuomo exploiting Trebek’s cancer diagnosis to score political points,” Fondacaro wrote.

Fondacaro noted that Cuomo “has a history keeping nothing sacred and away from politics,” pointing to a Nov. 2018 segment in which he managed to politicize Thanksgiving.

Cuomo also referenced that the "Jeopardy!" host puts “facts first,” which is CNN’s tagline for its ad campaign that declares apples are superior to bananas. “Cuomo Prime Time” is typically CNN’s most-watched program but it struggles compared to other cable news networks. During the month of February, “Cuomo Prime Time” was CNN’s highest-rated show but finished behind 14 FNC programs and eight MSNBC shows.

Michael Cohen... not exactly the Mother Teresa of witnesses

Whoops: Lanny Davis Says Michael Cohen DID Ask Trump for Pardon

A proverb Cohen never heard of.

Michael Cohen, President Trump's former attorney, and currently the Democrats' star witness, directed his lawyer last spring to ask the White House about a presidential pardon, contradicting his sworn testimony to Congress last week, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday evening.

“I have never asked for, nor would I accept, a pardon from Mr. Trump,” Cohen said in his prepared testimony before the House Oversight Committee on February 27.

Earlier this week, the WSJ reported that Cohen’s attorney Stephen Ryan had approached President Trump’s legal team about a pardon following the FBI raids of his home and office last April.

According to longtime Clinton confidant Lanny Davis, Cohen’s current lawyer, that outreach came at Cohen’s request.

“During that time period, he directed his attorney to explore possibilities of a pardon at one point with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani as well as other lawyers advising President Trump,” Davis told the WSJ, calling the discussions the “ongoing dangling of a possible pardon.”

All of the president's attorney's except for former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani publicly dismissed the possibility of a pardon.

Davis tried to claim that Cohen was referring to the time period “after July 2, 2018” after which he would reject a presidential pardon, but in his testimony, Cohen clearly said he had “never” asked for one.

"The defense now to Cohen saying under oath he NEVER asked for a pardon is a familiar one; What’s The Meaning of Never. Serial liars often try the same deception too often," Giuliani scoffed in a tweet Thursday. "Let’s hope Congress and DOJ are outraged at Cohen’s disrespecting them by perjuring himself repeatedly."

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted: "So when he was shut down looking for a pardon, he figured he could save his ass by telling weasel Adam Schiff whatever he wanted to hear?" He added that he hoped someone would look into the perjury and investigate Rep. Schiff's alleged leaks.

Last Thursday, House Oversight Committee Ranking Members Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) referred Cohen to the Justice Department for making a series of intentionally false statements during his public testimony the day before.

His false statement about asking for a pardon is just one more to add to the list.
