Omar Accused Of Affair With Married Man

Beth Jordan Mynett used divorce documents to accuse her husband Tim of an affair with radical Democrat Omar which began in April. Their relationship was first revealed by DailyMail.com. Jordan Mynett, 55, said her husband Tim, 38, told her in April he was 'romantically involved with' Omar, his boss, and said that he was 'in love' with her. The wronged wife used divorce documents in Washington D.C. to demand custody of their son and ownership of their marital home. Omar's campaign paid Mynett's company - E Street Group - more than $250K in consulting fees and travel expenses, dating from last August until June 11, according to Federal Election Commission records.

So I got this straight she's in the process of divorcing one guy, was accused of marrying her brother, and still finds time to have an affair with a married man.

Just wondering...Where the hell is the MSM?

----------------------------

Radical Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar has come under fire several times since becoming a member on Congress in January.

Aside from making a slew of anti-Semitic and controversial comments, Omar was recently accused of marrying her own brother to commit fraud.

Now, Omar has been accused of potentially having an affair with a married man who works closely with her campaign.

And the photos showing the two together and very close are shocking, especially given Omar is in the middle of a divorce and still hasn’t addressed allegations that she married her brother.

According to The Daily Mail, Omar may be carrying on an affair with Tim Mynett, a married man whose business has received over $250,000 from Omar’s campaign.

Mynett, a campaign fundraising strategist, is married to Dr. Beth Mynett, but the Daily Mail reports that he recently left their marital home and is now living in an apartment in Washington, D.C.

Photos show that Mynett and Omar are constantly by each other’s sides at events, traveling to Los Angeles, New York City, Austin and Seattle together.

Mynett has even met Omar's daughter Isra, 16, photographed together on two separate occasions. Pictured: Omar, Mynett and Isra in Los Angeles on July 15

Omar’s camp has paid Mynett’s company – E Street Group – more than $250,000 in consulting fees and travel expenses.

It’s not shocking or out of the ordinary for someone, even a lawmaker, to date someone.

What is unusual is that Omar is currently divorcing her second husband, has been accused of marrying her brother, and is now allegedly dating a married man while all of this is going on.

Omar is also facing allegations that she married her own brother for the sole purpose of committing marriage, immigration, and tax fraud.

The Muslim lawmaker allegedly filed illegal tax returns in 2014 and 2015.

Official documents suggest that Omar was living with her current husband, Ahmed Abdisalan Hirsi, throughout her entire legal marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, contradicting the story she tells to explain her multiple marriages.

Elmi is the man that critics allege is her brother.

And, putting the cherry on top, she refuses to answer questions or provide any documents that could clear up all of these allegations.

Her office has refused countless media inquires about allegations she married her brother.

And the Daily Mail reports that her office didn’t respond to several requests about whether she was having an affair with Mynett.

That is highly irregular and the sort of thing somebody would only do in response to a scandal they can’t win on.

In other words, Omar may be outright admitting that the allegations against her are true and that responding would be a loss for her.

Perhaps Omar knows that if she says nothing, the mainstream media will give her a pass and refuse to hold her accountable.

So rather than address the allegations, Omar is just riding it out and hoping that all of this will just go away.

For any reasonable observer, her refusal to comment on any of this sure looks like strong evidence against her.

Biden plunges, tied with Warren and Sanders in new national poll

Setting aside ALL the gaffes for a second...think this could be the reason?

A new national poll suggests a three-way tie between Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and former Vice President Joe Biden in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

And the survey – released Monday by Monmouth University – indicates a massive drop for Biden, the front-runner in the nomination race since before he declared his candidacy in late April. It also reflects an increase in support for both Sanders and Warren, the Democratic Party’s two progressive standard-bearers.

Sanders and Warren are both at 20 percent in the poll, with Biden at 19 percent. The former vice president plunged 13 percentage points from the 32 percent he stood in June in Monmouth’s last national poll on the Democratic nomination race. Sanders rose six points from the June poll, with Warren rising five points.

“The main takeaway from this poll is that the Democratic race has become volatile,” Monmouth University Polling Institute director Patrick Murray said.

“Liberal voters are starting to cast about for a candidate they can identify with," Murray said. "Moderate voters, who have been paying less attention, seem to be expressing doubts about Biden. But they are swinging more toward one of the left-leaning contenders with high name recognition rather than toward a lesser-known candidate who might be more in line with them politically."

© FoxNews.com 2020 hopeful Joe Biden is looking over his shoulder at Sen. Elizabeth Warren in Iowa and New Hampshire. The poll suggests Biden “suffered an across the board decline” with a 14-point drop from June to August with white Democrats, a 17-point free-fall among voters without a college degree, a 14-point plunge among men, a 13-point drop among women, and a nine-point deterioration among voters 50 and older. He also went from 40 percent in June to 22 percent now among Democrats who consider themselves moderate or conservative.

Most of Biden’s lost support in those groups shifted almost equally to Sanders and Warren.

Sen. Kamala Harris of California is a distant fourth in the Monmouth Poll, at 8 percent, with Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg both at 4 percent. Entrepreneur Andrew Yang is at 3 percent, with former Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro and best-selling spiritual author Marianne Williamson each at 2 percent. Everyone else questioned in the poll registered at 1 percent or less.

The Monmouth University Poll was conducted Aug. 16-20, with 800 adults nationwide questioned by live telephone operators. Results for the Democratic presidential nomination race were based on 298 registered voters who identified as Democrats or leaned towards the Democratic Party – and have a sampling error of plus or minus 5.7 percentage points.

Joe Biden mixes up New Hampshire with ‘scenic beautiful’ Vermont on campaign trail

Joe Biden confused New Hampshire and “scenic beautiful” Vermont on the campaign trail in his latest verbal slip-up.

The Democratic presidential front-runner apparently got the New England neighbors mixed up as he pressed the flesh in Keene, N.H.

“What’s not to love about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it? I mean this is sort of a scenic, beautiful town,” Biden told reporters.

Seconds earlier, the 76-year-old former vice president dismissed concerns about his age.

“If they’re concerned, don’t vote for me,” Biden said.

Keene is only about 10 miles from the Vermont state line. But presidential wannabes spend countless days tramping around New Hampshire to compete in its first-in-the-nation primary, while Vermont is an electoral afterthought.

The misstep was the latest gaffe for Biden, who often strays from his campaign script to bad effect, raising worries among some Democrats about whether he is the best choice to take on President Trump.

Special prosecutor named to look into Jussie Smollett case

CHICAGO (AP) — A Chicago judge on Friday named a special prosecutor to look into why state prosecutors abruptly dropped charges against actor Jussie Smollett that accused him of staging a racist, anti-gay attack against himself.

Cook County Judge Michael Toomin's appointment of former U.S. Attorney Dan Webb raises the possibility that the special prosecutor could bring new charges against the former "Empire" actor. Smollett, who is black and gay, maintains that the January attack was real and wasn't staged.

The Cook County state's attorney's office charged Smollett in February with 16 counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly staging the attack and lying about it to investigators. However, it dropped all of the charges a month later with little explanation, angering city officials and the police.

Webb told reporters after Friday's hearing that he was heading into the investigation with no preconceived notions about an outcome.

"I don't know where this case is going. The facts will take me where they take me," he said, adding that he couldn't provide a precise timetable but would move the investigation along as quickly as possible.

(According to Wikipedia Webb is a Republican... so something may actually come out of this)

In my opinion, Kim Foxx might be going the way of Mike Nifong.

Webb is arguably Chicago's most high-profile defense attorney of the last few decades and has been tapped five times previously to serve as a special prosecutor. His high-profile clients have included former Illinois Gov. George Ryan. As U.S. attorney in Chicago in the 1980s, he led the prosecution of several dozen corrupt Cook County judges, lawyers and police officers.

A former state appellate judge, Sheila O'Brien, petitioned for a special prosecutor, leading to Toomin's surprise ruling in June that one was warranted.

Smollett told police he was walking home early on Jan. 29 when two masked men approached him, made racist and homophobic insults, beat him and looped a noose around his neck before fleeing. He said his assailants, at least one of whom he said was white, told him he was in "MAGA country" — a reference to President Donald Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again."

Several weeks later, authorities alleged that Smollett had paid two black friends $3,500 to help him stage the attack because he was unhappy with his salary as an actor on "Empire" and wanted to drum up publicity for his career.

In his June ruling, Toomin suggested that the county's state's attorney, Kim Foxx, mishandled the Smollett case by appointing a top aide to oversee it after she recused herself.

Foxx had been in contact with a Smollett relative and was approached by former first lady Michelle Obama's one-time chief of staff on behalf of Smollett's family. Foxx explained at the time she was recusing herself to avoid "even the perception of a conflict" of interest.

In his ruling, Toomin said he had no problem with Foxx's February recusal but that it should have included a request for a special prosecutor. He said she had no right to hand it off to someone from her office, which he said amounted to naming her own special prosecutor.

Foxx has said Smollett was treated no differently than thousands of other defendants in low-level cases whose charges have been similarly dropped. Foxx also publicly wondered if her being black has anything to do with the criticism she has received.
