This is so Trump

Trump’s MAGA garbage truck expected to join inaugural parade

President-elect Donald Trump’s inaugural parade is expected to feature the MAGA-adorned garbage truck he rode last year in a nod to President Biden’s shot at the then-Republican nominee’s supporters.

The Make America Great Again-themed garbage truck, which made its first appearance on the campaign trail last October in Green Bay, Wis., is set to rumble down the streets of Washington, DC, during the traditional Inauguration Day parade held after the president takes the oath of office, multiple outlets reported on Monday.

Trump, donning an orange safety vest and hard hat, rode in the passenger seat as the “big, beautiful” truck maneuvered around a Wisconsin airport tarmac in a political stunt one day after Biden, 82, referred to Trump supporters as “garbage.”

“How do you like my garbage truck?” Trump asked reporters when he unveiled the vehicle before a rally in Green Bay.

“This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden,” he added.

The garbage truck followed Trump’s motorcade to the rally venue, where the 45th president – still wearing his workman’s vest – explained how the plan to seize on Biden’s attack with a customized sanitation vehicle was hatched.

“One of my people came in and said, ‘Sir, you know, the word garbage is the hottest thing right now. Would you like to drive a garbage truck?’” Trump said.

“And they pulled up this garbage truck – I don’t know how the hell they did it so fast,” he marveled.

Next week’s parade, organized by the Trump Vance Inaugural Committee, will take the newly-minted president from the Capitol Building down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.

About 7,500 participants representing veterans’ groups, first responders, high school and university marching bands, and equestrian teams are also expected to take part in the parade, which will commence immediately after the noon ceremony for Trump at the Capitol concludes.

Recall? He should be drawn and quartered

Recall effort against Newsom underway in California following alleged mishandling of LA fires

Knowing the dumbasses in California they get rid of him... and replace him with Harris!

A recall attempt to knock California Gov. Gavin Newsom out of office is underway as he faces sharp criticism for his handling of the Los Angeles wildfires — with opponents labeling his leadership a “series of catastrophic failures.”

Organizers against Newsom vowed to file papers in the next two weeks in hopes of jumpstarting the process that could lead to the Democrat’s ouster in the middle of his second term in the governor’s mansion.

The state chief executive — along with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass — is fighting for his political life as the wildfires have torched more than 40,000 acres (62.5 square miles, almost three times the size of Manhattan), destroyed more than 12,000 structures and killed at least 24 people.

Newsom is fighting for his political life.

“Under the reign of Governor Newsom, living in California has become impossible for average people through years of poor policies which have increased the costs of living, increased crime, increased drug use and homelessness, increased the cost of burden [sic] on small businesses and communities, while decreasing our professional standards, education standards, the disappearance of billions of taxpayers’ dollars to failed pet programs, and our public services,” one recall organizer, Randy Economy, said in a statement.

“This was most recently demonstrated by the woefully unprepared and incompetent response to the fires currently ravaging the Los Angeles area.”

He told Newsweek on Monday that plans for a recall were in the works before the wildfires started, but the chaos has “shortened our time frame and changed things.”

A notice of intent needs to be filed first and then recall supporters must collect about 1.3 million signatures in five months, according to the outlet.

Economy, who led a recall against Newsom in 2021, in late 2024 started the organization Saving California, which boasts a mix of professionals, working families and community advocates.

“Governor Gavin Newsom’s governance has been marked by a series of catastrophic failures, particularly his mismanagement of the recent wildfires, which have led to unprecedented displacement and destruction,” Dr. Houman David Hemmati, another organizer, also argued.

“Wildfires are a common and well-known issue in California. The fact that Governor Newsom has not been able to come up with any plan or prep after six years as governor and eight years as lieutenant governor shows that he is completely unprepared and lacks the compassion and will to lead California any longer,” Hemmati added.

Newsom, 57, easily survived the 2021 recall vote in a state where Democrats hold a clear advantage in voter registration over Republicans.

A spokesperson for Newsom dismissed the latest attempt to throw the Dem out of office, insisting to Newsweek that the governor is “100 percent focused on the fires, ongoing rescue efforts and the recovery process — not politics.”

“Readers still should have the context that the same group of far-right Trump acolytes have launched six different recall attempts against the governor since he’s taken office, each of which have failed spectacularly,” spokesperson Nathan Click said in a statement.

“Even Republican Party leaders have criticized these repeated attempts as a brazen campaign finance ‘grift,’ and the recall organizers have been sued by their own donors for pocketing funds raised previously.”

Meanwhile, an online petition calling for Bass, who was in Ghana when the fire erupted last week, to be removed from office has grown to nearly 130,000 signatures.

“We … urgently call for the immediate recall of [Bass] due to her gross mismanagement and failure to effectively respond to the devastating 2025 fires in and around the city,” part of the petition reads.

CONFIRMED... Homeless Arson Suspect Seized With blowtorch is an Illegal Mexican

An illegal Mexican just helped burn down LA. Now if you live there and that doesn't piss you off I don't know what will!!!

Just a suggestion:

The root cause of  LA problems. The MOST WANTED LIST. Take a minute to scroll through it. I bet at least 70% of them are illegal.

The homeless arson suspect arrested near one of the Los Angeles wildfires was revealed Sunday night to be an illegal immigrant.

The homeless arson culprit busted near a Los Angeles wildfire has been exposed as an illegal immigrant.

RadarOnline.com can reveal Mexican national Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva has been named a possible suspect in initiating the devastating fires, after a video showed him walking with a yellow blowtorch before being tackled by
angry locals in Calabasas, California.

Mexican national Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva was identified as the man with a blowtorch riding a bike through Woodland Hills.

On Thursday, Sierra-Leyva was allegedly spotted on a bicycle in Woodland Hills carrying a large "propane tank or a flamethrower."

He has since been accused of starting a fire behind a car before locals intervened and took action.

The Los Angeles wildfire has led to tens of thousands to evacuate their homes.

One witness told FOX 11 the suspect said: "I can't stop. I can't stop. I'm not putting this down. I'm doing this."

Another Los Angeles citizen, Local Renata Grinshpun, said the community stepped in as "a group" and added: "A few gentlemen surrounded him and got him on his knees.

"They got some zip ties and a rope, and we were able to do a citizens' arrest."

According to the LAPD, the Kenneth Fire, which began late Thursday afternoon and sparked mass evacuations in Calabasas, is being investigated as an arson crime.

LAPD senior lead officer Charles Dinsel said: "About 20 to 30 minutes later a suspect was detained over in Woodland Hills area by citizens. It is being investigated as a crime."

When the officer was asked if he believed the latest fire was started intentionally, he claimed: "At this time, that's what we believe. Yes."

Sources also said a resident called 911 around 4:30 p.m. Thursday to report a man attempting to start a fire on the 21700 block of Ybarra Road.

However, officials later stated they didn’t have enough probable cause to charge him with arson and instead arrested him for a probation violation.

LA Police Department Divisional Chief Dominic Choi said: "After the interview and additional investigative steps, looking at some additional evidence that was present, they made the determination that there was not enough probable cause to arrest this person on arson or suspicion of arson."

Officials stated the investigation is "ongoing", and Sierra-Leyva is scheduled to return to court on Monday.

Meanwhile, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is planning to file a detainer request for Sierra-Leyva, though they do not expect it to be honored due to California's sanctuary state law – according to Bill Melugin.

The Kenneth Fire, which began late Thursday afternoon and sparked mass evacuations in Calabasas, is being investigated as an arson crime.

The request comes as 24 people have been confirmed dead due to six simultaneous fires that have swept through L.A. over the past week.

At least 16 people have also been reported missing, and around 12,000 structures – mostly homes – have been damaged or destroyed.

A letter never sent

But should have been.

Ohio State loses to Michigan for the fourth straight time in The Game, despite being heavily favored and having the home-field advantage

 Dear Sherrone Moore:

Thank you for whipping our ass. It really stung, especially losing at the Horseshoe. But in reflection I want to personally thank you and your team. Michigan was the impetus, the motivation, that took us all the way to the National Championship. There are no words to express my gratitude. I went from a bum to the most secure head coaching job in college football. I'll probably get a raise. Looking forward to playing you next year in Michigan. I know we can return the favor but with a different end result.

Sincerely
Ryan Day

Ten to one he's illegal

Homeless man with ‘flamethrower’ busted on suspicion of arson near LA’s Kenneth Fire after residents detain him

Update:

Laura Ingraham is reporting Miguel Mercado Vasquez the guy with the blowtorch is illegal. You probably wouldn’t hear that from any other news source.

A homeless man has been busted on suspicion of arson close to where one of the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles broke out — after brave locals tackled him as he used what looked like a “flamethrower.”

The unidentified suspect was seen riding around Woodland Hills on a bicycle on Thursday afternoon setting fire to several old Christmas trees and garbage cans at the same time as the Kenneth Fire started, locals said.

Renata Grinshpun told KTLA she was in her backyard when she heard a car screech to a stop and a man yelling, “Neighbors, he’s trying to start a fire! Call 911!’”

She saw the suspect holding a large “propane tank or a flamethrower” — which others described as a blowtorch — as he tried to torch debris in the street.

Neighbors jumped into action and cornered the man as he tried to ride off, as caught in part in a video — with one man demanding: “Put it down!”

“We really banded together as a group,” Grinshpun told KTLA. “A few gentlemen surrounded him and got him on his knees. They got some zip ties, a rope and we were able to do a citizens’ arrest.”

One witness told Fox 11 that the suspect was “very focused on moving forward” with what the described as being more like a blowtorch.

“He was like, ‘I can’t stop. I can’t stop. I’m not putting this down. I’m doing this,'” the witness said.

“And we’re like, ‘We can’t be doing that right now.'”

The LAPD confirmed an arson investigation was launched.

Asked if the Kenneth Fire was started by an arsonist, LAPD Senior Lead Officer Sean Dinse told KTLA: “At this time, that’s what we believe. It’s being investigated as a crime.”

However, referring to the arrest, the LAPD stated on X late Thursday: “We CANNOT confirm any connection to any fire by this suspect at this time.”

The Los Angeles Fire Department initially issued mandatory evacuation orders for the area known as Hidden Hills, but downgraded that to mere warnings, according to the outlet. AP

The suspect is believed to be homeless. LAPD confirmed that he was arrested and taken to the department’s Topanga station.

No charges appear to have been pressed.

The Kenneth Fire sparked just after 2:30 p.m. and has since exploded to 960 acres and continues to rip through Ventura County with 0% containment as of Friday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department initially issued mandatory evacuation orders for the area known as Hidden Hills, but downgraded that to warnings, Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley said in an update Thursday night.

At least 20 people were arrested Wednesday and Thursday morning for looting homes damaged or destroyed by the catastrophic wildfires ripping through the City of Angels, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Five separate fires sparked Tuesday morning, and days later have ravaged nearly 30,000 acres (47 square miles) in Los Angeles County, causing mass destruction and evacuations.

Some 130,000 Californians have been under evacuation orders from the multiple major fires, which include the Palisades Fire west of Los Angeles, the Eaton Fire north of Pasadena and the Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills.

The largest blaze, the Palisades Fire, has burned nearly 20,000 acres alongside the coast and destroyed more than 5,000 homes and structures in its path.

The out-of-control Eaton Fire has now destroyed or damaged between 4,000 and 5,000 homes as the growing blaze exploded to 13,690 acres on Thursday, officials said.

The cause of the five fires, three of which were completely un-contained, remain unknown and are under investigation.

At least 10 people are dead.
