A glaring double standard

Remember this fiasco?

At a Planned Parenthood luncheon in San Jose California yesterday, Sen. Barbara Boxer launched a full bore attack on Republicans, after Missouri U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin made his comments about "legitimate rape."

"There is a war against women, and Romney and Ryan — if they are elected — would become its top generals," Boxer said calling Akin's comments a "direct outgrowth" of the extreme positions on abortion held by Republicans.

"Where's the outrage by Mitt Romney?" Boxer asked, "There is a sickness out there in the Republican Party, and I'm not kidding. Maybe they don't like their moms or their first wives; I don't know what it is."

For starters Romney called for Akin to drop out. What does the bitch want Romney to do... shoot him!

Tell me her statement is not on par with Akin's.

Someone call a doctor... I must be hallucinating

First thought...  It's a joke. It had to be photoshopped.
It wasn't.

Second thought...Misleading cover title to arouse interest only to genuflect before the Messiah towards the end.
It wasn't.

Third thought... Have my bottles of liquid refreshment (libations) tested to see if any form of contamination or traces of foreign substances namely drugs were added.
It wasn't.

Finally it hit me.

They're just trying to act like a creditable news organization.

When the cheerleaders turn on you... the wolves are knocking on the door.

10 Poorest Cities in America

On a tip from Keith Grant

VERY INTERESTING ALL THE WAY TO THE END….

10 Poorest Cities in America and how it happened
City, State, % of People Below the Poverty Level

1. Detroit , MI
32.5%

2. Buffalo , NY
29.9%

3. Cincinnati , OH
27.8%

4. Cleveland , OH
27.0%

5. Miami , FL
26.9%

26.4%

8. Milwaukee , WI
26.2%

9. Philadelphia , PA
25.1%

10. Newark , NJ
24.2%

What do the top ten cities (over 250,000 population) with the highest poverty rate all have in common?

Don't make me tell you what Einstein said.

Detroit, MI
(1st on the poverty rate list)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor
since 1961

Buffalo, NY (2nd)
hasn't elected one since 1954

Cincinnati, OH- (3rd)..
since 1984

Cleveland, OH- (4th)..
since 1989

Miami, FL - (5th)
has never had a Republican mayor

St. Louis, MO - (6th)..
since 1949

El Paso, TX- (7th)
has never had a Republican mayor

Milwaukee , WI- (8th)
since 1908

Philadelphia, PA- (9th)..
since 1952

Newark, NJ- (10th)...
since 1907.

It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats....
yet they are still POOR!

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up
by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man
by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage
by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them,
what they could and should do for themselves."

Abraham Lincoln

Ryan breaks the mold

This is what we need to see. We have been cast as the party of "stodgy old white people".

According to FOX commercials we buy gold.

Ride the ACORN chair lift up and down stairs.

We have to bathe in a specially designed bath because we are so feeble we may fall.

And I guess were so stupid we are going to allow the Fonz to talk us into a reverse mortgage.

Thanks Mitt.
For the go big or go home doctrine putting us in a new light.

PS:
I never liked the name of that chair.

Giuliani Wonders Whether Biden Has ‘Mental Capacity’ for Presidency

On a tip from Ed Kilbane

I don't think anyone can define Biden better then this.

Romney should interject this into a campaign ad.
