33 shocking facts since Barry became president

On a tip from Phil McCafferty

Conservative Action Alerts

Barry has been running around the country taking credit for an “economic recovery”, but the truth is that things have not gotten better under Obama. Compared to when he first took office, a smaller percentage of the working age population is employed, the quality of our jobs has declined substantially and the middle class has been absolutely shredded. If we are really in the middle of an “economic recovery”, why is the homeownership rate the lowest that it has been in 18 years? Why has the number of Americans on food stamps increased by nearly 50 percent while Obama has been in the White House? Why has the national debt gotten more than 6 trillion dollars larger during the Obama era? Obama should not be “taking credit” for anything when it comes to the economy. In fact, he should be deeply apologizing to the American people.

And of course Obama is being delusional if he thinks that he is actually “running the economy”. The Federal Reserve has far more power over the U.S. economy and the U.S. financial system than he does. But the mainstream media loves to fixate on the presidency, so presidents always get far too much credit or far too much blame for economic conditions.

But if you do want to focus on “the change” that has taken place since Barack Obama entered the White House, there is no way in the world that you can claim that things have actually gotten better during that time frame. The cold, hard reality of the matter is that the U.S. economy has been steadily declining for over a decade, and this decline has continued while Obama has been living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

It is getting very tiring listening to Obama supporters try to claim that Obama has improved the economy. That is a false claim that is not even remotely close to reality. The following are 33 shocking facts which show how badly the U.S. economy has tanked since Obama became president…

#1  When Barack Obama entered the White House, 60.6 percent of working age Americans had a job. Today, only 58.7 percent of working age Americans have a job.

#2  Since Obama has been president, seven out of every eight jobsthat have been “created” in the U.S. economy have been part-time jobs.

#3  The number of full-time workers in the United States is still nearly 6 million below the old record that was set back in 2007.

#4  It is hard to believe, but an astounding 53 percent of all American workers now make less than $30,000 a year.

#5  40 percent of all workers in the United States actually make less than what a full-time minimum wage worker made back in 1968.

#6  When the Obama era began, the average duration of unemployment in this country was 19.8 weeks. Today, it is 36.6 weeks.

#7  During the first four years of Obama, the number of Americans “not in the labor force” soared by an astounding 8,332,000. That far exceeds any previous four year total.

#8  According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the middle class is taking home a smaller share of the overall income pie than has ever been recorded before.

#9  When Obama was elected, the homeownership rate in the United States was 67.5 percent. Today, it is 65.0 percent. That is the lowest that it has been in 18 years.

#10  When Obama entered the White House, the mortgage delinquency rate was 7.85 percent. Today, it is 9.72 percent.

#11  In 2008, the U.S. trade deficit with China was 268 billion dollars. Last year, it was 315 billion dollars.

#12  When Obama first became president, 12.5 million Americans had manufacturing jobs. Today, only 11.9 million Americans have manufacturing jobs.

#13  Median household income in America has fallen for four consecutive years. Overall, it has declined by over $4000 during that time span.

#14  The poverty rate has shot up to 16.1 percent. That is actually higher than when the War on Poverty began in 1965.

#15  During Obama’s first term, the number of Americans on food stamps increased by an average of about 11,000 per day.

#16  When Barack Obama entered the White House, there were about 32 million Americans on food stamps. Today, there are more than 47 million Americans on food stamps.

#17  At this point, more than a million public school students in the United States are homeless. This is the first time that has ever happened in our history. That number has risen by 57 percent since the 2006-2007 school year.

#18  When Barack Obama took office, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline was $1.85. Today, it is $3.53.

#19  Electricity bills in the United States have risen faster than the overall rate of inflation for five years in a row.

#20  Health insurance costs have risen by 29 percent since Barack Obama became president, and Obamacare is going to make things far worse.

#21  The United States has fallen in the global economic competitiveness rankings compiled by the World Economic Forum for four years in a row.

#22  According to economist Tim Kane, the following is how the number of startup jobs per 1000 Americans breaks down by presidential administration

Bush Sr.: 11.3

Clinton: 11.2

Bush Jr.: 10.8

Obama: 7.8

#23  In 2008, that total amount of student loan debt in this country was 440 billion dollars. At this point, it has shot up to about a trillion dollars.

#24  According to one recent survey, 76 percent of all Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.

#25  During Obama’s first term, the number of Americans collecting federal disability insurance rose by more than 18 percent.

#26  The total amount of money that the federal government gives directly to the American people has grown by 32 percent since Barack Obama became president.

#27  According to the Survey of Income and Program Participation conducted by the U.S. Census, well over 100 million Americans are enrolled in at least one welfare program run by the federal government.

#28  As I wrote about the other day, American households are now receiving more money directly from the federal government than they are paying to the government in taxes.

#29  Under Barack Obama, the velocity of money (a very important indicator of economic health) has plunged to a post-World War II low.

#30  At the end of 2008, the Federal Reserve held $475.9 billion worth of U.S. Treasury bonds. Today, Fed holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds have skyrocketed past the 2 trillion dollar mark.

#31  When Barack Obama was first elected, the U.S. debt to GDP ratio was under 70 percent. Today, it is up to 101 percent.

#32  During Obama’s first term, the federal government accumulated more new debt than it did under the first 42 U.S presidents combined.

#33  When you break it down, the amount of new debt accumulated by the U.S. government during Obama’s first term comes to approximately$50,521 for every single household in the United States. Are you able to pay your share?

Rise in violence 'linked to climate change'...sure it is

No doubt you have read Chicago's rise in crime is directly linked to climate change.
But now it has spread worldwide.

The first rise in violence occurred when Cain killed Able. I can see the good Lord now sitting on a cloud scratching his head...got to do something about this climate change.

This story below, and I do mean story could have served Barry quite well.

Reporter: What happened in Benghazi?
Barry: It was the result of a video

vs

Reporter: What happened in Benghazi?
Barry: It was violence linked to climate change

One is about as plausible as the other.

National Weather Service meteorologist Gary Conte:

It felt like the first day of fall, the kind of day for which the word "lovely" was made, the clear, autumnal sky at once flat and deep, stretched taut over the city.

At 7 am, the temperature was 67 degrees. At 8 am, it was 70. By 9 am, it had risen to 73. But by then, no one was thinking about the weather.

Tuesday, September 11, 2001

The researchers looked at 60 studies from around the world, with data spanning hundreds of years.

OK... they want to conflate violence with climate change siting "60 studies" that "span hundreds of years".

How in the hell do you do that without once mentioning the words Islam or Muslim?

Rise in violence 'linked to climate change'

2 August 2013 Last updated at 03:18 ET By Rebecca Morelle Science reporter, BBC World Service

The researchers believe that war and personal conflicts are links to shifts in climate

Shifts in climate are strongly linked to increases in violence around the world, a study suggests.

US scientists found that even small changes in temperature or rainfall correlated with a rise in assaults, rapes and murders, as well as group conflicts and war.

The team says with the current projected levels of climate change, the world is likely to become a more violent place.

The study is published in Science.

Marshall Burke, from the University of California, Berkeley, said: "This is a relationship we observe across time and across all major continents around the world. The relationship we find between these climate variables and conflict outcomes are often very large."

The researchers looked at 60 studies from around the world, with data spanning hundreds of years.

They report a "substantial" correlation between climate and conflict.

Their examples include an increase in domestic violence in India during recent droughts, and a spike in assaults, rapes and murders during heatwaves in the US.

The report also suggests rising temperatures correlated with larger conflicts, including ethnic clashes in Europe and civil wars in Africa.

Biological root?

Mr Burke said: "We want to be careful, you don't want to attribute any single event to climate in particular, but there are some really interesting results."

The researchers say they are now trying to understand why this causal relationship exists.

"The literature offers a couple of different hints," explained Mr Burke.

"One of the main mechanisms that seems to be at play is changes in economic conditions. We know that climate affects economic conditions around the world, particularly agrarian parts of the world.

"There is lots of evidence that changes in economic conditions affect people's decisions about whether or not to join a rebellion, for example."

But he said there could also be a physiological basis, because some studies suggest that heat causes people to be prone to aggression.

"It is a major priority for future research to distinguish between what is going on in each particular situation."

The scientists say that with the current projected levels of climate change the world is likely to become a more violent place.

They estimate that a 2C (3.6F) rise in global temperature could see personal crimes increase by about 15%, and group conflicts rise by more than 50% in some regions.

Commenting on the research, Dr Stephan Harrison from the University of Exeter said it was a "timely study".

"What they have found is entirely plausible... For example, we already know that hotter and drier weather causes an increase in urban violence. Likewise, during cooler and wetter weather people tend to stay indoors, and the threat diminishes."

However, other researchers have questioned whether climate breeds conflict.

Work published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggested that this environmental factor was not to blame for civil war in Africa.

Instead, Dr Halvard Buhaug, from the Peace Research Institute Oslo, Norway, concluded that the conflict was linked to other factors such as high infant mortality, proximity to international borders and high local population density.

Commenting on the latest research, he said: "I disagree with the sweeping conclusion (the authors) draw and believe that their strong statement about a general causal link between climate and conflict is unwarranted by the empirical analysis that they provide.

"I was surprised to see not a single reference to a real-world conflict that plausibly would not have occurred in the absence of observed climatic extremes. If the authors wish to claim a strong causal link, providing some form of case validation is critical."

NAACP: In the world of politics you better learn how to suck it up

Source: Breitbart

On Tuesday, the Missouri State National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) issued a statement asking for federal involvement in the case of a rodeo clown who wore an Obama mask and then asked the crowd if they'd like to see Obama run down by a bull. "The activities at the Missouri State Fair targeting and inciting violence against our President are serious and warrant a full review by both the Secret Service and the Justice Department," said State President Mary Ratliff. "Incidents involving individuals acting out with extreme violent behavior in movie theaters, schools, churches, political appearances, and outdoor events in general speaks volume to the irresponsible behavior of all the parties involved with the incendiary events at the Missouri State Fair."

In this 21 second video the NAACP  would go in to convulsions if  Barry was substituted for Bush. Get a grip... grow a spine... you whining Sharptons!

Conservatives eat this stuff for breakfast!

Barry and Oprah are a bigger threat to the NAACP than this clown. It's beginning to sink in, the need for there existence,  and they don't like it.
They're grasping at straws, because without racism, they're out of business.

Ratliff went on to condemn the state's funding of the State Fair: "our Legislature has failed to support Medicare Expansion in Missouri, has consistently attempted to dismantle our Human Rights Commission, fail to adequately fund urban schools -- (who) are predominately African American -- yet they are subsidizing the Missouri State Fair to the tune of $400,000; we are calling for the subsidy to stop...[Governor Nixon's] planned Pancake Breakfast for Thursday should be his 'Last Supper' at the Missouri State Fair in response to the racially intolerant attacks on his Commander in Chief."

California Gov. Brown signs transgender-student bill

Before

After

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a controversial bill into law Monday afternoon allowing the state's transgender public school students to choose which bathrooms they use and whether they participate in boy or girl sports.

The law would cover the state's 6.2 million elementary and high school kids in public schools.

Supporters say the law will help cut down on bullying against transgender students, The families of transgender students have been waging local battles with school districts around the country over what restrooms and locker rooms their children can use.

"Now, every transgender student in California will be able to get up in the morning knowing that when they go to school as their authentic self they will have the same fair chance at success as their classmates," Masen Davis, Executive Director of Transgender Law Center said.

While California is the first state to pass a law of this magnitude, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington and Colorado have all adopted policies designed to protect transgendered pupils.

Not everyone is on board.

Opponents of the bill say allowing students of one gender to use facilities intended for the other could invade the other students' privacy.

Randy Thomasson, of savecalifornia.com, says the law would "damage" kids.

"This radical bill warps the gender expectations of children by forcing all California public schools to permit biological boys in girls restrooms, showers, clubs and on girls sports teams and biological girls in boys restrooms, showers, clubs and sports teams," Thomasson said. "This is insanity."

The California bill, which was backed by a coalition of organizations including Transgender Law Center, Gay-Straight Alliance Network, Gender Spectrum, Equality California, ACLU of California, National Center for Lesbian Rights and statewide teacher and parent organizations.

Barry sets the tone.. FORE... "phony sequestration"

After two back to back vacations costing millions...

He has the balls to say this?

Obama warns disabled veterans prolonged sequester could put their benefits in jeopardy

During these "desperate times" there always seems to be enough money for Barry. Extravagance is no stranger to him and his brood.
The dog actually flew privately to Marth's Vineyard on a MV-22 Osprey aircraft!

Barry tried to pull this same crap before during the government shut down. The first thing out of his mouth was, "I can't guarantee you those social security checks are going to go out."

So the first checks to go (according to him) are what people worked hard for, not the welfare checks to the freeloading bums who just sit on their ass and collect for doing nothing from one generation to the next.

We'll see how that works out.

--------------------------------------------

Saturday, Aug.10, 2013: President Obama speaks to injured veterans and guests at the Disabled American Veterans National Convention in Orlando, Fla. (AP)

President Obama took his case for ending the sequester to hundreds of disabled veterans Saturday, saying he protected their benefits from the "reckless" cuts to the federal budget but suggesting next year might be different.

"It's hurting our military. I made it clear that your veteran's benefits are exempt from this year's sequester," the president said to the applause of hundreds at the Disabled American Veterans' convention in Orlando, Fla. "But I want to tell you going forward the best way to protect the VA care you have earned is to get rid of this sequester altogether."

The president but the blame squarely on Congress, which returns in about four weeks to work on a new federal budget and increasing the federal debt limit.

"We've got these reckless, across-the-board budget cuts called the sequester that are hitting a lot of folks hard," Obama said. "Congress needs to come together and agree on a responsible plan that reduces our deficit and keeps our promises to our veterans and keeps our promises to future generations."

The cuts went into effect in March after Congress and the White House failed to agree on a more balanced plan to cut government spending.

Some Republicans have meanwhile said the president shares in the responsibility, considering he signed the 2011 Budget Control Act that raised the debt ceiling and led to sequester.

The president also told the veterans the government is making progress in reducing the backlog of disability claims but acknowledged the slow pace.

"It hasn't gone as fast as I've wanted," he said.

The staggering backlog of disability claims for compensation for illness and injury caused by military service has been a main concern for veterans.

The number of claims waiting to be processed ballooned under Obama, largely because the administration made it easier for Vietnam veterans who were exposed to the Agent Orange defoliant to get benefits.

The backlog recently has begun to shrink due to steps by the Department of Veterans Affairs, including requiring claims processors to work overtime and transitioning to a new computer system to help speed the judgment of claims. About 780,000 claims are pending. Currently, about 500,000 are considered backlogged, down from about 611,000 in March.

A claim is deemed backlogged if it has been in the system for 125 days, or roughly four months.

Cutting the backlog was part of a five-point plan the president unveiled that also included better health care for veterans and more funding for prosthetics for disabled veterans.

The president also discussed research into traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder and suicide among veterans and troops, as well as efforts to help veterans earn college degrees or get the credentials needed to compete for high-skilled jobs.

Beyond the backlogged claims, Republican lawmakers have begun to hammer the department on the issue of patient safety. A congressional hearing in Atlanta this past week focused on poor patient care linked to four deaths. Another hearing is scheduled for next month in Pittsburgh, where five veterans died as a result of a Legionnaire's disease outbreak in 2011-12.

Rep. Jeff Miller, R-Fla., chairman of the House Veterans' Affairs Committee, said he hoped Obama would use his appearance at the convention to make a personal commitment to solving both issues.

My guess... he's still languishing over his son.

Same scenario, different outcome.  Half way through this vicious attack the white kid pulls a "Bernie Goetz" takes out a Glock 19 increasing the number of dead sons in Barry's family by 3.

End result.

“A lot of these programs were put in place before I came in”

How subtle.

(His inheritance...the gift that keeps on giving)

Still blaming Bush well into his second term!

“I had these programs reviewed and I put in additional safeguards”

By that he means he put the NSA on steroids when it came to data mining. The Utah Data Center, over 1 million sq. ft. facility, is scheduled to be completed September 2013 at an estimated cost of $2 billion. This is to house all the phone records our government muscled away from Verizon, AT&T, etc.

Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, YouTube, Skype, AOL, etc were also strong-armed to supply internet searches by this administration.

Strong-armed is not in Barry's vocabulary. He likes to call it... "a modest encroachment".

A far cry from when he bemoaned Bush for the Patriot Act... Ya think?
(Senator Barry...Try finding this from the MSM)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ylVOdriEyA

Time Magazine.
Not exactly an enemy of Barry.

Telling Americans That Their Data is Being Collected Isn’t Legal:

The order specifically forbids Verizon from informing customers (or anyone else) that their data is being collected, stating “no person shall disclose to any other person that the FBI or the NSA has sought or obtained tangible things under this Order.”

To put things in perspective an excerpt from Forbes:

Much has been written about just how much data this facility might hold, with estimates ranging from “yottabytes”…to “5 zettabytes.” … a yottabyte = 1,000 zettabytes = 1,000,000 exabytes =…1 trillion terabytes. …you would need just 400 terabytes to hold all of the books ever written in any language!

Lets step back in time to 1968 when Sirhan- Sirhan assassinated RFK. Virtually every terror attack upon Americans to the present date with the exception of Oklahoma and Atlanta has been carried out by Muslims. So it stands to reason the government should target Muslims, but our government is "handcuffed" by political correctness. To draw a parallel...If your transmission slips on your car, to correct it, should you change the air in the tires?

To approach it another way and convince you I'm not totally full of crap look at it like this. If the Utah Data Center has just got to be a  $2 billion project, a million square feet, capable of harnessing a trillion terabytes, to justify this massive endeavor... there must be terrorists living on every street... in every state...  clear across America!

If you think this information will not be used for nefarious purposes just take a look at the current situation at the IRS.

Still in doubt? Check out the DOJ.

There is NO WAY you can spin this:

Stedman:

When asked if he ever wiretapped Rosen and the AP:

“That is not something that I’ve ever been involved in or heard of or would
think would be a wise policy. In fact my view is quite the opposite”

We found out later... this liar actually signed off on it.

If Ft. Hood was "workplace violence" then the Boston Bombing was a cooking accident

This story from all places The Daily Beast.

Hasan is representing himself which means this Muslim dog will be questioning the very victims he shot! So in a sense he gets to assault them twice. At first I was glad Hasan was paralyzed serving as a constance reminder of his actions. Now I would like to take him and his wheelchair atop Mt. Everest and let the good times roll.

Burn in hell you bastard!

----------------------------------------------------------

Nidal Hasan's Murders Termed 'Workplace Violence' by U.S.

As U.S. Army psychiatrist turned jihadi Nidal Hasan finally goes on trial for shooting 13 fellow soldiers to death at Fort Hood, here is what the government continues to classify the 2009 attack:

In what might be termed the audacity of nope, the government has declined to call this al Qaeda–inspired mass murder an act of terrorism because to do so would be "unfair to the victims."

(Victims being used by Barry)

Police officers Mark Todd and Kimberly Munley of Killeen, Texas, look on as first lady Michelle Obama waves to the chamber before Barack Obama's State of the Union address on January 27, 2010. (Mark Wilson/Getty)

The official reasoning is that it would jeopardize the case because, as stated in a Pentagon memo, "defense counsel will argue that Major Hasan cannot receive a fair trial because a branch of government has indirectly declared that Major Hasan is a terrorist—that he is criminally culpable."

That has not stopped the government from calling the 9/11 attacks anything but terrorism. The 9/11 memorial at the Pentagon has on display the Purple Heart, the medal awarded to all the soldiers who were killed or injured there that day.

But the Purple Heart has been denied the soldiers who were killed or wounded at Fort Hood. And, because they were classified as victims of simple calamity rather than of combat, they and their families have been denied the accompanying benefits. A number of them say they have not even been able to secure adequate care for their wounds.

And, perhaps in part because people assumed that the army would take care of the soldiers as it would any other fallen and wounded warriors, there was no huge outpouring of financial support for them as there would later be for, say, the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

To her great and everlasting credit, nobody has been more vocal about all this than one of the two heroic police officers who took Hasan down and ended the carnage.

"Betrayed is a good word," Police Sgt. Kimberly Munley has said of the way the soldiers have been treated.

Imagine coming home shaken up by the war and seeking psychiatric help and having this guy call you a war criminal?

Munley speaks up on behalf of the soldiers even though as a civilian she would be ineligible for the medal or the benefits, even though she was wounded in the attack.

And Munley has more than enough cause to complain about how she and her equally heroic comrade, Police Sgt. Mark Todd, have been treated themselves.

You likely recall all the accolades that Munley and Todd received after the attack.

Maybe you saw them on television seated beside the first lady at the State of the Union address, Munley still in pain from the bullet wound in her leg.

You may not know that both of them were subsequently laid off due to budget cuts.

You also may not know that Todd suffered a stroke this past Christmas, two days after returning from Afghanistan, having gone to work there for a civilian contractor when his heroism at Fort Hood failed to save him from being "excessed."

The stroke apparently left him unable to speak, but he has nonetheless been placed on the list of potential witnesses as the trial gets under way at Ford Hood.

The judge in the military tribunal initially denied—but may reconsider—a prosecution request for permission to submit instead Todd's testimony at an earlier hearing, when he had his full powers of speech. He may still be required to testify in writing.

Munley almost certainly will testify at the trial. Her lawyer, Reid Rubinstein, reports that she is as ready as ever to do whatever duty requires.

She is presently honoring a request by the prosecutors to refrain from public comment during the trial. But you can be sure she will have plenty to say afterward. And likely little of it will be about her own troubles.

In the meanwhile, Rubenstein has joined with another attorney, Neal Sher, in filing a lawsuit against the government on behalf of Munley, a number of the shot soldiers, and their families. The suit notes that the army and the FBI ignored repeated warnings that an increasingly militant Hasan was bent on jihadist violence.

The suit charges that, among other things, the authorities "knew or should have known that Hasan was abusing his patients, who were American soldiers returning from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, by calling them 'war criminals' in the course of psychiatric treatment sessions, and promising criminal prosecution against them because these soldiers had killed Taliban and other terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq."

Imagine coming home shaken up by the war and seeking psychiatric help and having this guy call you a war criminal?

Imagine later hearing that this same sick shrink was allowed just to spout lines from the Quran in place of the formal oral presentation required of all new doctors.

And that Hasan's communications with al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki were initially excused as research into radical Islam.

And that Hasan spoke of being "happy" when a fellow jihadist shot an American soldier to death outside an Arkansas recruiting station in June of 2009—a soldier who would also be denied a Purple Heart.

And that five months later Hasan allegedly went with a gun into an area where soldiers were either returning from a deployment or preparing to deploy.

Among those who were shot was Lt. Col. Juanita Warman, a physician who specialized in treating PTSD. She died while using her body to shield a fellow soldier, an act that should have earned her a medal for valor as well as a Purple Heart.

Also shot was Pvt. Francheska Velez, just back from Iraq, completing paperwork for education benefits and pregnant with her first child.

"She lived for a short time in terrible pain and agony, knowing that she and her child were dying," the lawsuit says.

The suit also says that just before the gunfire, Hasan was heard to shout, "Allah akbar!" as Awlaki had reportedly advised.

In 2011, Awlaki was killed by a drone strike in Yemen. The government said the killing was justified even though he was an American citizen because he was also an enemy combatant in a foreign land. He had, in the words of Attorney General Holder, "repeatedly made clear his intent to attack U.S. persons and his hope that these attacks would take American lives."

Yet the attack that Hasan allegedly carried out after being inspired and guided by Awlaki remains "workplace violence."

In an added twist, Hasan will be representing himself at the trial. That means Munley and perhaps even Todd may have to endure being cross-examined by him.

As a consolation, the cops might consider that the trial is going ahead only because the judge nixed Hasan's effort to avoid the death penalty by pleading guilty. He has apparently lost some of his fervor for martyrdom even though he has said in the past that martyrs are rewarded in paradise with 72 virgins.

Let us hope that whenever he departs this realm, if he meets anybody, Hasan is instead greeted by 13 soldiers with some serious anger to vent.
