Trump 'has spent $133,000 on White House furnishings in his first five months in office' - more than twice the amount Obama did

I guess they forgot Trump refused to take a $400,000 a year salary instead donated it to charity. The first president in history to do so. Unlike Barry's lavish golf vacations in Hawaii and other exotic destinations, Trump often owns the properties he plays golf on as well as the accommodations he stays at which are not charged to the taxpayer. The use of Air Force One as well as the security detail is charged to the taxpayer as with any president.

It makes me laugh when it comes to comparing Barry's spending 'habits' to Trump. Barry took a $10.6 trillion national debt he inherited... and almost doubled it before leaving office!!!

Give me a F-ing break.

--------------------------------------

President Donald Trump has spent more taxpayer funds on White House furnishings in the first five months of his administration than his predecessor, Barack Obama, spent in the same span of time, it was reported on Friday.

American Bridge PAC, an organization which is 'committed to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions,' obtained copies of federal procurement records through May 31, according to Mic.

The records show that in his first 150 days in office, Trump spent $133,053.95 on office furniture.

That's more than twice the amount that Obama spent in his first five months in office - $51,204.25.

The most notable purchase made by Trump was a $13,000 custom conference table from Kittinger Company.

Before Trump ran for office, he frequently criticized Obama for taking trips and vacations that cost significant taxpayer funds

Kittinger has 'built custom furnishings for many of the finest offices in this county and throughout the world, including many government offices at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue for more than two centuries.'

While Trump may have outspent Obama in the first five months, the 45th president has some catching up to do in June.

During Obama's first June in office, he spent almost a whopping $70,000.

So far, Trump has spent just south of $17,000 so far this month.

Trump also took Obama to task for playing too much golf.

Yet if current trends continue, Trump will surpass Obama in taxpayer expenditures on holiday travel as well as golfing.

In eight years in office, Obama spent $97million on travel that was not work-related, including ski trips to Aspen and vacationing in Martha's Vineyard, according to the conservative Judicial Watch.

In the first few months of the Trump administration, the president has spent in excess of $21million, according to CNN.

CNN also said Ossoff was going to win by 5 percentage points in GA.

This is how they looked when their own bullshit came back to slap them in the face.

You gotta love it!

Did Al call Marie Osmond?

Since Barry's absence, Al hasn't been living so high off the hog. No more WH visits. No more feasting on "Hands up don't shoot." No more banquets of "No Justice No Peace." I started to wonder about the IRS. Since he owes them millions and lost his protector Barry I thought he would make good on his promise to move to Canada if Trump won the election.

Of all the celebrities, can you name me one, just one, who actually moved to Canada? Liars all... Al is in good company.

Trump tweets support for Nancy Pelosi...sort of

Pelosi's party begins to turn on her after defeats, stagnation, and demand she quit her position as House Minority Leader.

Pelosi’s response was glorious:
"So you want me to sing my praises, is that what you’re saying? Why should I? Well, I’m a master legislator. I am a strategic, politically astute leader. My leadership is recognized by many around the country, and that is why I’m able to attract the support that I do, which is essential to our elections — sad to say."
She finished with, "How long I stay is not up to them."
Last time I checked it IS up to them.

President Donald Trump said he hopes Democrats keep Nancy Pelosi in her role as House Minority Leader.

Those thoughts - expressed this morning in a tweet from the president - aren't an endorsement of Pelosi, however. Rather, the president said having the California Representative in charge of Democrats is good for the Republican party.

Trump tweeted:

The tweet comes as Democrats are questioning if Pelosi is the right person to lead the party in the House.

"We need leadership change," New York Democratic Rep. Kathleen Rice recently told CNN. "It's time for Nancy Pelosi to go, and the entire leadership team."

Criticism of Pelosi increased after Democrats lost in a House special election in Georgia this week, with Republican Karen Handel's win over Jon Ossoff.

On Morning Joe Thursday, Rep. Kathleen Rice, D-N.Y., made a plea for Pelosi's ouster.

'Nancy Pelosi was a great speaker, she was a great leader, but her time has come and gone,' the New York Democrat said.

Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, had challenged Pelosi for her leadership position earlier this year, and agreed, during an interview on CNN Wednesday night, that Republicans' ads using her as a Democratic boogey-woman have been effective.

'I don't think it's fair,' Ryan told Don Lemon. 'But, clearly, these ads using her, linking her to our candidates is still working.'

'I mean, I wish it wasn't true,' he added.

Asked by Lemon if he thought Pelosi was more toxic than Trump, Ryan said yes.

'You know what, the honest answer is in some areas of the country – yes, she is. That's the honest answer,' Ryan answered.

Ryan told Lemon that earlier that night, another member of Congress, clearly a Republican, had pulled him aside and said, 'Please tell me you're not going to get rid of Nancy Pelosi, please tell me she's not going to retire because that's who I run against.'

'She's less popular than Donald Trump in my district,' Ryan admitted.

Pelosi wasn't the only one receiving the president's tongue-in-cheek good wishes.

Trump's comments about "crying Chuck" are in reference to Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer. The two have repeatedly sparred after Schumer burst into tears over the travel ban impacting his precious terrorists/Muslims.

Obama Issues Statement On Otto Warmbier After Being Blasted By Donald Trump & Man’s Parents

If I was Obama, who I can't stomach, I would have said:

"Of all the countries in the world to visit Otto had to go to North Korea?"

And Obama would be right. Look, I certainly feel bad the kid is dead but wonder where his brains were when he made the fatal decision to take a trip to North Korea. He was unaware of North Korea's track record of detaining Americas on phony trumped up charges to be used later as a bargaining chip? He's an adult, but what advice did his parents give him? Certainly, had anyone close to me said they were going to North Korea my response would be...what are you..nuts!?! Look at it like this. If I gave you an all expense paid 2-week vacation in North Korea would you take it? The silver lining is that 2-weeks could easily turn into 10 years.

I'll never make Wikipedia. Otto did, and sadly, it could have been easily avoided.

--------------------------------------

Former President Barack Obama has issued a statement about Otto Warmbier, American college student who died this week, days after being released from North Korea in a coma after more than a year in captivity.

“During the course of the Obama Administration, we had no higher priority than securing the release of Americans detained overseas,” Obama spokesman Ned Price said in the statement. “Their tireless efforts resulted in the release of at least 10 Americans from North Korean custody during the course of the Obama administration.”

It's true. His highest priority was getting prisoners released. In our jails and Gitmo.

Added Price, who was National Security Counsel spokesperson during Obama’s administration: “It is painful that Mr. Warmbier was not among them, but our efforts on his behalf never ceased, even in the waning days of the administration. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Warmbier’s family and all who had the blessing of knowing him.”

Warmbier’s father blasted Obama during a news conference at the time of his son’s release, when cued up with a question as to what more could have been done to secure the young man’s release before Donald Trump entered the White House.

“The question is, do I think the past administration could have done more?” he shot back. “I think the results speak for themselves.”

President Trump similarly asserted this week that “the results would have been different” had Warmbier been brought home sooner. He did not elaborate but added, “He should have been brought home that day.”

Warmbier had been sentenced to 15 years of hard labor after being found guilty of trying to steal a propaganda poster from a hotel during a January 2016 visit to North Korea’s capital.

Liberal Logic

If a politician gets shot it's a conservative's fault no matter what.

Video 355

It's clear from Pelley's commentary that his answers to all three elements are "Yes."

Hey, Pelly, the truth is Hodgkinson was a staunch Sanders supporter and campaigned for the left-wing senator to get the Democratic nomination for president last year.

Hodgkinson a madman, with a history of violence, was only too eager to get caught up in the liberal hysteria possibly inspired by the likes of the Hollywood crowd.

Wasn't it Madonna who put out a call to blow up the WH? Didn't Di Niro say he wanted to punch Trump in the mouth? Did Kathy Giffin cut his head off? And let's not forget Ashley Judd who said the Trump inauguration was akin to her being raped...again. I touched on only a few. Some liberals on Twitter and Facebook called for his assassination.

Liberals who won't let conservatives speak at certain colleges.. OWS.. BLM.. isn't their calling card phyisical violence and the destruction of property? In the last 8 years of Obama, how much violence and millions of dollars of property damage were perpetrated by liberals vs conservatives?

But that f-ing Scalise had it coming?

So when Gabby Giffords was shot by this guy.

A madman, of course, it was self-inflicted right?

No..No..No..that was Sarah Palin's fault.
