Julian Castro, former Obama official, forms 2020 presidential exploratory committee

The rats are starting to emerge from the woodwork.

He's married with kids which I think is just a scam to cover his homosexuality.
To make matters worse if he gets in you can forget about a wall and better start thinking about buying a sombrero especially after you read this! Julian Castro was born in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Maria "Rosie" Castro and Jessie Guzman. His mother was a Chicana political activist who helped establish the Chicano political party, La Raza

The dream ticket:
 (If you're a Democratic Socialist)

Julian Castro
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Their campaign slogan:

No Walls  No ICE
Welcome To Paradise

-------------------------------------------

“Americans are ready to climb out of this darkness. We’re ready to keep our promises. And we’re not going to wait. We’re going to work,” Castro, 44, said in a video. “That’s why I’m exploring a candidacy for president of the United States in 2020.”

An exploratory committee usually is a formality before a candidate launches a presidential campaign. It legally allows potential candidates to begin raising money.

The former San Antonio mayor said his official decision will be announced on Jan. 12. In the meantime, he encouraged voters to visit his website to receive email updates.

The early jump gives Castro an advantage as bigger name Democrats have continued to be floated as potential 2020 candidates, including Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Cory Booker of New Jersey. Former Vice President Joe Biden and outgoing Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who excited donors in his close race against Texas Sen. Ted Cruz this year, have also been rumored to be considering presidential bids.

"I'm also very mindful, especially now for the Latino community, that there's a particular meaning to my candidacy."— Julian Castro

Castro would be among the youngest candidates in the field and the most prominent Latino. He told The Associated Press he plans to consult leaders in his party but hasn’t spoken to Obama yet.

For Castro, running for president would fulfill a destiny that Democrats have projected since he was elected San Antonio mayor at 34, followed by his star-making turn as the keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention in 2012.

He is the grandson of a Mexican immigrant and son of a Latina activist. His twin brother, Joaquin Castro, is a Democratic congressman from Texas. The brothers were raised by a single mother who taught them to “make your future happen,” the former mayor said in his video.

Castro told The Associated Press the Latino community has been treated “like a piƱata” under President Trump.

"I'm also very mindful, especially now for the Latino community, that there's a particular meaning to my candidacy," Castro said. "We can't go through the 2020 cycle with nobody on that stage because of what's happened over the last couple of years."

Republican National Committee spokesman Michael Ahrens said there is no "bigger lightweight in the 2020 field than Julian Castro" in a statement provided to Fox News.

Romney, Flake, and McCain 3 peas in a pod...ahh make that 2

Mitt Romney bashes Trump's time in office in op-ed

To think I once supported this bastard. Even donated to his campaigns!
Romney described Trump during his campaign as "a phony, a fraud, a huckster". He also called Trump  "a con artist" whose demeanor is "recklessness in the extreme." So it would be fair to say according to Romney Trump's not fit to be president because he's no good right?

But good enough for Romney to kiss his ass begging to become SOS!

The question is if Trump's no good as Romney claims then what does this say about Romney's integrity?

This is the infamous photo in New York of Romney just before the ass kissing process. Truthfully, could never understand Trump even considering him for the SOS appointment unless it was to bury the hatchet. Guess we have all witnessed how that worked out. But as time moved on there seemed to be a little 'thaw' in their relationship and Trump even supported him for Senator in Utah. However, no sooner is Romney elected he digs up the hatchet going after Trump again.

So what is Romney's motivation? I think it's two-fold. One paving the way for another run. His third. Two I think it's animosity. He has anger issues. Mitt Romney is a professional politician. Donald J. Trump went from private citizen to POTUS (never holding any other political office) in one of the most unprecedented elections of all time! On the other hand, Romney couldn't beat the most worthless waste of skin ever to sit in the Oval Office... Barack Hussein Obama. Not once but twice!

It's no wonder he has anger issues. He choked just like Trump said he did.

Dan Bongino feels the same way.

Oh... now that I'm thinking about it. Do you think Romney a senator worth $250 million, the 'holier than thou' senator from Utah, will donate his salary to charity like Trump did?

Mitt Romney on President Donald Trump: He hasn't 'risen to the mantle of the office'

Mitt Romney claims victory in the Nov. 6, 2018, midterm elections. The former Republican presidential hopeful easily defeated his Democrat challenger in the race for U.S. Senate. Romney will replace longtime Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch.AP

Days away from joining the Senate’s Republican majority, Sen.-elect Mitt Romney broadly criticized President Donald Trump’s policies and character and argued that the president “has not risen to the mantle of the office.”

“With the nation so divided, resentful and angry, presidential leadership in qualities of character is indispensable,” the Utah Republican and 2012 presidential nominee wrote in a Washington Post op-ed posted online Tuesday night. “And it is in this province where the incumbent’s shortfall has been most glaring.”

Romney’s biting public assessment came as Trump and Senate Republicans faced a new governing dynamic. Republicans on Thursday will cede control of the House to Democrats, who were prepared to oppose Trump on a number of policies and promised a slew of investigations into his actions and those of his aides and campaign officials, particularly with regard to Russia’s election meddling.

Romney, a former Massachusetts governor, had criticized Trump before – notably, in a March 2016 speech he called Trump a “fraud” and opposed his bid for the GOP nomination – but later he made peace with the president-elect and even expressed interest in joining his administration.

Romney’s rebuke of Trump drew a cutting reply from Brad Parscale, Trump’s campaign manager. In a tweet Tuesday night, Parscale said Romney “lacked the ability to save this nation” and contended that Trump “has saved it.”

“Jealously is a drink best served warm and Romney just proved it,” Parscale wrote.

In the column, Romney offered approval of Trump’s corporate tax policies and efforts to cut regulations, appoint conservative judges and other “policies mainstream Republicans have promoted for years. But policies and appointments are only a part of a presidency.”

“To a great degree, a presidency shapes the public character of the nation,” Romney said. He later added: “With the nation so divided, resentful and angry, presidential leadership in qualities of character is indispensable. And it is in this province where the incumbent’s shortfall has been most glaring.”

While saying Trump’s early administration appointments had been encouraging, Romney added that “on balance, his conduct over the past two years, particularly his actions this month, is evidence that the president has not risen to the mantle of the office.”

In describing a “deep descent” by the Trump presidency in December, Romney cited the departures of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and White House chief of staff John Kelly and what he called the appointment of people of lesser experience, the abandonment of allies, and Trump’s “thoughtless claim that America has long been a ‘sucker’ in world affairs.”

Looking ahead, Romney wrote that he would act as he would with any president from either party in the White House, supporting policies he believes are in the best interest of the country and his state and opposing those that are not. And he said he didn’t intend to comment on every tweet or fault.

“But I will speak out against significant statements or actions that are divisive, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, dishonest or destructive to democratic institutions,” he said.

Romney will be sworn in as a senator on Thursday.

Police release photos of suspects who attacked 3 people at Chicago Red Line stop

As Gomer would say...

Police released surveillance photos of a group of suspects who attacked three people at a Near North Side Red Line stop on Saturday. | Chicago police

You're staring at the embryo of the canonization process. Which one is destined for sainthood? Take your pick. I put a red circle around mine. Let's call him JarTavious. A few months from now one of these God-fearing young men is going to wind up dead. A police officer or maybe a 'Bernie Goetz' will do them in. Al true to form will show up in Chicago to instigate the looting and destruction of property.

Then to stoke the flames a little more...

Evening News <-----> ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, CBS.

Most likely they'll use a photo along these lines. Of course, making reference to his lifelong dream of becoming a Biochemist.
Where's the halo?

Oh...and lets not forget the mother of Saint JarTavious.

Kanesha made this announcement before the Daily Caller released the 'talented'  JarTavious Green's criminal record (I gave him the last name too) which consists of 15 arrests over the last 20 months. When his criminal record became known for some inexplicable reason it never materialized on any of the above networks.

A Bureau of Justice Statistics study concluded blacks commit 51 percent of all homicides mostly against other blacks. Alarming when you consider blacks represent about 13% of the population.

So stay tuned for future reporting on The Life and Times of JarTavious Green (or whatever his name is). I don't know his true destiny but it damn sure won't be a Biochemist.

Chicago police released surveillance photos of a group of teenagers who attacked three people at the Chicago Red Line station on Saturday evening.

At 7:12 p.m., the group approached the victims on the station’s platform before surrounding and punching them, according to Chicago police.

The suspects are described as black males, thought to be between the ages of 15 and 19, standing between 5-foot-6 and 6-feet with medium builds and complexions, police said.

The unprovoked attacks targeted a 26-year-old man, a 28-year-old man, and a 29-year-old woman, according to police and the victims, who were all treated at the scene for bruising and lacerations. According to the 28-year-old, he later learned that he had suffered a broken eye socket when he received additional treatment at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago.

“Because they hit random people for no reason and I live very close to the station, I am worried to live here anymore,” he told the Sun-Times.

Police also received reports that a large group of teens had been kicked out of Water Tower Place and a nearby McDonald’s on Saturday night.

Downtown CTA stops had an increased police presence in the lead-up to the New Year’s Eve festivities, and officers were made “highly visible” at the Chicago station in the wake of the brazen attacks, police said.

Elizabeth Warren Moves Toward 2020 Bid With Launch Of Exploratory Committee

The progressive senator is taking the first step toward officially jumping into the presidential race. If elected president the Harvard Law School “minority” professor (based on her self-listing in a directory as a Native American in the 1990's) she'll be the second 'person of color' to ever hold the office and the first pureblood native American. Fortunately, Pocahontas took a DNA test proving she is somewhere between 1/64th to 1/1024th Indian. Talk about indisputable evidence! Truthfully, I believe her true lineage begins with an A and ends in holes.
