‘Blacktivist’ social media accounts linked to Russian efforts to sow divisions in U.S.

We all remember when Putin forced the Electoral College to vote for Trump right?

But now a story that is actually true. The American populace is so gullible/stupid they were duped by the Russians having some believe worthless thugs

like these two make it justified to disrespect our flag. And let's not forget the author of this article CNN and the rest of the MSM play a role in it too!

Tell me this wasn't a deliberate attempt to mislead.

Oh...and talk about "sow divisions in U.S." did you ever hear of BLM until Barry came around?

A Russian-linked Twitter account reportedly aimed at stoking racial tensions during the 2016 presidential campaign was handed over to Congress by the company this month, CNN reports.

The "Blacktivist" social media campaign frequently shared content on Facebook and Twitter aimed at creating racial outrage during last year's election.

The Facebook account is expected to be handed over to Congress in the comings days, according to CNN.

The campaign publicized various rallies, including a march in Baltimore commemorating the death of Freddie Gray, in order to increase turnout, the network reported.

The accounts also posted messages such as "black people should wake up as soon as possible" and "black families are divided and destroyed by mass incarceration and death of black men," according to CNN.

The campaign maintained a strong influence with its Facebook page likes outnumbering those of the official Black Lives Matter Facebook page, with 360,000 likes.

The report comes amid a slew of revelations about how Russian actors used social media to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Facebook revealed that roughly 470 Russian-linked accounts had purchased thousands of advertisements on the platform, some of which were aimed at stoking tension on social issues.

Twitter representatives on Thursday briefed staff from the House and Senate Intelligence committees on how Russian trolls and bots may have used the social media website to influence the 2016 election.
