Caravan of thousands of future illegals turned around after Trump's call for action

Mob rule which they picked up from the Democrats. What a coincidence... they should arrive just in time for the midterms.

If/when they get here... I could see it now.

BTW...CA wasted no time laying out the red carpet.

The caravan of thousands of Honduran migrants marching towards the US dramatically turned around as they reached the Mexican border in Guatemala on Friday morning, a day after hundreds of their comrades faced off with police.

The group say they will return to try to cross the heavily armed border and continue on their path to America in an hour, according to The Associated Press.

They were two blocks from the borderline in the Guatemalan town of Tecun Uman when they retreated. It is not an indicator that they have changed their plans, but demonstrates the obstacles the group is facing. On Thursday and Friday, the group clashed with police in the town and fought with them as a Mexican man who was supporting the march was arrested.

They are now making their way towards a bridge which traverses the Suchiate River. One migrant said: 'One way or another, we will pass.'

Hundreds of Mexican police officers and troops have stationed themselves along the other side of the tall fence which separates it from Guatemala. Guatemalan troops are also said to be putting up resistance.

Mexico has implemented what the ambassador to Guatemala calls a 'metered entry' system to try to control the vast numbers of people who are traveling there from other Central American countries.

Late on Thursday night, a small number of the Honduran group who broke off from the main crowd were able to successfully cross over into Mexico.

NBC reports that US officials are now tracking that small group as they make progress towards the US.

The migrants are fleeing Honduras where they say they have no prospects.

The developments on Friday came as Mike Pompeo prepared to fly to Mexico to discuss migration with the country's officials.
