Now only 39 per cent of black people now think OJ Simpson was innocent - compared to 69 per cent 20-years ago

39% is not a far cry from 50.

Guess they can't comprehend the slew of 911 calls, the bloody glove, the blood in his car, the blood spatter on his socks, and of course, he would never wear his words, "Those ugly ass shoes" referring to the Bruno Magli shoes... that was until this photo was discovered.

 39% of blacks are not stupid. It's just that they think with their skin instead of their brain.

----------------------------------------

Only 39 percent of black people now think O.J. Simpson was not guilty in 1995, compared to the 69 percent who thought so at the time.

The vast decrease in the African American community's belief in his innocence in the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman was found in a survey done for CBS News.

The news comes with the recent announcement that O.J. Simpson could be released on parole as soon as Monday in Las Vegas under a plan being finalized by Nevada officials.

Simpson's release is expected after nine years behind bars for his 2008 armed robbery and kidnapping convictions following a confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room.

The study also found that only 27 percent of people think he will regain celebrity status.

65 percent believe he will be mostly ignored.

The number of people overall who believe that he killed the two in 1994 has also increased, going from 67 percent to 71 percent.

It also found that both Black people believed the case was determined by race at a rate of 44 percent compared to 39 percent who believed by merit of the case.

This compares to 37 percent of whites who think the case was decided by race and 41 percent who believe by merit.

In terms of ages following the trial, the study found that two-thirds of adults 45 and older followed along.

Nine in 10 Americans under 30 and roughly 50 percent of 30 to 44-year-old folks did not follow along or were too young.

Before the verdict, most Americans believed the U.S. criminal justice system treated blacks fairly. About half of Black people felt that way.

Today, eight in 10 Black people and four in 10 whites believe that the system is biased against blacks.

Elementary school librarian REJECTS First Lady Melania Trump's donation of Dr. Seuss books because they are 'tired and cliche'

Well now. Wonder what she would have said had Michelle Obama sent the very same books? Let me guess.

~~~What a wonderful gesture by the First Lady. Cambridgeport Elementary School  salutes her for providing classic children's literature to our school for all to enjoy~~~
Thank You, Michelle Obama.
 Soeiro in 2015
School librarian Liz Phipps Soeiro (pictured) rejected books donated by First Lady Melania Trump on Thursday
A librarian at a Massachusetts elementary school has declined nearly a dozen books donated by Melania Trump, calling them 'tired' and 'cliche.'
The White House earlier this month announced that one school from each state would receive a shipment of Dr. Seuss books as part of National Read a Book Day.
Along with the donation came a letter from the First Lady, which emphasized to students that receiving 'an education is perhaps the most important and wondrous opportunity of your young lives'.
'Remember,' the letter says, 'the key to achieving your dreams begins with learning to read. Find what you enjoy, anything that interests you, and read about it.'
'Never stop learning and challenging yourself, and never give up on your dreams,' the letter concludes.
But Cambridgeport Elementary School librarian Liz Phipps Soeiro, whose school represents Massachusetts in the initiative, said on Thursday that her award-winning library wasn't in need of the literature.
The First Lady's gesture was part of White House initiative dubbed 'National Read a Book Day' (Pictured: May 25, 2017)
'My students have access to a school library with over nine thousand volumes and a librarian with a graduate degree in library science,' Phipps Soeiro wrote in an open letter on the Horn Book blog website.
'Multiple studies show that schools with professionally staffed libraries improve student performance,' she added.
Phipps Soeiro also criticized the First Lady's choice in books, which included 'The Cat in the Hat,' 'One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish,' 'The Foot Book,' 'Green Eggs and Ham' and 'Oh, the Places You'll Go!,' CBS Boston reported.
'You may not be aware of this, but Dr. Seuss is a bit of a cliché, a tired and worn ambassador for children's literature. As First Lady of the United States, you have an incredible platform with world-class resources at your fingertips,' she wrote.
The elementary school employee also took a jab at the Trump administration's education policy, specifically striking out against Betsy DaVos.
'Why not go out of your way to gift books to underfunded and underprivileged communities that continue to be marginalized and maligned by policies put in place by Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos?' she wrote.
Phipps Soeiro continues by claiming that 'cities like Philadelphia, Chicago, and Detroit are suffering through expansion privatization, and school "choice" with no interest in outcomes of children, their families, their teachers and their schools.'
She then asks: 'Are those kids any less deserving of books simply because of circumstances beyond their control?'
The White House later responded to Soeiro's remarks in a statement to NBC Boston.
'Mrs. Trump intends to use her platform as First Lady to help as many children as she can,' said Stephanie Grisham, the first lady's communications director.
'She has demonstrated this in both actions and words since her husband took office, and sending books to schools across the country is but one example.
'Turning the gesture of sending young school children books into something divisive is unfortunate, but the First Lady remains committed to her efforts on behalf of children everywhere.'
The school district later said that Phipps Soeiro 'was not authorized to accept or reject donated books on behalf of the school or school district,' adding that her opinions do not reflect that of the school system.
'We have counseled the employee on all relevant policies, including the policy against public resources being used for political purposes,' the district wrote in a statement.
‘Blacktivist’ social media accounts linked to Russian efforts to sow divisions in U.S.
We all remember when Putin forced the Electoral College to vote for Trump right?
But now a story that is actually true. The American populace is so gullible/stupid they were duped by the Russians having some believe worthless thugs
like these two make it justified to disrespect our flag. And let's not forget the author of this article CNN and the rest of the MSM play a role in it too!
Tell me this wasn't a deliberate attempt to mislead.
Oh...and talk about "sow divisions in U.S." did you ever hear of BLM until Barry came around?
A Russian-linked Twitter account reportedly aimed at stoking racial tensions during the 2016 presidential campaign was handed over to Congress by the company this month, CNN reports.
The "Blacktivist" social media campaign frequently shared content on Facebook and Twitter aimed at creating racial outrage during last year's election.
The Facebook account is expected to be handed over to Congress in the comings days, according to CNN.
The campaign publicized various rallies, including a march in Baltimore commemorating the death of Freddie Gray, in order to increase turnout, the network reported.
The accounts also posted messages such as "black people should wake up as soon as possible" and "black families are divided and destroyed by mass incarceration and death of black men," according to CNN.
The campaign maintained a strong influence with its Facebook page likes outnumbering those of the official Black Lives Matter Facebook page, with 360,000 likes.
The report comes amid a slew of revelations about how Russian actors used social media to influence the 2016 presidential election.
Facebook revealed that roughly 470 Russian-linked accounts had purchased thousands of advertisements on the platform, some of which were aimed at stoking tension on social issues.
Twitter representatives on Thursday briefed staff from the House and Senate Intelligence committees on how Russian trolls and bots may have used the social media website to influence the 2016 election.
Ready for this?
In an attempt to con (what they must believe are stupid fans) the Green Bay Packers announced they want the fans to lock arms in solidarity with them!
That would be like me locking arms with Rachel Maddow and Rosie O'Donnell at the next Antifa incursion.
On a tip from Ed Kilbane
Perhaps you should read this. It's very enlightening. Especially for dumbasses like Kaepernick.
The National Anthem Protests -- Do Facts Matter?
Where was the angry left when Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg called the national anthem protests "dumb and disrespectful"?
Let's focus on the "dumb" part.
NFL player Colin Kaepernick, who started the protests, did so over the supposed widespread instances of police brutality against blacks. Kaepernick said, "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. ... There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder." According to the Centers for Disease Control, since 1968 police killings of blacks have declined nearly 75 percent. According to The Washington Post, almost 500 whites were killed by cops in 2015, an average of more than one a day. Two hundred fifty-nine blacks were killed by the police. Most suspects killed by police had a weapon.
Now for some perspective.
Do you know anyone who has been struck by lightning? Neither do most people. Yet each year an average of about 300 Americans are killed or injured by lightning. That's approximately 40 more than the number of blacks killed by the police in 2015. Is there an "epidemic" of Americans being struck and injured by lightning? We don't know the number of black men injured by lightning every year, but let's assume the number is 7 percent of the total people struck by lightning, mirroring the percentage of the black male population in America. That brings the average number of black men injured by lightning to about 21.
Out of the 965 people killed by the police in 2015 (as of Dec. 24), the Post reported (on Dec. 26) that "less than 4 percent" involved an unarmed black man and a white cop, the fact pattern most commonly referred to by anti-police activists like Black Lives Matter. Last year, The Washington Post put the number of unarmed black men killed by the police at 17, less than the number of blacks likely struck by lightning. Twenty-two unarmed whites were killed by the police. Any death that results from police misconduct is one death too many, but the point is that police killing of a suspect is rare, no matter the race of the suspect or the cop. And a police shooting of an unarmed black male is still more rare.
But blacks are routinely and disproportionately being stopped, pulled over and/or arrested due to police misconduct, right?
No, not according to numerous studies, many by the government. Take traffic stops. In 2013, the National Institute of Justice, the research and evaluation agency of the Department of Justice, published a study of whether the police, as a result of racial bias, stop blacks more than other drivers. The conclusion? Any racial disparity in traffic stops is due to "differences in offending" in addition to "differences in exposure to the police" and "differences in driving patterns."
According to Philippe Lemoine, writing in National Review, a white person is, on average, more likely to have interactions with the police in any year than a black person, 20.7 percent vs. 17.5 percent. It is true that a black person is more likely to have multiple contacts with the police. But according to the data, multiple contacts with the police are rare, as well. Lemoine writes that 1.2 percent of white men have more than three contacts with the police in a year versus 1.5 percent of black men.
But what about the experience of a black person with the police versus that of a white person? The DOJ's Bureau of Justice Statistics regularly studies this, too. Every year, the BJS surveys a representative sample of 70,000 people. Among the questions, the survey asks whether respondents had contact with the police in the last 12 months. If the answer is "yes," the survey asks a number of follow-up questions, including about use of force.
Let's concentrate on cases involving use of force.
Lemoine writes: "Only 0.6 percent of black men experience physical force by the police in any given year, while approximately 0.2 percent of white men do. ... Moreover, keep in mind that these tallies of police violence include violence that is legally justified." And keep in mind the much higher levels of crime by mostly black males. It is estimated that half of all homicides are committed by, and mostly against, black males.
In 1995, the federal government looked at 42,500 defendants in the nation's 75 largest counties. A government statistician, Patrick A. Langan, found "no evidence that, in the places where blacks in the United States have most of their contacts with the justice system, that system treats them more harshly than whites." So much for the so-called "institutional racism" in the criminal justice system.
Recently, in Illinois, in a kids' 8-and-under football league, the entire team, which appeared to be all black, including the coach, took a knee during the national anthem. Asked why, one third-grade player parroted Kaepernick, saying, according to the coach, "Because black people are getting killed, and nobody's going to jail."
Facts don't matter. The coach, presented with a teachable moment, fumbled it away.
A chip off the old block
It’s Official: ‘The View’ Adds Meghan McCain as 'Conservative' Co-Host
Meghan McCain has officially signed onto “The View” as a regular co-host, Variety has learned exclusively.
McCain’s hire comes just days after she left Fox News, and shortly after the ABC daytime show parted ways with Jedidiah Bila.
McCain is expected to start in early October, joining the panel of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Paula Faris, and Sunny Hostin.
ABC declined to comment on McCain.
Insiders say “The View” nabbed McCain because the show needs a stronger conservative voice, which it has been lacking since Elisabeth Hasselbeck left in 2013 when the series was buzzier, frequently making headlines for in-show sparring between the co-hosts with different political views.
McCain — the daughter of U.S. Senator and 2008 presidential nominee John McCain — has described herself as a Republican with liberal views on several social issues.
Since creator Barbara Walters retired in May 2014, “The View” has been playing a game of musical chairs, enduring numerous talent changes. Sherri Shepherd departed a few months later and then Rosie O’Donnell returned for one season, which was followed by a slew of brief stints by Nicolle Wallace, Rosie Perez, Raven Symone, Michelle Collins, Candace Cameron Bure, and most recently, Bila.
In recent months, ratings for the “The View” have started to climb with the Trump presidency, which has fueled the show’s Hot Topics debates. The show is seeing its best numbers in three years, averaging 2.8 million viewers a day under the watch of senior executive producer Hilary Estey McLoughlin and executive producers Candi Carter and Brian Teta.
At Fox News, McCain was a contributor and served as one of the co-hosts on the afternoon program “Outnumbered.” Prior, she hosted a series, “TakePart Live,” on the now-defunct Pivot network, and she was also a contributor to MSNBC and The Daily Beast. She first garnered media attention in 2007 for blogging about her experiences on the campaign trail when her father was running for president.
