Former Rep. 'Carlos Danger' says 'its good to be out' after prison stint for lewd text messages

Disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner left a halfway house in the Bronx this morning, bringing his sentence for exchanging lewd text messages with an underage girl to a conclusion.

"It’s good to be out," Weiner told reporters as he left. "I hope to get back to my family and make up for some lost time. I hope to be able to live a life of integrity and service and I'm glad this chapter of my life is behind me."

'Carlos' fresh out of jail, thumbs shaking from inactivity, wasted no time finding the nearest Apple store.

He purchased the iPhone XS Max.

Caitlyn Jenner To Pose Nude For ‘Sports Illustrated’ Wearing Only ‘An American Flag And Her Olympic Medal’

Heretofore... the image of Ruth Bader Ginsburg nude is one of the worse visions I could ever imagine.

Now I'm not so sure.

The gold medal is going to be hanging from where?

Bet Sports Illustrated could get a great shot of her water skiing... without the skis.

They should reshoot this with Caitlyn Jenner, RuPaul, and Chelsea Manning.

I'll be looking for it at the check out counter next to Barack and his charming wife idolized on all the magazine covers. The 4th greatest president I think he said.

Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly getting ready to bare all.

The Olympic champion-turned-reality star is set to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine wearing only “an American flag and her Olympic medal,” Us Weekly reported on Friday. The appearance will celebrate the anniversary of her world record mark in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. Jenner, who at the time was known as Bruce, became an American sports icon and was splashed across media, even earning a spot on the front of the Wheaties box.

The magazine cited an unnamed source who said that Jenner was looking forward to posing with her medal for the first time since her transition to live as a woman.

“She’s excited about that.,” the source said.

Jenner had previously said that the medal had been tucked away in a drawer, as it was the source of some very conflicted emotions. As Sports Illustrated reported, Jenner put away the medal because it was too sharp a reminder of the conflicted feelings she felt while living as a man, even though the accomplishment itself was a source of great pride.

The Us Weekly report added that Jenner has been open about what it was like raising children in the shadow of her fame and accomplishments. In a 2015 blog post, Caitlyn Jenner said that she “never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success.”

It was not clear what slant the photo shoot or potential interview might take, but it could touch on Jenner’s new place as one of the highest-profile advocates for trans rights. Jenner went through her transition in relative seclusion, remaining away from media amid growing rumors that she was transitioning to a woman. In an interview with Variety, Jenner said after the transition she chose to push for trans rights from behind the scenes rather than upfront.

“I don’t do a lot of media. I don’t want to be seen everywhere,” Jenner said. “Today, I’m very politically involved. Nobody really knows it. I do it very quietly because I have been so criticized by the liberal side of the media. I can get more things done if I don’t stick my nose into everything publicly.”

Caitlyn Jenner had taken some heat for her political stances in the past, including her support for Donald Trump, despite warnings from other LGBTQ advocates that he would be detrimental to the movement.

Trump's new nickname for Pete Buttigieg? 'Alfred E. Neuman'

President Trump mocked Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg on Friday afternoon, comparing the 37-year-old mayor of South Bend, Ind., to the longtime mascot for Mad magazine.

“Alfred E. Neuman cannot become president of the United States,” the president said, referring to the decades-old Mad character in an interview with Politico.

Think I would have more confidence in Alfred.

"We have a young man, Buttigieg. Boot-edge-edge,” Trump told Politico sarcastically. “He’ll be great representing us against President Xi of China. That’ll be great. I want to be in that room, I wanna watch that one."

Buttigieg, a relative political newcomer, has surprised many political observers by consistently polling ahead of higher-profile Democrats such as Elizabeth Warren, Beto O'Rourke and Kamala Harris.

Seriously, could you see Buttigieg dealing with the likes of Putin, Kim Jong-un, ISIS...

Buttigieg, who has been mayor of South Bend since 2012, is a former Navy Reserve intelligence officer who served in Afghanistan. He's also a Rhodes scholar and the first openly gay major-party presidential candidate.

Although he has been criticized for his lack of executive experience in running for president, Buttigieg still has more experience than Trump had when he won. The mayor has also been criticized for his youthfulness, which may have been part of the president’s dig in reference to the adolescent-looking Neuman. Buttigieg is just two years older than the 35-year-old age requirement to run for president.

When asked about Trump's insult, Buttigieg claimed he'd never heard of the Neuman character.

"I’ll be honest. I had to Google that," Buttigieg said. "I guess it’s just a generational thing. I didn’t get the reference. It's kind of funny, I guess.

"But he’s also the president of the United States and I’m surprised he’s not spending more time trying to salvage this China deal,” Buttigieg said in reference to Friday’s trade talks with China.
