This is how it works...

Talks about dressing up in blackface for Halloween and is fired.

Loses her Food Network show and endorsement contracts with Smithfield Foods, Walmart, Target, QVC, Caesars Entertainment, Novo Nordisk, J.C. Penney, Sears, Kmart, and her then-publisher Ballantine Books because she used the word 'nigger' in the 1960's.

No that's not a Muslim. It's a statue of Kate 'God Bless America' Smith. What was her crime you say? In 1931 she sang a song that contained the lyrics, “Someone had to pick the cotton, Someone had to pick the corn, Someone had to slave and be able to sing, That’s why darkies were born.” The song, which has been called a satirical take on racism, was a big hit for Smith, and also was recorded by Paul Robeson.

No that's not blackface.

Unlike Megyn Kelly who talked about blackface, Va. Gov. Ralph Northam dressed up in blackface in his 1984 yearbook. Two months after the initial hoopla nearly ended his tenure as governor his life is mostly back to normal.

State lawmakers who called on him to resign are now all smiles, standing beside him at news conferences. The Twitter mob has moved on to other things.

After Kavanaugh was crucified for alleged sexual misconduct by two women Northam's Lieutenant Governor was similarly charged by two women (both Democrats) who said Fairfax forced them to perform oral sex on him. Again after the initial hoopla, the story has all but disappeared.

It's a trifecta!

The AG of VA.
Ditto what Northam did.

The headline at the time:

What next?
Nothing... all 3 still have their job.
Couldn't be because they're Democrats, could it?

PS:

Now imagine Jussie Smollett was a white guy who grew hungry for a Subway sandwich at 2:30 in the morning in -13 degree weather. On his way to settle his hunger, he claims he's accosted by two black panthers shouting "Black lives matter, honkey." Smollett said they worked him over pretty good. Later after the cops find a video of Daronté and Ja Taveon at ACE hardware buying rope and bleach and after further questioning, the culprits admit they received a check of $3,500 from Smollett. The cops determined the whole story was a lie. But not to worry white boy. Once recused Kimberly Foxx concluded you were being overcharged the case was dropped.

Thank God for fairness!

BTW...when did Jesse Jackson start working at the Chicago District Attorney office?
