Another Reason For Revolution

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
Thomas Jefferson

Why in the f--- are we doing this? Israel is our ally and only friend in the region. This is a slap in the face to the Israeli people especially Benjamin Netanyahu. Israel suffered an unprovoked attack, and retaliated in a manner that any other country would. We are sending money to Israel's enemy so they can rebuild the Gaza Strip!!! You got to be shittin me!

Hamas (right arm of Iran) caused the problem as they always do. Iran is drowning in oil. Let those dirty bastards pay for it!

Bottom line. This is morally and ethically wrong. Not to mention monetarily. Israel is attacked by Hamas, they retaliate (rightfully so), and the US taxpayer picks up the tab???

By the way, shouldn't we be cutting foreign aid altogether? Who's got the balls to put a plug in this ever flowing money stream? No one in our government! This is total bullshit!

US to give $900m in Gaza aid
Hillary Clinton is to formally announce the aid package
next week, reports say [EPA]

The US is set to offer more than $900m to help rebuild Gaza following Israel's military assault on the Palestinian territory, officials say.

Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, is to formally announce the funding at a donor conference in Egypt next week, one US official told the Reuters news agency on Monday.

The money, which would need to be approved by the US congress, is to be distributed through the UN and other bodies and not via Hamas, the Palestinian group which governs Gaza, said one of the officials, who asked to remain anonymous.

The same official said the pledge was a mix of money already earmarked for the Palestinians and some new funding.

Rob Reynolds, Al Jazeera's senior Washington correspondent, said the administration of Barack Obama, the US president, had not moved towards engaging directly with Hamas but had modified some of its language towards dealing with Palestinians in Gaza.

It was prepared to mention Palestinian suffering without directly linking it to the actions of Hamas, our correspondent said.

The US has repeatedly said it will not hold talks with Hamas unless it recognizes Israel, renounces violence and recognizes previous Palestinian peace agreements.

In December, the administration of George Bush, Obama's predecessor, said it would give $85m to the UN agency that provides aid to Palestinian refugees in the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.

Surprise..Surprise

What this bitch needs is a freaking bailout!

You are unmarried Nadya Suleman sitting at home watching The View with 6 kids, perhaps wondering during the commercials, who the father is. I don't how, but maybe, she became a little bored. What to do? Of course, call a doctor and ask for vitro fertilization so you can have 8 more kids!

How can we reward her for her stupidity. Lets see.... For starters how about a welfare check for spreading her legs for the first 6? Certainly an increase is in order for the additional 8!

What about the medical bills? Forgetaboutit!

What's that you say? Your home is in foreclosure!

No worries. BHO (aka Abomination) will take care of you with his stimulus plan. (Although..... it seems... you have been stimulated enough already.)

Since the "compassionate" doctor gave you vitro , (not the taxpayer) and probably makes in excess of $300,000 a year, I'm sure he or she will be happy to pay to raise the children and keep your house payment up to date.

Obama...I'm starting to wonder

http://outfoxingkarlrove.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/daschle-obama.jpg

I have never liked Obama. I could never like a liberal. Its not the man, its the liberal thought process that boggles the mind. One thing about Obama. He's not stupid....until now!

Wouldn't you have thought after the first screw up he would have investigated these people more thoroughly before announcing any more embarrassing appointments? If this were a Republican administration the media would have a field day!

There certainly are two sets of rules in the IRS. One for them.... One for us.

Leno said. "They think IRS satnds for I'm Really Sorry!"

1. New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, had to withdraw weeks earlier because of an investigation into alleged ''pay-to-play'' politics at home.

2. Timothy Geithner belatedly paid $34,000 in back income taxes, and $8,000 in interest. He was eventually confirmed as treasury secretary. No Fine.

3. Nancy Killefer, who was nominated to a top budget post but had failed to pay unemployment compensation taxes for domestic help and had a lien placed on her home as a result. She asked Obama to withdraw her nomination. No Fine.

4. Tom Daschle withdrew his nomination to be secretary of health and human services. Daschle, a former senator, last month paid more than $140,000 in back taxes and interest, most of it owed for his chauffeured luxury car, which he enjoyed as a loan from a private-equity firm he advised. He also reported that he had earned $5 million in two years, largely from industry groups. No Fine.

5. A Senate committee abruptly canceled a session to consider President Obama's nomination of Rep. Hilda Solis to be labor secretary in the wake of a report saying that her husband yesterday paid about $6,400 to settle tax liens against his business -- including liens that had been outstanding for as long as 16 years. No Fine.

Rangle's not directly invovled in this but he forgot to pay his taxes also.

"President Obama has asked the Senate to cut $50 billion from the economic stimulus plan. Yeah, Obama says the government will no longer need the $50 billion once everyone in his Cabinet pays their back taxes." --Conan O'Brien

Changing Of The Guard

http://images.watoday.com.au/2008/11/11/262056/article-bush-and-obama-420x0.jpg

From an email that was sent to me.

On the changing of the guard in Washington.......

Outgoing President George W. Bush quietly boards his helicopter and leaves for Texas, commenting only: "Today is not about me. Today is a historical day for our nation and people."

Eight years ago yesterday:

Outgoing President Bill Clinton schedules two separate radio addresses to the nation, and organizes a public farewell speech/rally in downtown Washington D.C. scheduled to directly conflict with incoming President Bush's inauguration ceremony.

Yesterday:

President Bush leaves office without issuing a single Presidential pardon, only granting a commutation of sentence to two former border patrol agents convicted of shooting a convicted drug smuggler. He does not grant any type of clemency to Scooter Libby or any other former political aide, ally, or business partner.

Eight years ago yesterday:

President Clinton issues 140 pardons and several commutations of sentence on his final day in office. Included in these are: billionaire financier, convicted tax evader, and leading Democratic campaign contributor Marc Rich; Whitewater scandal figure Susan McDougal; Congressional Post Office Scandal figure and former Democratic Congressman Dan Rostenkowski; convicted bank fraud, sexual assault and child porn perpetrator and former Democratic Congressman Melvin Reynolds; and convicted drug felon Roger Clinton, the President's half-brother.

Yesterday:

The Bush daughters leave gift baskets in the White House bedrooms for the Obama daughters, containing flowers, candy, stuffed animals, DVD's and CD's, and heartfelt notes of encouragement and advice for the young girls on how to prepare for their new lives in the White House.

Eight years ago Yesterday:

Clinton and Gore staffers rip computer wires and electrical outlets from the White House walls, stuff piles of notebook papers into the White House toilets, systematically remove the letter "W" from every computer key-pad in the entire White House, and damage several thousand dollars worth of furniture in the White House master bedroom.

Headlines On This Date 4 Years Ago:

"Republicans spending $42 million on inauguration while troops Die in unarmored Humvees"

"Bush extravagance exceeds any reason during tough economic times"

"Fat cats get their $42 million inauguration party, Ordinary Americans get the shaft"

Headlines Today:

"Historic Obama Inauguration will cost only $170 million"

"Obama Spends $170 million on inauguration; America Needs A Big Party"

"Everyman Obama shows America how to celebrate"

"Citibank executives contribute $8 million to Obama Inauguration"

The Perfect Storm

See if you can put the pieces of this puzzle together. There are only four parts.

1. Leon Panetta appointed head of the CIA. No law enforcement or Homeland Security experience.

2. BHO signs an executive order on 1-22-09 ordering Gitmo to be closed down within a year. (The liberal preoccupation with this fascinates me!) These bastards can no more be rehabilitated then you can teach a rattlesnake to say the rosary.

3. There are approximately 250 detainees at Gitmo right now. Some of whom have been previously released went on to kill again. Kill Americans I might add! Their own country of origin does not want them back! I guess that should tell us something. Department of Defense spokesman J.D. Gordon said this: "There is an inherent risk in detainee transfers and releases, as over 60 ex-Gitmo detainees have reportedly returned to terrorism".

America must now endure the financial strain of bringing them here and providing legal council which is going to cost the American taxpayer untold millions. Are we not in a financial melt down already? Is this the next Democratic stimulus freak show? Out of 250 detainees you just know some bleeding-heart liberal judge is going to set some of them free. Free to go where? To meld into our American society?

4. Just to add frosting on the cake BHO signs still another executive order to prohibit the use of waterboarding and harsh interrogation techniques by ordering the CIA to follow military rules for questioning prisoners. This executive order is issued even though terrorist's break every rule of the Geneva Convention. Their rule goes something like this, We're cutting off your head. Do want us to start at the throat or the back of your neck? The liberal pollyanna consensus is...if we're nice to them...they'll be nice to us. The truth of the matter is terrorists view this as a sign of weakness. All this does is embolden them.

By the way I wonder how the families who lost love one's on 911 feel about this? Now put the four pieces of this puzzle together and what do you see?

I see the horizon and hear the unmistakable low rumblings of thunder. In the distance lightning flashes white neon branches in a black sky. The coming together of the perfect storm.

Hope And Change Defined

The manifestation of hope and change is upon us. America asked for it and the media was only to eager to oblige.

Eggs laid during the campaign have incubated and broke through their shell to rear their ugly heads. This is one of them.

Under the watch of President George W. Bush, no American taxpayer funds were permitted to be used to fund foreign family planning groups that either informed, provided referrals or counseling about abortions to individuals. Federal funds were also banned from going to such groups that even talked about abortion in the case of an unplanned pregnancy.

BHO has signed an executive order authorizing the use of federal funds for international groups that perform abortions or provide information on the procedure outside of the U.S.

"President Obama not long ago told the American people that he would support policies to reduce abortions, but today he is effectively guaranteeing more abortions by funding groups that promote abortion as a method of population control," Douglas Johnson, legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee, told The Associated Press.

BHO signed the order one day after the landmark anniversary of Roe v. Wade decision which legalized abortion in America without coverage by the media late Friday afternoon. He signed it late Friday so it would be buried by the media Saturday. As usual the media is there to protect the Messiah! Give him coverage when he needs it. Bury it when he doesn't.

Not only is this morally wrong but in case you haven't heard America is in financial chaos. So we are going to spend federal funds overseas to promote more abortions. This will cost the American taxpayers 460 million dollars! Liberals in their twisted ideology will try to convince you this helps the economy. Killing more babies. Is this the new stimulus plan?

Dead On

(Because its a Democratic brain you'll have to click on it to make it larger)

(This is a response to the previous post.)
Uncle Sucker's America

By Edward Kilbane

Kind of makes me feel real good. We liberals truly are compassionate, loving and sharing people.

Oh by the way, can you empty out your savings account and send it to Washington so we can continue to do good deeds like this? I can't afford to pay anything myself because I just bought a new Prius hybrid and I need it to protect the environment from people like you. It cost $10,000 more than a Chevy Malibu but I'll make it up in gas savings if I drive it for 750,000 miles. OK, I'll be honest, I didn't actually pay for it myself, I got a liars loan to buy it. I don't pay taxes but I'm getting a tax rebate check. This is wonderful. Unfortunately, I have to use it to rent a Washington condo to attend the innaguration next week and then march with Michael Moore and Rosie in some anti-war and pro-choice demonstrations. I spend a lot of my time and energy working on ways to protect my rights to your money instead of doing something really productive like supporting myself through my own efforts. I spent almost all my time leading up to the election registering illegal aliens to vote for Obama. Had to give them most of my pot. If you would just give me all your money now and stop resisting, I wouldn't have to go to all these marches and I could better spend my time watching The View and Oprah on one of my two flat screen TVs. I also need a government grant to go back to college and get an advanced degree in social studies. I hear these degrees are real easy to get if you suck up to all the liberal, socialist "professors". The welfare department needs to hire a lot of people to pass out your money and I want to be a part of it - both giving and receiving! My future looks so bright!

By the way, don't think about becoming a liberal like me. We already have too many liberals that can be supported by hard-working, conservative suckers like you. We can't afford to tip the delicate balance. As long as we have 51% we can continue to vote ourselves your money without killing the goose that lays the welfare eggs. We need you suckers to pay for our rights. I read somewhere that the parasite doesn't kill its host because that would be suicide for him. They just suck enough blood to make their hosts real sick but not kill them. You are a wonderful host and I hope you don't mind being stuck in the minority of conservative, self- supporting, productive citizens who slave away to pay taxes so I can continue to get my free benefits. Oops, shouldn't have used that word "slave". No reparations for you sucker!

Uncle Sucker's America

From Brenda Walker’s Blog:

"Happiness Times Five"–Sudanese Woman Visitor Has QUINTUPLETS In Maryland Hospital–At Your Expense

What is the news slant when a foreign national appears and prevails on an American hospital to help when she proceeds to plop out five little anchor babies? The MSM cheers, of course, as illustrated in the headline from the Washington Post (Below).

The woman called the hospital and said she had traveled from her home in war-torn Sudan to the United States. She was seeking her mother-in-law's blessing of her pregnancy, but now that she was here, she feared there was something wrong — and any trouble would be multiplied by five.

So the staff at Anne Arundel Medical Center told her to come in right away. When physician William Sweeney gave her an ultrasound, it showed all he needed to know: quintuplets at 19 weeks of development.

If mother and children were to survive, the doctor concluded, they would need all the help they could get. That began 11 weeks of intensive treatment involving more than 30 physicians, nurses and other specialists at the hospital in Annapolis.

Yesterday, doctors and the woman's family announced the good news. Mother and the five babies, born Dec. 2, were just fine. They were the first quintuplets in the hospital's 106-year history, the first in Maryland in more than three years. And although they will spend the next three weeks in the medical center's neonatal unit, the prognosis is good. [Happiness Times Five, By William Wan, December 17, 2008]

She travelled all the way from Africa to get a blessing? Right, I believe that. She didn't come to Uncle Sucker's America to avail herself of all the free medical goodies she could grab.

The Post can't get any stupider or more credulous, as it accepts her BS explanation in its effort to create a feel-good diversity story. The paper drops hints about the cost ($1,150 a day for a baby in the intensive care unit) but doesn't remind you to multiply that by FIVE, plus the Post is vague about how much time she spent in the hospital prior to births.

The morning of Dec. 2, doctors went to Malual's room with a wheelchair. But she said no.

"I will not be wheeled to my babies' birth. I will walk," Malual told them. "I am from Sudan, and we walk in Sudan."

How noble of her. However she is quite willing to have the taxpayer's money wheeled in her direction.

The Vibrator

This is a first. I never pass along a joke on my blog, but this one I couldn't resist.

As a woman passed her daughter's closed bedroom
door, she heard a strange buzzing noise coming from
within. Opening the door, she observed her daughter
with a vibrator.

Shocked, she asked: 'what in the world are you
doing?'

The daughter replied: 'mom, I'm thirty-five years
old, unmarried, and this thing is about as close as
I'll ever get to a husband. Please, go away and
leave me alone.'

The next day, the girl's father heard the same buzz
coming from the other side of the closed bedroom
door. Upon entering the room, he observed his
daughter making passionate love to her vibrator.

To his query as to what she was doing, the daughter
said: 'dad I'm thirty-five, unmarried, and this
thing is about as close as I'll ever get to a
husband. Please, go away and leave me alone.'

A couple days later, the wife came home from a
shopping trip,
placed the groceries on the kitchen
counter, and heard that buzzing noise coming from,
of all places, the living room. She entered that
area and observed her husband sitting on the couch,
downing a cold beer, and staring at the TV.

The vibrator was next to him on the couch, buzzing
like crazy.

The wife asked: 'What the
f**k are you doing?'

The husband replied: 'I'm watching football with my
son-in-law.'

Blago...not so dumb?

http://blogs.chicagotribune.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/07/17/cstblago.jpg

Gov Blagojevich knows his phones are tapped yet he continues to make incriminating remarks. On heading the Health and Human Services Department or a top-dollar job running a nonprofit organization he said this: "I've got this thing and it's f-----g golden, and, uh, uh, I'm just not giving it up for f-----g nothing ... I can parachute me there."

On Nov. 10, Blagojevich griped the President-elect - "this motherf----r" - wasn't giving him a cabinet post, yet still expected the governor to appoint Obama's choice for senator. "F--k him. For nothing? F--k him." Obama's advisers were "not willing to give me anything except appreciation," Blagojevich complained the next day to an aide. "F--k them."

This is reminiscent of the Nixon years. You know you're being recorded but you say it anyway.

Senate Democratic Leadership announced they would not seat anyone Blago appointed due to the cloud of suspicion hanging over his head. (I guess, what they really meant was, no white guy was going to be appointed.)

So Blago is just sitting around waiting to be impeached. So what to do?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/01214/Roland-Burris_1214005f.jpg

Why of course! Appoint Roland Burris and wait for someone to play the race card.

Enter....Al (The race card..What's in your wallet?) Sharpton... and the rest of his crew. They jumped on it quicker then a car company looking for a bailout!

I like this shot. Roland Burris struggles through the crowd like a Black student trying to get into the University of Alabama in 1963. Only to be stopped at the door.

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/227/507815225_9899808169.jpg

Wait... is that George Wallace?

http://nicedeb.files.wordpress.com/2007/07/happy_harry_reid.jpg

No... its Harry Reid blocking him from being seated. Did I say seated? In all the theatrics you can almost hear the heroic Rosa Parks shouting from the back of the bus. "I'm not giving up my seat."

Blago's probably in the Governor's mansion right now. I can see him laid back in his chair, feet crossed on the top of his desk, drinking a beer, and laughing his ass off.....

By the time they get around to impeach me my term in office will be over with. Come to think of it... so what if they impeach me. Clinton came out of it no worse for wear.

As it looks right now, he might be right!

Truer words have not been spoken

To All My Valued Employees,

There have been some rumblings around the office about the future of this company, and more specifically, your job. As you know, the economy has changed for the worse and presents many challenges. However, the good news is this: The economy doesn't pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is the changing political landscape in this country.

However, let me tell you some little tidbits of fact which might help you decide what is in your best interests.

First, while it is easy to spew rhetoric that casts employers against employees, you have to understand that for every business owner there is a back story. This back story is often neglected and overshadowed by what you see and hear. Sure, you see me park my Mercedes outside. You've seen my big home at last years Christmas party. I'm sure; all these flashy icons of luxury conjure up some idealized thoughts about my life.

However, what you don't see is the back story.

I started this company 28 years ago. At that time, I lived in a 300 square foot studio apartment for 3 years. My entire living apartment was converted into an office so I could put forth 100% effort into building a company, which by the way, would eventually employ you.

My diet consisted of Ramen Pride noodles because every dollar I spent went back into this company. I drove a rusty ToyotaCorolla with a defective transmission. I didn't have time to date. Often times, I stayed home on weekends, while my friends went out drinking and partying. In fact, I was married to my business -- hard work, discipline, and sacrifice.

Meanwhile, my friends got jobs. They worked 40 hours a week and made a modest $50K a year and spent every dime they earned. They drove flashy cars and lived in expensive homes and wore fancy designer clothes. Instead of hitting the Nordstrom's for the latest hot fashion item, I was trolling through the discount store extracting any clothing item that didn't look like it was birthed in the 70's. My friends refinanced their mortgages and lived a life of luxury. I, however, did not. I put my time, my money, and my life into a business with a vision that eventually, some day, I too, will be able to afford these luxuries my friends supposedly had.

So, while you physically arrive at the office at 9am, mentally check in at about noon, and then leave at 5pm, I don't. There is no "off" button for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend all to yourself. I unfortunately do not have the freedom. I eat, and breathe this company every minute of the day. There is no rest. There is no weekend. There is no happy hour. Every day this business is attached to my hip like a 1 year old special-needs child. You, of course, only see the fruits of that garden -- the nice house, the Mercedes, the vacations... you never realize the back story and the sacrifices I've made.

Now, the economy is falling apart and I, the guy that made all the right decisions and saved his money, have to bail-out all the people who didn't. The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed a decade of my life for.

Yes, business ownership has is benefits but the price I've paid is steep and not without wounds.

Unfortunately, the cost of running this business, and employing you, is starting to eclipse the threshold of marginal benefit and let me tell you why:

I am being taxed to death and the government thinks I don't pay enough. I have state taxes. Federal taxes. Property taxes. Sales and use taxes. Payroll taxes. Workers compensation taxes. Unemployment taxes. Taxes on taxes. I have to hire a tax man to manage all these taxes and then guess what? I have to pay taxes for employing him. Government mandates and regulations and all the accounting that goes with it, now occupy most of my time. On Oct 15th, I wrote a check to the USTreasury for $288,000 for quarterly taxes. You know what my "stimulus" check was? Zero. Nada. Zilch.

The question I have is this: Who is stimulating the economy? Me, the guy who has provided 14 people good paying jobs and serves over 2,200,000 people per year with a flourishing business? Or, the single mother sitting at home pregnant with her fourth child waiting for her next welfare check? Obviously, government feels the latter is the economic stimulus of this country.

The fact is, if I deducted (Read: Stole) 50% of your paycheck you'd quit and you wouldn't work here. I mean, why should you? That's nuts. Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, I agree which is why your job is in jeopardy.

Here is what many of you don't understand ... to stimulate the economy you need to stimulate what runs the economy. Had suddenly government mandated to me that I didn't need to pay taxes, guess what? Instead of depositing that $288,000 into the Washington black-hole, I would have spent it, hired more employees, and generated substantial economic growth. My employees would have enjoyed the wealth of that tax cut in the form of promotions and better salaries. But you can forget it now.

When you have a comatose man on the verge of death, you don't defibrillate and shock his thumb thinking that will bring him back to life, do you? Or, do you defibrillate his heart? Business is at the heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate it, not kill it. Suddenly, the power brokers in Washington believe the poor of America are the essential drivers of the American economic engine. Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change you can keep.

So where am I going with all this?

It's quite simple.

If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, my reaction will be swift and simple. I fire you. I fire your co-workers. You can then plead with the government to pay for your mortgage, your SUV, and your child's future. Frankly, it isn't my problem any more.

Then, I will close this company down, move to another country, and retire. You see, I'm done. I'm done with a country that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, will be my citizenship.

So, if you lose your job, it won't be at the hands of the economy; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country, steamrolled the constitution, and will have changed its landscape forever. If that happens, you can find me sitting on a beach, retired, and with no employees to worry about....

Signed,

Your boss

Obama...The Reincarnation of the Teflon Don?

Someday, like in the year 2061, this plate might fetch $50,000 dollars on the Antique Roadshow. The first President-Elect... never to become President!

BHO and his associates:
Guilt by association..... Because you can't come out smelling like a rose, after walking through shit.

Rev. Wright: Obama sat in the United Trinity church for 20 years. Never heard any disparaging remarks. Either 1, Obama didn't go church, 2 he is deaf, 3 he is a liar!

Tony Resko: Sold Obama his house and the property next door. Rezko was a big story in Chicago, accused of influence-peddling in the Blagojevich administration.

A federal judge sent Illinois political fixer Antoin "Tony" Rezko to jail after federal prosecutors accused him of violating his bail terms by a convoluted series of financial transactions with Mideast banks.

Rezko has become an "Achilles heel" for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama after disclosures he and people associated with him had raised almost $200,000 for Obama and that Obama sought Rezko's "help and advice" in

the purchase of their new home.

He had a close relationship with a convicted felon who is now behind bars!

William Ayers: Another pal of Obama's, like's to blow things up. It is said Obama couldn't qualify to become an FBI agent because of his close ties with Ayers. President is OK though!

Gov. Blagojevich: Another close friend of Obama's just opened a new can of worms by trying to sell Obama's senate seat. Jesse Jackson Jr.pops up as
"Senate Candidate 5". He hires a lawyer even though he claims he is not the target of the investigation. Investigators want to know what Jackson knew about allegations that a Jackson "emissary" offered to raise at least $1 million in campaign contributions for Gov. Blagojevich in exchange for appointing the Democratic congressman to a U.S. Senate seat. Could the "emissary" be his old man? I'll tell you one thing. Blagojevich will sing like a canary since he's facing the slammer. I wonder where this is going, and who will be implicated?
.
When you piss your pants you only stay warm for so long.

What Johnnie Cochran Really Thought About O.J.

By Mark Fisher

It was late, nearing midnight, during O.J. Simpson's murder

trial in Los Angeles. Simpson's lead attorney, Johnnie

Cochran, had promised me an interview but had

warned that we'd have to squeeze it in during off

-hours. There weren't many off hours during the

insanity of the Trial of the Century.

"Meet me at the office late," Cochran said.

How late, I asked.

"Doesn't matter," Cochran replied. "No matter how

late you come, I'll be there."

Forty midnights in a row at the office had left the

lawyer in a contemplative mood. The spectacle

of the Simpson matter had long since ceased to

impress or appall. Every bit of legal strategy

and media manipulation had been combed over

so incessantly that there really weren't many

questions left to ask. So I asked the only

question I was really curious about.

Cochran by this point was well past ritual. So he

dished, off the record, of course. Cochran died in 2005,

so, by tradition of the craft, those comments are now

fair game.

"There's something wrong with him," Cochran said,

and he talked about other clients he'd had who somehow

managed to persuade themselves that they hadn't

done what they actually had done.

Simpson was a big star, a hero to some, a talented

person. But, said Cochran, "I wouldn't believe him

if he told me the sun was coming up again tomorrow morning."

And then the lawyer went back to work

on a defense so wonderfully constructed that it got

off a guy who had done a truly terrible deed.

PS: I'll never forget that look on Kardashian's face

when the verdict was read......

"My God, .....these idiot's actually believe... he didn't do it!"

Rielle Hunter's Sister Comes Forward

As I stated in a earlier post (Failing The Smell Test 8/14/08) Edwards got together with Hunter and it went down something like this:

"Look I'm going to go on ABC and have a
softball interview with Bob Woodruff, plead my case, and say I'm willing to take a paternity test."

"When they ask you to take one, you say not now, or in the future. This way I can deny the kid is mine and still come out smelling like a rose."

OK fine. But since he is so willing lets call his bluff. Perform a DNA test on him and the baby. That should provide conclusive evidence who the father is. Since he claims the kid is not his I would also like to know the answers to these questions.

1. She is living in 3 million dollar home in a gated community in southern California. She has no job. How is this possible?

2. She is receiving a payment of $15,000 a month. Why is she receiving the money? And most importantly where is the money coming from?

3. If he broke off the affair in 2006 like he said he did what was he doing in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton at 2:40 in the morning on July 21st 2008?

4. Have all the campaign contributions been accounted for from the idiot's that voted for him?

5. Since the cat is out of the bag,
and if there is nothing else to hide, (the kid's not his... right?) why is Rielle Hunter getting such special treatment?

This is what Edwards had to say in 1999 about the Clinton affair with Monica Lewinsky: .....Oh, this is rich.

"I think this president has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter. It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen."

The real kicker to the story ....... He could have blown his own party out of the water! Let's say for example he was the Democratic nominee and he selected Obama for the VP spot. One week before the Presidential election the National Enquirer breaks the story. Man, I would have paid to see that happen!

Watch him here try to lie his way out of it.

Heeere's Johnny

National Black Republican Association

http://www.trustedpartner.com/images/library/000143/Tampa%20MLK%20The%20Buzz.jpg

Frankly, I never knew the National Black Republican Association existed.
During the presidential campaign I thought this billboard would have sent a powerful message to the Black community. Whites as well.

Judging by the results no heed was paid to it.

I thought to myself.....should this be the end of welfare as we know it?

Will Obama's presidency mark the end of Affirmative Action?

After all, a Black man has attained the most elite position in the world. Therefore they are on a level playing field. Right? White people made a Black man president. It really didn't matter how Black's voted. Can anyone deny that?

Look I'm not naive enough to believe racism is dead and buried. But it would be nice to see the twin race baiters, Jesse and Uncle Al, go out of business.

Shelby Steele is an author, columnist and senior fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution.

This is what he had to say:

For the first time in human history, a largely white nation has elected a black man to be its paramount leader. And the cultural meaning of this unprecedented convergence of dark skin and ultimate power will likely become -- at least for a time -- a national obsession. In fact, the Obama presidency will always be read as an allegory. Already we are as curious about the cultural significance of his victory as we are about its political significance.
Does his victory mean that America is now officially beyond racism? Does it finally complete the work of the civil rights movement so that racism is at last dismissible as an explanation of black difficulty? Can the good Revs. Jackson and Sharpton now safely retire to the seashore? Will the Obama victory dispel the twin stigmas that have tormented black and white Americans for so long -- that blacks are inherently inferior and whites inherently racist? Doesn't a black in the Oval Office put the lie to both black inferiority and white racism? Doesn't it imply a "post-racial" America? And shouldn't those of us -- white and black -- who did not vote for Mr. Obama take pride in what his victory says about our culture even as we mourn our political loss?
Answering no to such questions is like saying no to any idealism; it seems callow. How could a decent person not hope for all these possibilities, or not give America credit for electing its first black president? And yet an element of Barack Obama's success was always his use of the idealism implied in these questions as political muscle. His talent was to project an idealized vision of a post-racial America -- and then to have that vision define political decency. Thus, a failure to support Obama politically implied a failure of decency.
Obama's special charisma -- since his famous 2004 convention speech -- always came much more from the racial idealism he embodied than from his political ideas. In fact, this was his only true political originality. On the level of public policy, he was quite unremarkable. His economics were the redistributive axioms of old-fashioned Keynesianism; his social thought was recycled Great Society. But all this policy boilerplate was freshened up -- given an air of "change" -- by the dreamy post-racial and post-ideological kitsch he dressed it in.
This worked politically for Obama because it tapped into a deep longing in American life -- the longing on the part of whites to escape the stigma of racism. In running for the presidency -- and presenting himself to a majority white nation -- Obama knew intuitively that he was dealing with a stigmatized people. He knew whites were stigmatized as being prejudiced, and that they hated this situation and literally longed for ways to disprove the stigma.
Obama is what I have called a "bargainer" -- a black who says to whites, "I will never presume that you are racist if you will not hold my race against me." Whites become enthralled with bargainers out of gratitude for the presumption of innocence they offer. Bargainers relieve their anxiety about being white and, for this gift of trust, bargainers are often rewarded with a kind of halo.
Obama's post-racial idealism told whites the one thing they most wanted to hear: America had essentially contained the evil of racism to the point at which it was no longer a serious barrier to black advancement. Thus, whites became enchanted enough with Obama to become his political base. It was Iowa -- 95% white -- that made him a contender. Blacks came his way only after he won enough white voters to be a plausible candidate.
Of course, it is true that white America has made great progress in curbing racism over the last 40 years. I believe, for example, that Colin Powell might well have been elected president in 1996 had he run against a then rather weak Bill Clinton. It is exactly because America has made such dramatic racial progress that whites today chafe so under the racist stigma. So I don't think whites really want change from Obama as much as they want documentation of change that has already occurred. They want him in the White House first of all as evidence, certification and recognition.
But there is an inherent contradiction in all this. When whites -- especially today's younger generation -- proudly support Obama for his post-racialism, they unwittingly embrace race as their primary motivation. They think and act racially, not post-racially. The point is that a post-racial society is a bargainer's ploy: It seduces whites with a vision of their racial innocence precisely to coerce them into acting out of a racial motivation. A real post-racialist could not be bargained with and would not care about displaying or documenting his racial innocence. Such a person would evaluate Obama politically rather than culturally.
Certainly things other than bargaining account for Obama's victory. He was a talented campaigner. He was reassuringly articulate on many issues -- a quality that Americans now long for in a president. And, in these last weeks, he was clearly pushed over the top by the economic terrors that beset the nation. But it was the peculiar cultural manipulation of racial bargaining that brought him to the political dance. It inflated him as a candidate, and it may well inflate him as a president.
There is nothing to suggest that Obama will lead America into true post-racialism. His campaign style revealed a tweaker of the status quo, not a revolutionary. Culturally and racially, he is likely to leave America pretty much where he found her.
But what about black Americans? Won't an Obama presidency at last lead us across a centuries-old gulf of alienation into the recognition that America really is our country? Might this milestone not infuse black America with a new American nationalism? And wouldn't this be revolutionary in itself? Like most Americans, I would love to see an Obama presidency nudge things in this direction. But the larger reality is the profound disparity between black and white Americans that will persist even under the glow of an Obama presidency. The black illegitimacy rate remains at 70%. Blacks did worse on the SAT in 2000 than in 1990. Fifty-five percent of all federal prisoners are black, though we are only 13% of the population. The academic achievement gap between blacks and whites persists even for the black middle class. All this disparity will continue to accuse blacks of inferiority and whites of racism -- thus refueling our racial politics - - despite the level of melanin in the president's skin.
The torture of racial conflict in America periodically spits up a new faith that idealism can help us "overcome" -- America's favorite racial word. If we can just have the right inspiration, a heroic role model, a symbolism of hope, a new sense of possibility. It is an American cultural habit to endure our racial tensions by periodically alighting on little islands of fresh hope and idealism. But true reform, like the civil rights victories of the '60s, never happens until people become exhausted with their suffering. Then they don't care who the president is

This was totally preventable

Manuel Contreras-Galdean

Manuel Contreras-Galdean

I wrote about this so many times that I'm sick of it. How many people have to die before we get rid of these illegals? This bastard while driving drunk killed a 16 year old girl named Kelly Tracy. Only 16 years old! Her young life snuffed out. Why does this continually happen? I just can't understand it! Does anyone in ICE or other branches of law enforcement give a damn? Apparently not:

According to police records, Contreras-Galdean was arrested in July 2000 in Salt Lake City on suspicion of interfering with a police officer. He served 10 days in jail. And was set free.

In April 2001, he was arrested in West Jordan, Utah, on suspicion of giving false information to police. He served 10 days in jail. And was set free.

In May 2001, the Utah Highway Patrol arrested him on suspicion of DUI. And set him free.

In 2003, he was stopped by a New Mexico cop who called the Border Patrol. Contreras-Galdean accepted a voluntary return to Mexico.

In January 2007, he was arrested in Tempe on suspicion of extreme DUI. He pleaded guilty to DUI and served 24 hours in April 2007. And was set free.

Why wasn't he deported? This is so ludicrous I can't even comphrend it. But I can tell you one thing. The complete break down of law enforcement is why Kelly Tracy is dead. How many more Kelly Tracy's have to die before we do something?

Why we are...Where we are

As I write this please bear in mind I respect the man and his service to our country.

Definition of John McCain

Why we are.... where we are!

In a nutshell both of these definitions apply to John McCain.

mav·er·ick:

1. An unbranded range animal, especially a calf that has become separated from its mother (The Republican Party.) Traditionally considered the property of the first person who brands it. (The Democratic Party)

2. One that refuses to abide by the dictates of or resists adherence to a group; a dissenter.

Documented Facts:

CO-Sponsor of the "Shamesty Bill" with Ted Kennedy! (Need I say more?)

Votes with the like's of Hillary Clinton, Obama, Kennedy, and Kerry to give illegals Social Security
benefits. (Unbelievable!)

He twice opposed the Bush tax cuts. Then advocates extending the Bush tax cuts that he twice voted
against.

This went over real big when he said: "I don't know as much about the economy as I should."

He said the economy was rock solid. About 4 days later Paulson announces a 700 billion dollar
emergency bailout!

He doesn't know how many house's he has?

Add all this up, with the MSM in the tank for Obama, and we saw the end result.

According to some blogs I have read we have become a party of stodgy old men. This has got to change. We need fresh blood. New ideas. We need new leadership.

Maybe you have seen Michael Steele on FOX.
When asked by FOX News as an African-American how he felt when Obama won he said. "As an African-American I feel proud. Too bad it had to be a Democrat."

I understand Michael Steele is going to run to become Chairman of the RNC. Excellent choice. When your team ends the season 3-11. You got to do something. So you might as well start at the top.

AIG at it again.... repeat 2nd time!

Yesterday the federal government agreed to increase the bail out money to AIG.

CEO Edward Liddy referred to the influx of money as "an arrangement with the federal government." All this time I thought it was a bail out. Isn't spin a wonderful thing?

Anyway they got caught sending financial planners (if you think about it, that in itself
is a joke.) to a posh luxury resort complete with cocktails parties, limousines, and dinner at top restaurants. This new fiasco cost. Get ready. $343,000.00.

Wait it gets better. This is killer. AIG instructed the hotel to keep their visit a secret. No signs allowed. When CEO Liddy was asked why was it a secret with no signs, he said the lack of signage was a result of cost cutting measures!

"We are really cutting corners. We're doing the same thing the American taxpayer is doing," Liddy said. "We are tightening our belts. We didn't use any signage."

PS: It's funny but in a way it's not. How in the hell are you going to control $700 billion? What percent of this money is going up in smoke? What branch of the government is checking how this money is being spent? I wonder if they thought this through before rushing it through Congress!

Fairness Doctrine

http://www.foxnews.com/images/268793/1_61_schumer_chuck.jpg
Chucky Boy

Allow me start off by saying this is something all of us should be very concerned about.
As you know the vast majority of the mainstream media is in the tank for Obama. They openly supported his candidacy. As you have in football, Obama has his own built in cheerleaders.....the media.
The prominent people on the right are Cavuto, O'reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Dennis Prager, Michelle Malkin, to name a few....there are others.....but they fail in comparison to the avalanche in the print media, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC. Not to mention Hollywood! Lets face it. The list is endless!
So why am I telling you something you already know?
I'll try to put it in a nutshell. The liberals want to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine. Even the name is a misnomer. This was passed during the Democratic Truman administration. January 5th 1949 Truman delivered the State of the Union message asking for strengthened liberal program characterized as the "Fair Deal."

A quick summary:

FAIRNESS DOCTRINE

U.S. Broadcasting Policy The policy of the United States Federal Communications Commission that became known as the "Fairness Doctrine" is an attempt to ensure that all coverage of controversial issues by a broadcast station be balanced and fair. The FCC took the view, in 1949, that station licensees were "public trustees," and as such had an obligation to afford reasonable opportunity for discussion of contrasting points of view on controversial issues of public importance. The Commission later held that stations were also obligated to actively seek out issues of importance to their community and air programming that addressed those issues. With the deregulation sweep of the Reagan Administration during the 1980s, the Commission dissolved the fairness doctrine.

On the surface the Fairness Doctrine seems.....well fair.
The truth is it is far from it:
This is why liberals want to reinstate it and why conservatives are against it:

(wikipedia)

The Fairness Doctrine has been strongly opposed by prominent libertarians and conservatives who view it as an attempt to regulate or mandate certain types of speech on the airwaves. Editorials in The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Times have said that Democratic attempts to bring back the Fairness Doctrine have been made largely in response to and contempt for the successes of conservative talk radio.

What's next FOX News?
Isn't freedom of speech a right under the 1st Amendment?
This is nothing more then a blatant attempt by Schumer and is band of bastards trying to suppress what little is left of the conservative media.
He told Megyn Kelly (in a snide way, with a shit eating grin on his face) he supports reinstating the Fairness Doctrine because he wants... "all of the media to be like FOX...fair and balanced."
Want the Fairness Doctrine Schumer? Apply it to Obama Headquaters aka MSNBC and the rest of the main stream media!
